Hi,
The 403 can be inspected by click on this – https://i.imgur.com/v640GQA.png
Usually this is a security plugin like Wordfence or something similar, also it can be a custom code set in the .htaccess file – https://i.imgur.com/cyOd0Lb.png – https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
Hi chrisb412 ,
There are a few elements that needs to be checked to can set the homepage on full width. You need to make sure that you not have enabled the boxed option in the theme panel (usually this option is used when a background image or color is set for the website -> https://i.imgur.com/EdKeywD.png), after that you need to use the tagDiv Composer to stretch the rows – https://imgur.com/WKYebPX – https://imgur.com/TO1BZ3M – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
I hope this will help you!

Hi michelsaguiar, can you please provide some more datils about this problem? Do you have some examples? Our theme is scanned and verified before being uploaded to themeforest and is also verified by the platform’s tool for malwares, so there should not be such problems.
If possible, please do not provide as much information and details as possible and we will check where this problem comes from.
Thank you!
Hi, the EastCoast use a custom module made in the Eastcoast Check PRO Plugin, therefore to edit it you need to edit that plugin, but there is a better way, now our tagDiv Composer can build modules and you can get from cloud and jut edit it after your needs (or you can create your own modules) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/
I hope this will help you!

Hi bastab, what needs to be done to can install that demo completely without problems is to install first a theme plugin, for this please go to Newspaper > plugins and install the tagDiv Opt-in builder, after that you can install the Momentum demo without problems.
I hope this will help you!
Hi manbodyspirit, what you need to do is to set the staging or subdomain and try there the theme update. Also, you should do the update via FTP/cPanel and you’ll need to do make a full backup for the website and database, and only after that update the theme.
The steps are:
1. Download the Newspaper theme from your themeforest account and unzip it.
2. Set the theme on maintenance mode.
3. Disable the tagDiv plugins and delete them.
4. Using the FTP or cPanel delete the current theme and set the downloaded theme from the themeforest.
5. Connect to the dashboard website and go to Newspaper > plugins and install the plugins you have from the theme (tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Social counter… those plugins that were installed), also it will be need to install the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin to keep the current layout.
6. Macke sure that the theme is activated – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-6-how-to-activate-the-theme/
If everything is ok, then you can disable the maintenance mode.
The theme settings are saved in database and those will not be affected during the changes.
I hope this will help you!

Hi TWDesigns, there should be no problem to set any kind of code in ads section, but most probably it is a copy/past problem. What I suggest is to copy the code in a editor, save it there and then copy the code from editor in the theme ads filed. Also, the method you mentioned should be working (testing something or letting some empty space).
I also notice our developers to check this situation, maybe it is something related to focus or save the pasted information in the ads filed.
Thank you!
Hi msalina10, the Newspaper theme do not use the WordPress customizer editor, it use the tagDiv Composer and theme panel options. In this case you have a standard template that can be edited using the theme panel settings to add/remove elements, and that element can be removed using this option – https://i.imgur.com/yELqXZZ.png
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi consumerista, the title elements is not set on Grids, only on Flex blocks, but this is not a problem, because the block title element exists as individual and you can drag it in the place you need it – https://i.imgur.com/Y70cADu.png – https://i.imgur.com/MLqsaLC.jpg
Thank you!

Hello,
Unfortunately, there is not an option for this in our theme, but, it can be use the option from the WordPress- https://i.imgur.com/JU2MB8O.png other option will be using a custom code in functions.php file.
Thank you!
Hi digitalrecordtv, thank you for contacting us. I just checked the website and I no longer see this to have this problem now on your website.
Thank you!
Hi PKramik, normally the theme do not have an option to set the language per device, however, this depends on the template you are using, this can be made with text in a different language. Our Newspaper theme provides for mobile 3 version, the responsive version, the mobile page template (this can be a different page/template made with tagDiv Composer) and the mobile page template (a simple layout for mobile).
Thank you!
Hi raghunadh,
Can you please let us know if the problem is only for one demo or is happening for all of them? If is only for a specific demo, it is possible to need to install first a plugin, for example for Momentum demo you need to install first from Newspaper > plugins the Op-tin builder plugin, after that the problem should be resolved.
Also, please make sure that the theme requirements are all set – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thank you!
Hi NSN India, the suggestion with the mega menu option was usefully for other clients, in your case the menu is ok, but you need to improve the logo, right now I se that this do not have set a width and height – https://i.imgur.com/nJCp7pX.png for this all that needs is to set the logo image with tagDiv Composer – https://i.imgur.com/DSIw8cL.png – https://i.imgur.com/vVypb1J.png
For revolution slider what you can do is to use those guides:
– https://www.sliderrevolution.com/tutorials/optimizing-load-speed-and-performance/
Also, what I recommend is to remove the youtube video section from the bottom of the homepage, this should also improve the page speed.
Unfortunate, for the save options button there is no option to change it from how it is now. The dropdown was added because the main save button was saved automatically all 3 templates (header, content and footer) and that was why the option to save only a specific zone was added. I’m not sure, but I think it can be made a custom code to remove the save header and footer.
Thank you!
Hi,
The tagDiv Composer should be displayed in 3 places, please check if you can access it from a differently place – https://i.imgur.com/RxlAy5z.png – https://i.imgur.com/A7shj0s.png – https://i.imgur.com/xwFtFUd.jpg
Let me know the results!
Thanks
Hi Christian, I think that you are using the Newspaper theme with a single post template, if is so, then you can edit the single post template with tagDiv Composer and you can set the necessary elements.
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes, that’s right, the faster it is, the better will be!
now these values are not only caused by the theme, there are also plugins and extra resources that cause problems, but most of the time they can be solved with WP Rocket and CDN.
The thing is that it is quite hard to adjust everything , but it is not impossible 😀
First it will be need to get the best settings on WP Rocket for your website, I will suggest to try the settings from those articles (if you haven’t tried them already):
– https://www.andraware.com/wp-rocket-for-newspaper-theme/
– https://www.xtechkr.com/optimize-newspaper-theme/
What else can be done is to reduce the number of elements on the page to reduce the DOM.
I hope this will help.
Sure, please contact us at contact@tagdiv.com, also, please include the link of this topic to can identify you.
Thank you!
Hi thiagopaiva, I see that on desktop the INP is ok – https://i.imgur.com/QUur7EE.png there seems to be at limit on mobile version – https://i.imgur.com/NGuEN6V.png this should be under 200 to be green. What needs to be done on mobile to to try to reduce a little more the DOM size to be under 800, also you can try to disable the sicky header on mobile and make the header row sticky to the top – https://i.imgur.com/tThAr3P.png – https://i.imgur.com/pY9nZNJ.png
I hope this will help you!
Hi simchris, thank you for sharing with our community this tip!
