Please notice that the child theme addresses only for ADVANCED USERS which have solid knowledge in hard coding and also, please notice that our support is not covered by these additional customizations which you have entered into your code. Also, please ensure that you are using the latest version of child theme which comes bundled with the latest version of Newspaper. Please notice that very important is what you have added in your child theme because the code could be wrong and the child theme will not work. 6)As I said you above, the general cropping system for the entire theme is ‘center to top’. Images used in thumbs are cropped to fit the thumb size and depending on image aspect ratio the result can be different. The theme uses center-top cropping system but if you want you can modify it to center-center (for example) if you consider that will work better. Please notice that our theme has been tested with all type of browsers and it does not seem to appear this type of issue. This is the original behaviour for our theme…so, please try to check all your theme settings and you should try to revert all of them to the default state to rule out any errors. Please notice that as long as this error does not happen for our demo means that the problem is on your side. As a verification, please try to make a new fresh install and check if this problem appears or not. Also, if you are using the CDN, please try to purge all CDN file, clear all your caches and test it again.

Please notice that even though the mobile theme does not support the Visual Composer for the shortcode, it uses the Visual Composer to display the Big Grid from the front of the page and the Latest Articles from the bottom of the page which are made in our theme with Visual Composer elements. Please notice that the theme code is further changing and the new code of the theme could interfere with these plugins (which was worked in the older version of Newspaper) and might create a lot of unknown issue through the theme. The general rule is to use the theme without the untested plugin to rule out the conflicting plugins which could be caused by them. Also, in this case, you will have to find an alternative, another plugin which works fine with the theme.
