Hi,
You most likely updated wordpress to the latest version. There was a conflict between VC and the new version of WP but they released an update and so did we. Please download the latest version of the theme from envato and make sure you update visual composer by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

It works. You have to install the latest version of Newsmag and VC 4.11.

You may need to manually update VC after you update NewsMag.

I have already purchased your theme – Newspaper – and just updated the plugin Visual Composer. However, I am required to activate my copy with product license. Please get back to me as soon as possible. Thanks.

My newsman was working well until an update of wordpress became available. I updated it, and the plugin ceased to work. I tried to follow instructions on how to activate it. It did not work. I deleted the entire website, and reloaded it. Nothing.

My impression is wpbakery.com has overruled the previous ‘visual composer’ while updating wordpress, and directs you to their website to buy the updated version of the old visual composer. Now, there is a change in the configuration of visual composer as included in newsmag, making it hard to overrule the instructions in the style sheet (CSS).

Can someone help out?

Hi Guys! After update WordPress to v4.5, the images dissapear in all website
The temporary solution in disabled lazy load image
Bur are others bugs! Navigation arrows don’t work in slides modules of news in the website
See Our website of NewsMags theme
Please, an urgent update whit fix this errors and more, is necesary

hi there, im the newspaper premium theme user.. do i need to purchase the license key for the VC, i have just updated the latest version.

this is the msg i get on top of my wp dashboard. pls tell me how can i solve it.

Also wanted to clarify, these issues began after the new WordPress update I ran today. Something isn’t compatible between theme and new WordPress update. Please fix asap.

SAME PROBLEM when update Newsmag theme with WordPress 4.5 – Please, help us with an update theme fix
Turning off lazyload restored all images–except for posts using Style 6 for the featured image.

Same issue, no pictures showing on home page or within posts except revolution slider ads. Please release an update asap that we can grab via theme update in wordpress dashboard console. Also noticed the sign in / register option up top isn’t working. I have to do http://www.site.com/wp-admin to login vs. going through sign in / register feature.

1. As captioned, should have an area in the them panel to update the theme directly? Instead of copying the files to the server again. This’s bothering.

2. Anything else’s updated in the version released on Apr 14, 2016 than the visual composer and Revolution slider?

3. Is this update making Newspaper theme fully compatible with WordPress 4.5?

Hello,

I installed the update of Newspaper, and as a result it appeared this error: when I use the Search function, the video appears at the top of the page, and not in the right place (see please the URL to understand the question: http://videosupporters.com/fans-didier-drogbas-first-mls-goal-montreal-2015/).

So, I´d like to know what to do in order to fix this situation.

Updated WordPress to 4.5, Newspaper to 6.7.1 and Visual Composer to 4.11.2

Now Visual Composer won’t load and if I try and Customise the theme, the only options I have is to Save and Publish. No access to anything else

Please advise how I go forward as I need to finish my site

Updating things is a real pain.

It does not alert me like it should.

Where is the list of the current plugins for the Theme so I can check they updated properly or not?

Right now I download. Unzip. Then go into the plugins. Unzip again. Go and try to find the version info blah blah.

Where is a listing that I can trust is updated on time every time?

There’s a new update to Visual Composer you can download by downloading the latest update to Newspaper. From there, you can follow the instructions in this link to update the plugin.

Hello,

I updated to the lateset (todays) theme as well as the jscomposer which came with it.

When I try to upload an image to the media library I get HTTP error.

When I look in the javascript console this is the error I get:

JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.0
4http://www.weekendworldnews.com/wp-admin/async-upload.php
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)

What might be the problem?
