Hi, after upgrading to the latest version (10.4) Newspaper, when I insert an image in a post and enable the “lightbox”, some images load fine and others do not. This did not happen before.

In other occasions the “lightbox” option disables itself, causing the error I am talking about.

For example (see attached screenshot), it happens in the fourth picture in this post: https://www.leyendasdetoledo.com/monumentos-que-se-pueden-visitar-gratis-en-toledo/

I’ve noticed that in some cases the lightbox fails when a link is included in the caption…. If I remove the link, it works. In other images, the lightbox option is simply disabled, not being possible to activate it…

Any help?

I am seeing in my AMP version that the images are not aligned…

The Link to the Userpage ( nearby the Login Button) brings me to a userpage wich is not correct.

Whatever I changed in admin for theme settings, it won’t get saved for some reason. I get success message, but when I refresh the panel it doesn’t seem like it has been saved.

For example, I go to theme settings and I turn off the option to show the author wherever I have that option. After refreshing the site it still shows the author and when I open theme settings again, it still shows the option like it’s turned on – it’s showing the author.

Don’t know what to do. Can anybody help?

I am watching videos of your documentation tutorials but the videos do not match the Theme !

Is it the category or cloud templates, the sidebar or single-post page… Almost every video is out of date and does not match the Theme panel settings…

I am not able to find current informations about how to use the mobile theme and amp correct. Nothing works…

So sad to see such a good theme with such bad documentation. And in the forums i need to wait days for an answer because so many people can not handle the documentation 🙁

I really do not want to leave a bad review so kindly update your documentation as soon as possible!

Now mysite.com/tag redirects to a template sample page. But I want to see redirect to 404 page. How to redirect such unused on my site URLs as mysite.com/tag, mysite.com/category, mysite.com/tdb_templates/* etc. to 404 page? Via .htaccess or WP plugin? Then how to get a full list of such unused URLs? I don’t want users to see any sample page on my site.

Hi – I’d like to change my default post template. I’m currently using Style 7 from the theme panel. I started trying to use the cloud templates but way too many errors and confusing – esp with fonts – they never work. Can I import Style 7 as a start to the cloud library and make adjustments from there?

Also, when making changes, how can we use a sample post as a test? The way I’ve been doing it, is actually changing a live post to the new template, so I can see how it looks because the composer is blank. Is there a better way to see what the template will look like with my actual content?

Since I have updated to version 10.4, I have inserted the Ads codes with adsense but it shows an incorrect format (random size, not the indicated one).

Also, if for example in the header I hide ads for the mobile version, it continues to show them the same, so that does not work in the new version.

Could it be a bug of the new update?

In the example preview, the 3 posts in the slider and the 3 posts below in the Flex Block are the same stories. But on my page, there are different posts in the slider and the Flex Block. We are using Newspaper 10.4, tagDiv Composer 2.8.

We have integrated other social platform with wordpress. Integration plugin hooks in with new comment number calculation method with:
add_filter( ‘get_comments_number’, array( $someobject, ‘somemethod’ ) );

Logic is simple: sum of WP comments and other social media platform comments (via APIs).

Newspaper correctly displays comments number when in the_loop (home page for example) or in the_post (single post).

But when the home page section is built using block (template: global header template) it is only showing number of WP comments (so doesnt count comments from other platform).

Looks like the hook is not working in this block?

Please advise how can this be fixed or what should be checked?
