Look I went to the website ryte.com to rate my website and there is one of many that I don’t know why it doesn’t load, it’s the description of the home page, I attach everything I’ve done.

the other problem is that for example the Sitemap.xml does not load me even having it in the Robots.txt and the Google Analytics says that neither and where are you telling me they have to go, I attach screenshots.

Thanks. I guess I’ll make up some custom category pages rather than use the auto-generated ones.

Next… I think this is an Adsense question, not one relating to the theme, but just in case….

My home page has 4 ad spots
Header
Sidebar
Custom (in between blocks)
Footer (turned off for desktop)

But ads are only showing in two of them. Even on mobile.

The custom block DOES show an ad if I leave it on AUTO, but the ad comes out square on desktop. NO idea why. If I specify a horizontal banner size, it comes up blank.

I’ll turn on the footer again on desktop, so all 4 are active. Can you look at BangkokHerald.com? The custom ad spot is above the bottom block (Pattaya &amp; Phuket). On my screen, it’s blank.

Perhaps Adsense thinks I have too many blocks? I thought 3 were permissable but your theme has 4, so….

Thanks for getting back to me again.

The only caching plugin I am using is super cache, I have ensured I am using all the recommended settings.

I have disabled rocket loader, I will give it a few days and see what happens.

I’m sorry but you didn’t answer to the problem (I am think is a bug).

Your example, is a custom category layout (“CATEGORY CLOUD LIBRARY TEMPLATE”–>”Theme Templates”), where seleccted “Gid 2” in “CATEGORY TOP POSTS STYLE”.
With that, I confirm that works.

But to the case reported, I follow the instructions, but I still have the same situation.
That is, the thumb for no thumb is not loaded.
With default category page layout, where have default “Category Grid 2”, the articles without feature image don’t show the custom no-thumb.

It can be concluded that it does not support, the question now is, is it a bug, will it be fixed?
if yes, when?

I received a mail day before yesterday from Envato: [ThemeForest] Update available for ‘Newspaper’

I have read at least three tickets raised by the members that after updating their Newspaper theme their sites have been badly messed up. So far these tickets have not been responded. So, I am very apprehensive whether to update the Newspaper theme or wait for few days till those tickets are responded.

If you are using Official AMP Plugin and Newspaper Mobile Theme, Go to Theme panel -> Mobile Theme -> AMP Ads -> paste the second code in “ADSENSE AUTO ADS FOR AMP” field.

No need to add the first code as it activates automatically.

Glue for Yoast not needed actually. This is what the developer says.

“The Yoast SEO AMP plugin is no longer needed. Through good collaboration with Google the functionality of this plugin is now part of both Yoast SEO and the official AMP plugin. If you still have this plugin running we’d suggest updating both the Yoast SEO and AMP plugins and removing the glue plugin.”
