I am a bit confused though –

Built into the Visual Composer is the tool Post Grid –

It says you can pick from Posts or Pages –

I selected posts and was able to create this:

However, if I select Page -I thought the same thing would work.

Is there something that between the Visual Composer coding and Newspaper 6 coding that disables the pages option from working?

I understand,
I need to modify for example, a lot of images that open pdf files, and need to open a new page and not in it. The problem is that there are too many to manually solve it (with “little time”)
for this reason it would have been ideal to change any part of the code to change this once.

I understand that last two comes from plugin.

Usually the size of a feature image from post can’t be the same as the size of featured image used on modules. The theme uses thumbs to keep the page size as low as possible. For example the same a featured image displayed on td_module_mx6 will have a 238x138px size: http://screencast.com/t/QYUnc0y5PUR and when is displayed inside post content, default template in this case, the size is: 640x426px: http://screencast.com/t/P3ffwJEZ2Us Basicaly from the original image the theme crops different thumbs which are used in different modules and blocks.
The theme uses the same thumb for mobile version but in many cases the surface which must be covered it’s bigger then the thumb size. For example in this situation the featured image it’s smaller then the surface which must be covered and because it’s stretched by css its quality it’s a bit lower: http://screencast.com/t/BvRx8GzjlALm That usually depends by mobile device size.

For example, I have a long title at this moment and it can´t be displayed correctly on mobile due to its size.

Thanks for the quick response. Also, is there a way to add “page <number> of <number>” (example: page 4 of 5) above the “next” and “previous” buttons?

I mean to say , Can we have one fix spot for Hollywood in the 1st Row Top (currently 3 random video is showing) &amp; 2 Row Can we have the 4th spot fixed for Hollywood

As @Chris said you will need some custom code to exclude the posts from a child category to appear on main category page.

function exclude_categories() {
	$excluded = array( 'categoy_id' );
	if (is_category(parent_category)){
		set_query_var( 'category__not_in', $excluded );
	}
}
add_filter( 'pre_get_posts', 'exclude_categories' );

You need to replace the categoy_id with the id of the category which you want to exclude and also replace the parent_category with the id of the parent category like in this example: http://screencast.com/t/TaWyHKFniVI To get the category id follow this link: http://screencast.com/t/rs9qiFg9 You have to place your code in functions.php file.
