This is done through html. You will have to create an image and add a link to it using html 5. This is relatively easy. Here is an example of a code you can personalize:

If you do not like the 1100px width, you can change it any time in the code I provided. It was just an example.

2. You can filter the posts displayed on that block using an author Id or multiple Id’s

I have inspected your website and I saw that your sidebars used for pages and post pages are the same. You can try to make your modifications in these files. Please note that this is needed by the theme as most icons are loaded as a font, for example the icons in the theme panel, the icons for social networks etc. You should consider making a backup in case something goes wrong.

2. Please provide a link to your website pointing to the image problems, so we can inspect it and try to give you a solution. The images inside the post content should display as they are limited only by the theme width.

3. Most of the solutions I found are suggesting to use a plugin for this. You could try a plugin with this capability and see if it works for you, and it is suited for your project. I can not make any recommendations in this matter because we have not made any tests regarding this.

The ad container will still be there even if you do not use a header ad. Please use a header style that shows the full logo for example headers style 9, 10 or 11
As for the line, it is an image and the color cannot be changed. Sorry.
