I’m trying to change the above and below aritcle facebook and twitter from share to follow.
I was successful with facebook but twitter is giving me an issue. here is what I have so far.

It’s working perfectly in the share box but below that it adds like 5 other twitter follows… Does anyone know what’s going on here?
Well, I just recently checked about the project – “Accelerated Mobile Pages” AMP HTML an open source project from Google. And https://www.ampproject.org/ this being the official site.. loads extremely fast! That runs on AMP.
However, I’m afraid I don’t know the technicalities of it, whether its support would come with a WordPress update or theme developers would support it. But, still I wanted you to take a look at it! If it could be implement in this theme! This theme would be undefeatable (already is) but would be more 😀
I am trying to embed a video from facebook on a Post with default template. I used the code below. But the post does not show the video. In stead it shows the following text in blockquote display.

Hi, I want to add a block with infinit scroll in footer section only in article page below section. If you visit mashable.com/2014/10/09/google-nexus-shamu-report this page you will see an auto infinit scroll section bellow article in the footer area. I like to achieve similar feature (screenshoot) . You told that it can be done by adding a do_shortcode function.
But as i am not a techy guy can help me providing screenshot & exact code (for block 3 with latest articles) that i can paste. Please help.

after updating to v6 my Facebook like button is cut off, probably because the text on the button is Dutch and a bit longer than in English. Any way to fix this (by me)?

Is there any possibility to use the “other non-responsive ads” with google adsense. For example… On mobile I would like to display an adsense code but on desktop I would like to display an amazon affiliate widget but it seems adsense takes over no matter what.
Maybe a newbie question, but how can you include a photo (like the camel) in this theme?

I am trying to edit pages and posts with visual composer, but when i try to edit a text block, it doesn’t work. The content itself doesn’t show up, and all I can do is hit ‘close’ or ‘save changes’, as shown.

I assume that there is a conflict somewhere but I can’t find it so far. I have done the usual uninstall/re-install, deactivate all plugins and reactivate them one-by-one, etc. I am running the latest version of VC from this week’s Newsmag update (2.2.1)

Please make sure you use the latest version of the theme and the latest version of the social counter

If you already use the latest version, please make sure the correct social id is typed in the social counter settings: http://screencast.com/t/PTNnG6afCxI
You can also try to insert a different ID to see if followers are pulled. (for example ‘cocacola’)
Your Facebook and Twitter pages need to be public. If they are not, the plugin won’t be able to access your followers.
If all these conditions are met, you can try one more thing. Disable all your plugins except visual composer and see if it’s not a conflicting plugin that causes the issue.

As a temporary solution remove the disable option-author of the archive function redirects in /plugins/wordpress-seo/frontend/class-frontend.php. Leaving it like this:function archive_redirect() {

Hm..
might be plugin conflict, permalinks issue; or double check the author “name” has no tildes or language based characters in it … check the “user” settings and look at the username, display name, and check for odd characters, try changing the “display name” …. try resaving the username/account.
Make sure the social and ad systems are not causing redirect issues, which I’ve seen before due to too many things loading on page causing conflict (check F12/console in Chrome, for example …).
Check your htaccess file to make sure there are no leftover “rules” from a prior theme causing issues or redirects.
Not sure any of that will help, but place to start! 🙂

Hi
before doing auto-updates, good idea to download and review the changelog. For the latest update, for example, the only thing that changed was update to visual composer for a security patch and so you didn’t need to update the “whole theme,” and just update the plugin.
Manual install is still always “safest” way to go as the Envato thing sometimes just simply does not work and I totally abandoned even trying to use it, for exactly the issue you are now facing!
Just an opinion, food for thought.

I used this theme to create a new site on amazon ec2- bitnami wordpress multisite stack-
I imported my old forum (about 3000 users and 10.000 post) from old site to my new site.

So, for esample – this user Drumma has 1790 response but the page of his replies is white..

Hey guys! To generate more views / clicks I want to add a preview site for Facebook/Twitter users. So they see a big preview for the article they clicked on and some smaller previews from my other articles. Her is a link so you know what I mean 😉

On our demo we use some extra classes to those row and we have added css code in style.css. So you could use the demo classes if you want:

The theme doesn’t have an option to display different types of ads on the site, for example the header ad will be displayed from the same spot on all pages and posts. If you want a different ad for homepage you need to add a condition in ads.php file like here: http://screencast.com/t/BqOhbFzqqpGS and insert the shortcode corresponding with the ad spotthat you want to use. To get the shortcode add an ad box into a blank page then switch in backend editor copy and paste this code: http://screencast.com/t/Kcqsjk9C7xbU inside do_shortcode function

As you can see on our demo no tagdiv blocks have this effect and you will need custom modifications for this, with a specific css for each module. Just the Big Grid blocks have a zoom effect.
You have to add this for each module with specific width and height(thumb size) and it is not so easy if you don’t have html/css experience. I provide an example how this works for module 10 – http://screencast.com/t/Gewgic8X5
