Finding and using a plugin would be your best option as the theme doesn’t have any ad spot that can place an add like that.
We will consider adding this possibility in future updates if we decide to improve theme’s ad system.

Hi there,
I’m trying to test Newspaper 6 on a staging site.
So far I’ve:
– Deleted old theme,
– Deleted Visual Composer
– Installed new theme
– Installed visual composer
– Run the update script
My problem is that I have literally hundreds of posts that use the shortcodes such as [quote_box_right][/quote_box_right]
These posts are now just showing the short code as plain text rather than converted to the new format.

Sorry for the delay!
This may happen due to the 7 days post sorting feature which makes requests to the server to update the counter and keep track of the “most popular posts”if you have it set please try without it, it will lower the number of database queries.

UPDATE: I found a workaround to this issue. Although it doesn’t change the original problem, I did figure out how to NOT disable the sidebar on pages with Visual Composer content.

Basically you add a line to the page.php file that tells the theme not to disable the sidebar on the default template, then you add the custom sidebar to the location specified on the page.
I’d still like to know what’s going on though, if you have an answer as to why my site isn’t saving sidebars.
I’ve experienced a problem in the past day. On certian pages, the template Pagebuilder + Page Title won’t save. It allows me to select the option, when I hit Update it reverts back to “Default”.
I’ve tried re-installing the theme twice, restoring it from a backup where this option worked. Not sure what to do at this point. I saw a post somewhere saying that I can go into the SQL and change the post settings for the page manually. I did that, it did nothing.
Any suggestions?
So I guess the next theme update will have slider revolution v5, right?
Also, I don’t know if this is allowed or not but can the example-zips folder inside the revolution slider download folder from codecanyon be provided? I would like to experiment with some pre-made templates of the slider.

I figured it out…it is something from a plugin Nextcellent gallery…it is an alternative for Nextgen gallery which newest version wont work on my page…
that’s the one more thing I wanted to ask…
I deactivated all of the plugins…and switched to the default twenty theme…and installed 2.0.79 version…then the page worked…
I updated NGG to the newest version and the page still worked…
And then with all plugin still deactivated, I activated theme Newsmag, and the page went down…

We provide updates on a regular basis, after we test the plugin for theme compatibility the plugin is included in the latest theme update, inside the /plugins folder, so you don’t have to buy it only if you want this(it is the same procedure with Visual Composer – if a new version of the plugin is available, it will be included in the next theme update).

You will have to run the import script like it is specified in upgrade guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The import script does the following operations:
Renames all the shortcodes from your pages to the new names
Imports all the sidebars
Renames all the widgets from the sidebars to the new names
And also please update the plugins that come with the theme files, just deactivate and delete the old version and install it from here – http://screencast.com/t/iPymNOzGKMWz Please note that you will have to re-add the widgets to your sidebars, as they will become inactive and also some of them(widgets or pagebuider elements) doesn’t exist anymore.

Once I installed my News purchased newspaper theme, my Server is going bad. Firstly I had got a problem in wp-super cache plugin.
I removed it.
But, still, every time i want to update my website, getting error of memory allocation.
My Godaddy server shows 490 MB of 512 MB of Ram & 85% cpu usage. That too without users online for the website.
Now, when i am trying to update a post i can’t b’s of memory allocation issue.
Dashboard news show-
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 91 bytes) in /home/public_html/drbole.com/wp-includes/capabilities.php on line 802
previously it was showing plugin.php memory allocation error.
Why this theme is using so much resources?

If you have an issue displaying ads on your page (they do not appear), there is an issue in the td_config.php file and you have to add this code – http://screencast.com/t/ZQJyFIm04Uv It will be fixed in the next update.

I have tried repeatly to fix the problem by disabling some plugins with no results at all. I don’t know if this is a problem of memory or anything else. I have also considered it to be a problem with the WP version, so I updated it too, but it still persits the problem.

Thank you for getting in touch. I’m sorry to hear this has been a problem for you. I think that it should be easy to solve; at least, here’s something to try. Let me know if it works for you.
By default, FeedWordPress deliberately tries to protect syndicated posts from being altered by the formatting filters that are applied to locally-authored posts (I’m not positive this is the best default policy; but there are reasons in favor of it and reasons against). In any case, though, this behavior can be turned off by flipping a single setting in the FeedWordPress admin interface.
Here’s how. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard, and then go to FeedWordPress’s Posts & Links settings (Syndication > Posts & Links in the navigation bar on the right hand side of the WordPress admin interface). This should bring up a settings page with a number of panels of settings that control how syndicated posts appear on your website.
Next, scroll down through these settings until you find a panel labeled Formatting. The first setting on this panel should be called Formatting Filters. By default, unless you have altered this setting, it should read “Protect syndicated posts from formatting filters” in the drop-down menu. What you’ll want to do is to pull down the drop-down, and change this setting to “Expose syndicated posts to formatting filters”.
When you are done, scroll down to the bottom to find the blue Save Changes button. Mash that button, clear any page caches or browser caches you may need to clear to make sure you are looking at a fresh copy, and take a look at your website again to see if VC codes are now being applied to syndicated posts.
Note that if you are adding VC codes to syndicated posts by editing them in the WordPress post editor, that when you save changes to a syndicated post you will also need to click the checkbox in the post editor reading “Manual editing,” in order to ensure that the changes that you make won’t be overwritten by FeedWordPress during a later update.

One area I found the developer can work is shortcodes. Do we have any shortcode which allow me to create any information, caution or warning message box inside the post.
Yes there are are plugins or add styles manually in styles.css but when we update themes, it always become a headache.
Basically I need to create a box inside my post so thatt it can be used to emphasis some thoughts.

UPDATE: Actually ignore it all. It was a plugin messing with the website. Tried deactivating a few plugins and it seemed to work again.
I just tried it successfully. Your error probably comes from not inserting php tags.
Make sure that your single_template_##.php looks like this:
