Yes, you can display/hide the date but not for category, these settings need to be apply on modules (this is working only on flex elements ->https://i.imgur.com/1Hm64FA.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/bK9X6Q2.png), to achieve this on category you need to use a custom css.

There is no need to download any Gutenberg plugin, you need to use the one provide by WordPress, just make sure that you are using the latest version of theme and WordPress, also please note that if you are using WP Bakery is not recommended to use tagDiv Cloud Library, you need to choose one of them.

If the problem persist, please set this code in functions.php -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/functions.php

This is a short update about this problem.

Our developers just checked this “problem” and I think that you get a similar message like this one -> https://www.screencast.com/t/FDhhNa1xo6q indeed there was a problem in previous version, but this was fixed in Newspaper v10.3.4 -> https://i.imgur.com/l3PJwIk.png -> https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609 and we are not aware about other problems with our last version of theme. Also after more investigations and research we found that JetPack still display this message -> https://jetpack.com/features/security/library/newspaper-theme/ even if the bug was fixed -> https://wpvulndb.com/vulnerabilities/10253 we send an email to JetPack developers about this problem, maybe they forgot to check the latest version or if there are other vulnerability they will inform us and our developers will fix it.

What is the difference between article and post? this is the same thing (article and post), the difference comes when you say “post template”, this is the design that will apply on posts/articles. So the post template style is referring to post layout, the ads will be add on the post template and the article ads is referring to ads that will be displaying inside the post/article ( https://i.imgur.com/kzfiH6p.png ).

I think that this is a plugin conflict between tagDiv Cloud Library and WPBakery, you can use only one of them, you should decide which one you want to use, we recommend to use the tagDiv Cloud Library with tagDiv Composer these are the theme plugins.
Please deactivate the WPBakery and check the results!

If the sidebar is not apply on your posts, that is because you are using a single post template from tagDiv Cloud library, this can be edited using tagDiv Composer. 1. If you are referring to featured image that should appear on social share, then please use Yoast SEO and enable the open graph meta data -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/facebook-share/

2. Indeed using mobile theme plugin the sidebar will be remove, that is because the mobile theme plugin is a separate theme only for mobile versions.
But you can use the responsive version of Newspaper theme and the sidebar will be display (will not be display as in desktop in the right or left because on mobile the width is smaller, it will be display at the bottom of the main content).

As I can see, you have set as footer a cloud footer template from tagDiv Cloud Library, this can be edited from a page, for example, you can edit the homepage, click on edit with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/uweNRrc.jpg after that go down to the footer end edit it how you want (now you can customize the the whole web-page from fronted).

Also is possible that your website to had this problem before and was indexed by google and now until it will re index your website you’ll get that version.

If you are using the social counter, youtube videos or Instagram, make sure that you set in theme panel the api key -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/instagram-widget/ also for YouTube you need to use an api key too -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/youtube-api-key/ after that the social counter should work -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
Also if you are using cache plugin, you need to clear all cache change the ids on counter for example on “envato” check the results and set back your social accounts.
