Unfortunately, please notice that JW Player plugin is not tested with our theme and we have no idea about the theme behaviour with this type of plugin, sorry -> maybe it works well with the theme!
Unfortunately, our theme has not been designed to support as feature video from Facebook, only from YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion sorry! You can do this only through some plugins with this functionality or you can try to implement this function in our theme if you want. Please notice that is not a simple task and require to know solid knowledge about hard coding ->PHP/JS/HTML/CSS. If you want to display more levels in our theme and you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to do this for you because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!
I have added your suggestion to our list of improvements, we will consider this but we cannot say for sure that it will be implemented in next update because we have a big list of fixes and other new improvements to achieve that are more important and also these things are decided by our developers.

You can update your social counter plugin as there were several styles added to it and the old version will not work anymore with newspaper 7. Please disable and delete the plugin files from the plugins section and then install it again from here: http://screencast.com/t/Zfv3tFwkyQe

The description was not meant to be displayed on the author box itself, but only when a user is clicked. This is the default behavior of the theme, and if you click on the author, the description is there.
That was a customization you made based on my first reply on the top of this topic. That class was added custom, so maybe you replaced the file when you updated the theme and your customization is gone. You have to do it again.

Please check our documentation and please notice that we recommend doing your update only via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. Also, please update all your plugins via FTP for better results. Please notice that all your additional customizations through the code of your main theme, to next update the code will be overwritten and also, you will lose your customizations. If you want to avoid this case, you should use the child theme, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/

The latest version of WordPress (4.5.x) ‘broke’ the Visual Composer and now it is necessary to update the plugin to the latest version of it, namely 4.11.2. Also, please notice that you cannot use a newer version of WordPress with an older version of Newspaper and Visual Composer because it will appear a lot of issues through it. So, please try to update your theme to the latest version (Newspaper 7.0.1), update your Visual Composer to the latest version 4.11.2, Social Counter to 4.0, clear all your caches and test it again.

The issue was already resolved if you access your site now you will see the problem is gone. That is a caching issue as when you updated the theme, you still had the old version cached. Now it seems to have cleared.

We have a plugins section in the theme panel, so if a plugin is updated it will be bundled with the theme and it can be installed from here: http://screencast.com/t/6TzYrQeNE3. You just need to disable and delete your current version of the plugin and then install it again from the panel.

We looked into this matter.
The solution cannot be provided by us as the issue comes from the plugin itself. We will have to either wait for an update from the author or downgrade as Bintmusic has.

Try to switch to the main theme as the child theme has a style.css that has not been updated. The files in the child theme especially style.css need to be replaced on every update as it;s a file that gets modified every time. A child theme is not update proof. Please re-create your child theme with the current version of the files and re-add your modification on the new files.

I feel sorry for this moment, maybe my explanation was not understood correctly. So, if you have some custom modifications in your child theme, in the future, you must be careful that if something does not work as properly with your child theme, probably the classes or some code were changed in the latest update and you will have to “UPDATE” you child theme with the actual classes or right code to work as expected. I hope that you have understood my explanation. Please notice that this thing is not necessary doing for each update only if problems arise due your child theme customizations.
