Thank you. I would be very happy if you could try and get the modified date option included in the next update, as most news websites would want to show that the article has been updated, and this would help with google rankings.
It is not practical to edit the files every time there is an update.

Hi, I have updated the new theme but I had to replace the previous version. When updating the new theme and updating the plugins, I lost the cloud templates so the designs are not shown as they were previously created.

and after updating my site, my website front page is blue and has lost all design.
how do i fix this ?
I update the theme to the latest but i m not able to update TD-Composer when i upload file to install new plugin it gives me error as:
The requested resource
/wp-admin/update.php
does not allow request data with POST requests, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit.
Also in the wordpress admin panel it is not showing Newspaper theme settings menu.

how can i add here “Modified date”. i think you must add nex updates.
For custom assets, these have been defined in the the themes > Newspaper > includes > td_config.php
In the update, these items defined in td_config.php with files in the Template still (mostly) work however as all of the original files are now moved into the plugin, what is the best approach… attempting to rebuild in the plugin or retain these in the theme folder.
To initialise the assets within the plugin, is the reference file td-composer > includes > tdc-config.php ?

That should work if you edit the module files in the composer plugin files. The api plugin was discontinued unfortunately. It was replaced with the creative plugin

The guide contains just a simple example at the moment, but not one for an actual block.
Due to the files being moved in the composer after the 9.7 update, currently there would no way of modifying the modules, either than directly. Through the plugin it would be possible to add a new block based on flex block 1 for example, it may take some work to do it however. If I could provide an exact guide as to what needs to be done, I would happily. Maybe we will update the documentation with more examples when time permits.
For the time being you could make your modifications to the module, and back up the file. Then replace the new file after a theme update with the backup. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The Newspaper theme update brings a change for the theme implementation.
When you’ll be updating to the Newspaper 9.7 version, you’ll need to activate the tagDiv Composer to keep the Newspaper theme functionality you’ve previously used.

In major cases, this error happens due to the wrong theme installing. First of all, please make sure that you have correctly installed the theme via FTP way, according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Also, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ If you have an old PHP version, you should try to update it to a new version, like 7.1 or 7.2. If you cannot change it you need to request this to your hosting provider.

It is mandatory to delete all what was left from the older version before intalling this update. Overwriting the files would cause a lot of problems and maybe you’ve missed something while deleting the old files. Have you checked the plugins to be deleted too ? Replacing that file from the composer with the new one, should work. I have tested it again, it works for me on my end. This fix will be included in the coming theme update, which should be released in the following days.
You could try it again, delete the old file, and upload the one, in the tagDiv composer plugin – http://prntscr.com/nuaa5c
Sorry for this inconvenience, it will be fixed permanently in the next update.
At the moment, from what I know, there are no plans to exclude the WPBakery from the theme package. If that should happen at some point in the future, there will be notices ahead of time.
We tried to fix as many conflicts between the composers, most of them were fixed. Pages can be built with either one, but there could be problems in some cases. For example if a page built with WPBakery containing WPBakery specific elements, is edited with the tagDiv composer. The page could be damaged then, and the WPBakery elements removed (if this should happen you could try and return to a previous page revision).

Before latest update, I was using a custom block with custom logic (not available with flex block).
Now it doesn’t work as the oldest api plugin is not used anymore.
I checked the new creative plugin, but I don’t understand how I can add a filter tab to my custom block ?
My old syntax was something like this :
td_config::get_map_filter_array(),
td_config::get_map_block_ajax_filter_array(),
td_config_helper::block_font(),
td_config_helper::module_110_font(),
td_config::get_map_block_pagination_array()
How can I get the same result with the new plugin ?

Second time that I have tried to update to the latest version of Newspaper. It has been hell. After changing settings in my PHP I was able to upload the theme successfully. I had deleted the old Newspaper theme files, even went into file manager and deleted some old files from there. I renamed the themes folder and got a bunch of error messages. I renamed the Plug-ins folder with no success. Otherwise I just get a blank white screen. I currently have another theme running just so there is something to look at, but it’s not pretty. I activated the Debug file and got this in the log file:

Hi there, First of all, NewsPaper is my All time most favourite theme. but Now I’m facing a problem with Mobile editor. I don’t know why it not working. I have created a page where I wrote 1700+ Words of Artice with 15+ Images (You can say this is a post, But I want to share it on my Page section). After publishing the page it shows on PC or desktop but not in Mobile, Because of when I Copy past the same content from the main editor to Mobile Editor and click save. After refreshing the page the mobile page editor still Blank. Just to be sure: the old option with
td_api_module::update_key(ID, KEY, VALUE);
is no longer possible? I keep getting these errors:

You could use this plugin from now on. Or experiment with flex blocks, maybe what it used to be possible only with the api plugin, it is now possible with flex blocks and grids
