Hi,

It seems that you have deeply customized the theme and there is no quick solution for this. There are custom settings set on some of the elements of the theme, and custom classes – https://www.screencast.com/t/ZYTUfI1Ctnv You must go over and check these customizations, where you have made them (theme panel or in the theme files) Or if you did not make those changes maybe a plugin could be the cause, so please try to disable all the plugins except Visual composer and the mobile theme, clear cache, purge cdn files and see if the problem is still there. A new theme install should fix this also, just delete the theme and install it again only using the required plugins that come bundled with the theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

Thanks

Hi,

The theme does not send confirmation emails, it uses the default implementation of wordpress regarding the login functionality. If you use your server to send the confirmation emails, please contact your host, or if you use a plugin to send emails to users, please check the plugin settings and configuration. The theme has no control over the emails.

Thanks

Hi,

The recipes demo uses header style 11 – https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/ that displays the logo on full size. The header styles that have this property, as to display a full width logo are header styles 9,10 or 11. More information here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/ Also it could be mentioned that when you set a background color or image, the site transforms into the boxed version – https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/

Hi,

This could be caused by a plugin or plugin conflict, so try as a test to disable all the plugins except Visual composer, clear your cache and purge cdn files, then check to see if the search is working. If the problem is not there anymore, enable the plugins one at a time to identify the one that is most likely causing this issue.

Hi,

You could use the code I provided below with this result – https://www.screencast.com/t/ywooBq9D7TgT They are now grouped as you mentioned. You must enter this code in Theme panel->Custom Css

.field_5 .option-label {
float:left;
width: 25%!important;
}

Also I will edit your reply and remove the login information you provided for privacy, as this is a forum so other users could use that information.
Thanks

Hi,

I believe that plugin replaces the default comment system in the theme. It would not be easy to change the comment section position since the comments always appear at the end of the post structure. If you want to implement something like this as to make the comments part of the post structure, I suggest hiring a developer/freelancer to help you, because this could prove to be difficult and we can not provide custom work at the moment.

Thank you for understanding!

Hi,

Please use the mobile editor to create your pages on mobile – https://www.screencast.com/t/kkPfL3e15AKk Insert your content there so it will display on mobile pages. If you have the mobile theme activated, the mobile editor should appear in the same page edit screen at the bottom. More information about this here in this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thanks

Hi,

You do not have to worry about the Visual composer activation request – https://www.screencast.com/t/IXcTb36k since it is a required plugin for the theme, provided in the theme package, which you can install and use without limitations. Here is a guide to get you started using Visual composer if you would like to read – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/

Hi,

On blocks and modules the theme will display the posts main category as tag. If you choose a primary category on a post it’s tag will be displayed there, but if a post has multiple categories the first category will be displayed. More information here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/primary-category/ and here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/category-tag-on-modulesblocks/

Thanks

Hi,

You could hide them with css, based on the category used. Like in this example – https://www.screencast.com/t/1cADiwjt7S where a display none property is set for the breadcrumbs – https://www.screencast.com/t/waXoxpJ87QOl and the footer – https://www.screencast.com/t/Int2TvUaxH As for the comment section, the default category pages do not have this, so maybe you should try removing it from your custom category file. If this is not what you meant please provide more details and a link to your site if possible.

Hi,

Then just use the a tag for the hyperlinks in the code provided above. Also if you want them to display like this only in the post content for example, just add the post content class before the a tag, or identify the classes used with your browser inspector – https://www.screencast.com/t/tNLy0UcHxhttps://www.screencast.com/t/Pe8IdPqGZl In the link I provided above you can see the different states of the links – https://www.screencast.com/t/dBCnvHaEgV5 Here is a tutorial about using the browser inspector to create custom code – https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/ and add in in Theme panel->Custom css

Hi,

Sorry for misunderstanding, this is where the custom html code is processed and inserted in the page – https://www.screencast.com/t/kQJ4jdptAi and you can make your changes there if you want to remove the div tag.

Thanks

Simion C.

Hi,

Most likely you can do that by changing the page structure, depending if you use a widgetised sidebar – https://www.screencast.com/t/RC0gDe4N or a split row sidebar like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/OE6MYlzVRxW1 Or if you meant the sidebar on the latest articles section, you can change or remove it here – https://www.screencast.com/t/KlkQbOr4Lm

Hi,

Please check the status of your speed booster plugin – https://www.screencast.com/t/ty1sRky6 Please note that speed booster is an optional plugin, and only works with the tested plugins. If you have other plugins installed it will be disabled. Please follow this work around method provided here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/speed-booster-not-compatible-with-vaultpress/ to make it work with other plugins. After these changes check to see if speed booster is active in theme system status, clear your cache, purge cdn files and test the site again. Also take in account that some plugins can have a negative impact on page speed, so try to use as few as possible, or uninstall the unnecessary ones. Here you can see how some of your plugins and ads are affecting page speed – https://www.screencast.com/t/uVNcHZlstdKp delaying the loading of the site.

Hi,

If you mean the mega menu feature, that was created for and works only on desktop. The mobile theme has a simple menu with drop down capabilities, and was designed for speed and the best performance on mobile – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ Maybe other users have different implementations or customization and are willing to share them.

Hi,

If you are afraid you might accidentally uninstall the demo, an alternative would be to use one of the default predefined homepage templates – https://www.screencast.com/t/zQ4pByWqsP – and take it from there, or you could just create your own pages using Visual composer elements the way you want. I believe that only an administrator role has access to making any theme changes, and there is also a prompt asking if you want to uninstall the demo – https://www.screencast.com/t/BqIypPWO9M so it is not a one click mistake.

Hi,

That is referring to the comment count on the respective posts, it is not a view counter – https://www.screencast.com/t/4IUxySmEP If it is showing zero it means that the post has zero comments.

Hi,

Please make sure all the elements are enabled in Visual composer settings – https://www.screencast.com/t/rdwVirs2aG3y and try again.

Hi,

That is the top bar menu and can be configured just like any other menu, in Appearance->Menus – https://www.screencast.com/t/QuqIcmS57Wv Also you can further configure it as explained in this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/top-bar-templates/

Hi,

It seems that you have not minified all the code in the theme’s style.css file – https://www.screencast.com/t/Ty63DWwQd Maybe try again by selecting all the code and use a css minification tool – http://cssminifier.com/ then paste all the resulted code in the style file. You could also check maybe there is a cache on the server side and try to clear that too.

Thanks

Hi,

If none of the solutions you tried works and you ruled out a plugin being the possible cause for this, please check if gd library is enabled on the server as it is required for the image processing, so contact you hosting provider and ask them about this. If that is the case and a solution is provided in that regard, then try and use the regenerate thumbnails tool and also clear your cache.

Thanks

Hi,

That is a parallax image, you can modify it by opening your page in Visual composer, then at the top of the page structure there should be a row – https://www.screencast.com/t/tBWNvhnB9BT with a parallax image set to it – https://www.screencast.com/t/UwcxTkoSZ and you can change it from the row settings.
Those dashed borders between blocks – https://www.screencast.com/t/WMpCoHUdg are separator elements and you can change them like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/F2OZwEdEtl or just remove them.

Thanks

Hi,

It is possible but it depends where and to what you want it to apply. If those are simple paragraphs you can use some thing like this

p {
border-bottom: 3px solid red;
}
p:hover {
background-color: red;
color: white;
}

Result without hover – https://www.screencast.com/t/u4owcmF778
Result on hover – https://www.screencast.com/t/6ne2qCnk
You can find more about the hover selector here – https://www.w3schools.com/csSref/sel_hover.asp

Hi,

I assume maybe you are talking about the google tag manager plugin. Please note that no such plugin was tested with the theme and could not work properly, or it could interfere with the theme functionality with unexpected results. Please correct me if I misunderstand what you meant and provide more details.
