FIRST: This is the second time I’ve updated the theme to latest and twice have had to roll it back out of disappointment with the limitations.
Do I have to use the mobile theme to use the new AMP?
I don’t want to use the Mobile theme on the homepage because I don’t like the way it limits the design
How can I keep my homepage design and still have mobile theme?
When I did upgrade and activated the mobile theme, my single posts still looked like the Cloud template design that I want, but the homepage offers few options for design.
SECOND – When updated to the new version my menus setting didn’t work on Mobile and when I clicked the menu it wanted me to sign in and asked that I “Click here use WP Menu builder”

Lately this problem has happened to me several times. The site is interrupted for a few minutes and then resumes functioning. What can it be given from? Can you check?
Server says it’s not a resource problem.
Furthermore WPBakery Page Builder is no longer updated.

My timezone is UTC+2. I checked it on WordPress and in the PHP timezone. It’s ok Europe/Madrid.
But in the article published time meta, the hour is wrong.
I checked that this happens it at least 2 different websites with Newspaper theme updated to the last version. In differtent hostings and with only the TagDiv plugins in common.
Do you know that is this a bug? or a fail with any plugin/wordpress configuration?
RSS structure changed after update from theme, The changes that were made during the update completely changed the XML in the RSS….
The file use to include an XML element labeled “image” and that xml element would have a sub element labeled, “url”. That entire element, “image” is no longer included.
I am one angry customer.
Before updating to the last two updates my Adsense CPC was averaging 0.09. Now I am doing 0.05 and my earnings have dropped from $150 a day to a mere $60 or $70.
The mobile plugin and amp plugin were fine but this update is making loses for me. Is there a way of getting the old setup back?

The child theme is to make changes in theme files and set them there to do not be override when you make a theme update, if you do not want to change the post templates is no need to copy them in child theme.

If you will make a theme update to v9.6.1 you will get the WPBakery v5.7 for this you need to login with your credentials on themeforest and download the theme with All files and documentation.
Also the WPBakery Page Builder plugin is and Bundled Plugin in our theme not a standalone plugin, please check the envato documentation for those plugins

(v.4.6) -> https://www.screencast.com/t/32BUXAsXY0x Notice that the latest version of this plugin is v.5.4.8.3 Please update it if you want to bring good results. Notice that our theme comes bundled with this version of the plugins. Update it, clear all the caches and check the results.

i have updated WordPress to 5.1.1 version and with Newspaper 9.1 it’s all ok.
Then, i’d like to update the theme to Newspaper 9.6.1 (latest version) but this update has created a big problem in my website.
All images have disappeared!

This may be caused by old PHP versions. Please ask your hosting provider to update the PHP to 7 or greater. Chances are the issue will be solved.

Without bothering with the rest of it, this is likely the issue:
5) The model does not match the content
tagDiv Composer not working: The model doesn’t match the content
This error appears in the tagDiv Composer page builder screen when you are trying to edit a page that contains unsupported shortcodes. The most frequent cases are: the page was modified in the backend by adding code or scripts directly through the TinyMCE editor or if you’ve inserted HTML code with missing tags. This error is also be caused by specific plugins that insert code into pages. You should not use such plugins.
Solution:
You can fix this in two different way:
Clean the code. Recreate the element with the tagDiv Composer. If you need to add other items that are not present in the tagDiv Composer elements list, please use a “Column text” element.
If you already added custom HTML code inside a “description” section inside a tagDiv Composer item, make sure it’s clean and correct (no missing tags). Also, please consider removing it. We recommend you to do not insert HTML code in the page builder as it may cause issues and affect the way tagDiv Composer is functioning.
But these are shortcodes I use on my entire site and I need to keep them. The page builder is useless if I have to update it manually every time I make a site wide change. The composer should work like the rest of the site – I make a change in one place to a shortcode and it changes sitewide. This worked when I bought the theme when you used VC and it doesn’t work for my business model to change it now.
Please make the tagdiv composer work with other shortcodes. I need the composer for just a few elements, like buttons. I shouldn’t have to change my entire business model to use a few buttons. They should just work.

That must mean that you currently have/or installed a mobile theme plugin that is from a different theme version.
If you use 9.2.2 check in the theme package you have downloaded at the time and install the plugin found there, it is located in the plugins folder

After each theme update, all theme plugins have to be updated. In theme version 9.6.1 (latest) most theme plugins can be updated in the plugins panel

Unfortunately the video background option is only for desktop version for the moment, maybe in coming updates will be available on mobile version too ( what you see now on mobile is just a thumb, is not the video ).

I added the Header manager to make a landing page.
Since I am using this header manager I am getting these kinds of message.
Error at zones: 5(models) : 4(dom). The model does not match the content
I will not use this header manager because make to much trouble.
– How can I delete the header manager function from Tagdiv composer?
(I want to delete it to make sure in the future I don’t use it so long it is not fixed.)
In the future, next theme update could you please make a kind of landing page to the theme without menu?
You could save a lot of time to yourself because lot of people have an issue with it.
Nowadays everybody need a landing page and will try to do it somehow…

Hi there,
By default the category pages shows posts ALL posts of the parent category and ALL posts of its child categories, which produces a ton of duplicate category content in large websites.
I would like category pages to have the option to display thumbnails of child categories (category image/title/description) in a content silo where posts are only shown in one category within a specific a PARENT/CHILD relationship.
i.e. the LOWEST CHILD CATEGORY or selected PRIMARY CATEGORY.
An option however would also be needed to ensure it can also be shown in other categories which are not within the same PARENT category. i.e. Lowest child category of seconary Parent Category (not parent of Primary Category selection).
Can this be done with the latest version of the theme, 9.6.1?
If not, how about considering for content silo based websites in an a future update?
One possible way to easily integrate would have a post option of Where to Display with category display choices of:
All Categories (default)/ Primary Category / Lowest Parent Child Relation / Primary Category + Other Lowest Parent Child, Relations / Manual Category IDs input, etc.
A second Category option would be needed to enable next-level Child categories within the current Parent feed. Category / Tag Images and Excerpts (not descriptions) would also be useful for the feed.

After theme update please check the theme plugins to be updated and activate in specially tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library if you are using elements from cloud -> https://www.screencast.com/t/aNq9x55w or visual Composer ( now WPBakery ) if you use it to build your website.
Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
WP_MEMORY_LIMIT try to increase it at least to 256mb.
Also please check the php version to be 7-7.2

I see. There is a problem with margins.
