Follow the guidelines in this link to the newspaper – however my theme is newsmag. One problematic situation is that I was no longer using the theme’s mobile plugin and I need to enable it. How to solve this problem please?

Calin, good night. At times, our website returns to the mobile version, completely disrupting Google’s indexing.
The situation is intermittent – when I save https://imgur.com/a/ZxpzfcR the AMP again it works normally again. How to resolve this issue definitively – I cannot use reader mode as it is not recommended and would downgrade our site. I’m no longer using the mobile theme plugin.

Good evening,
I purchased and installed a second license of the newspaper 12 theme.
when I enter an article and scroll, there is a very serious scrolling error. Text and various graphic elements overlap, preventing correct display.

example:https://www.debugliesintel.com/bridging-the-command-gap-revolutionizing-u-s-european-command-for-modern-warfare/

you can check by scrolling down the article and then scrolling up… the writing and lines overlap… impossible to use!!!!

I await your quick solution or theme update

Hello!

Do you have an example? So I can better understand your issue and help you efficiently.
A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, and send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link; paste it here.

Thank you!

Menu bug - topic
#0

I am experiencing a bug with the navigation menu on my website. When I add a category to the menu and it becomes a sub-menu, it stops working. You can check it yourself by visiting my website: https://how2play.it/.

For example, try clicking on the “Piattaforme” menu. The issue occurs only when I am not logged in. If I am logged in, the menu works correctly.

Could you please investigate this issue? Let me know if you need any additional information.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

I’m working my way towards the problem. The ‘Sample Field’ is missing in the jobs, but I don’t currently see the company name there. How do I get the company name in there with the link to the company? If I create an ACF field, there is only a static text. I think this is my missing link between a CPT job and the corresponding company

Hello!

If you access the company from here: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_job_hunt_pro/tdcpt_companies/fusion-technologies/
and apply the flex block builder, for example, with a custom module with these settings: https://app.screencast.com/OrrI3dFicqQI5
Then you should get a job at your current company. It is like a category, but CPT.
Is this what you need to achieve or not?

Thank you!

Hello!

You shouldn’t use a filter, but specify the post type from what to search for example:
https://app.screencast.com/uAz0rN7jWG5b4 -> https://app.screencast.com/yYEin1pIDSVyI

Thank you!

Hello Alexandros!

You need to install the tagdiv Shop and WooCommerce plugins. No more extra plugins.
Can you please provide an example? So I can check the issue.

Thank you!

Unfortunately that isn’t possible to do with settings. The Newsmag theme headers are predefined, the elements from inside the header can’t be moved around.

You could however use some CSS to do it. For example something like this would work https://prnt.sc/7GO0P5IynhM8 Here is the code for it if you would like to give it a try https://pastebin.com/h7tQNQFS it can be entered in the theme custom CSS https://prnt.sc/Zy3weqy2CyTE

Hello,

I’m sorry to inform you, but this code is not from our theme. What we kindly ask you to do is to download the latest version from ThemeForest, install it, and also verify these steps.
You could consider reinstalling the WordPress version, and checking for this plugin wp-zexit.php. It might be wise to inspect via FTP if it doesn’t appear in the WordPress -> Plugins. Additionally, using Wordfence to scan the website and remove unknown users would be prudent.
Change admin passwords and delete admin accounts you are not familiar with;
– Delete any weird/unknown plugins;
– Delete the weird/unknown themes;
– Clean unfamiliar Theme Panel injected code (example – https://i.imgur.com/4q70kCv.png);
– Clean WordPress files (example – https://i.imgur.com/stJCqiK.png)
Please block /wp-json/tdw/save_css
If an attacker wants to target this URL /wp-json/tdw/save_css they can do so. Even if the website uses a different theme, the attacker can still try that URL. We could add an option to be able to enable/disable the Live CSS, it will be considered. But for now in order to remove it this can only be done with a modification to the composer plugin. I think that all that removing it requires is to comment this line of code – https://prnt.sc/RtwvL5Nc4ikR -> https://prnt.sc/ymZmhdUfp57U But as I mentioned, the attacker can still try to access the URL.

Thank you!

Hello,

Please check the WordPress wp-memory limit and set it to 256M. If it’s still not working, please double the limit and review the other settings in our guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/. Also, ensure that you are using SSL and have sufficient bandwidth. Our server provides a bandwidth of 1GB/s, while my home connection is 500MB/s. If your bandwidth is low, you may only be able to access certain parts of the cloud. This can be done from the frontend, for example, when viewing a post: https://i.imgur.com/4G74M7F.jpg, from tagDiv Composer: https://i.imgur.com/2F6MhfI.png, or through the backend: https://www.screencast.com/t/wekHmc7kJ8J.

amp - reply

Hello,

AMP is deprecated as of January 2023-> https://developer.bigcommerce.com/docs/storefront/wordpress/platform-integration/enabling-amp so we don’t longer recommend it.
Please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/

The sample page at https://borneobulletin.com.bn/timeago/ demonstrates the ‘time ago’ functionality and the custom date format ‘F j, Y, g:i a.’ However, the ‘time ago’ value appears incorrect when applied in Module Templates, while it works correctly in other elements like Flex Block 1.

Could there be any settings or configurations I might have overlooked?

AMP was abandoned by Google almost 2 years go.
No reason to use it anymore, nor should you.

Ideally, optimize your desktop version to “drop down” to mobile view with smart optimized responsive layouts.

Hi everyone. With AMP it’s not clear to me how it works.
I read these two official articles
https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

I did everything indicated and the conclusions are:

When I activate official AMP for WP. In the WordPress test page it gives me 7 problems, to eliminate them I have to delete some plugins (yoast seo, tagDiv composer etc..), when I delete them the site does not go in mobile version.

When I activate tagDiv Mobile Theme, it’s not great.

When I activate both (tagDiv Mobile Theme + Official AMP for WP) it’s as if I had activated only tagDiv Mobile Theme, the result is not great.

The site is the following https://arteincartongesso.com/

Wait for a good soul who clarifies AP;. Thanks

I’ve got a second license and launched a new website lincolnshirewire.com

It’s almost the same as the site I’ve operated on Newspaper for ten years

But this time I decided to design a mobile home page and mobile single post template using TD Composer mobile to be different from desktop versions.

I don’t use AMP plugin or Mobile Plugin on the site

The confusion is that although I designed the header and it’s settings are set to global – the page sometimes appears with the header being the one from the desktop TDC pane from the mobile viewport setting ( in this case blank in that viewport ) and full designed in the desktop viewport.

Other times it’s correct and is from the separate templates.

I set up WP Super Cache as instructed – and have also tried Litespeed Cache which the other site operates with and is a hosting recommendation.

When no cache plugin is activated at all the problem resolves and the correct page shows – either cache plugin activated causes the problem.

It’s early days for the site so no cache is fine now – but how can I change cache settings to fix it

Hello,

I have prepared a news upload for a category in which I have added the “Load More” button, when doing so an animation appears. (I attach an image so you can see what I mean).
Is it possible to remove this animation in some way?

Example

Thank you,

Hi, I’m using the Momentum theme, and I’ve noticed that the order of elements on my page appears differently on desktop and mobile. For example, on this page https://barbarabueno.com/education/, the sections are displayed in a specific order on desktop, but the layout changes on mobile, which makes the page inconsistent.

On desktop, the sections appear in the intended order:

Bachelor of Communication
Web Development Course
Travel Agency Technical Director Course
Tour Leader Course

However, on mobile, the order changes unexpectedly:

Web Development Course
Bachelor of Communication
Travel Agency Technical Director Course
Tour Leader Course

I’m looking for a way to ensure that the order remains consistent across desktop and mobile without rebuilding the page. Is there a setting in the TagDiv Composer to fix this, or do I need to use custom CSS?

Thank you for your assistance!

Hello,

we already have setup the website: https://www.kynigesia.gr/ with theme Current demo installed: Default PRO
We are in the process of installing a woo commerce eshop but its seems we have an issue with the current setup and there is no eshop css support eg eshop categories / products https://www.kynigesia.gr/shop/

As we understand we must use a theme with eshop support. We have taken a full backup in localhost wamp to further testing but we cannot install another theme: Your license key is not assigned on this website. Please go to the “My License” management panel and assign it to enjoy the full benefits of your theme. (local url https://localhost/kynigesia).

Can you please advise on how to proceed from now on.
Our goal is not to change the template and design as you understand and or make minimal changes to existing site / design while also supporting the new eshop design.

Hi,

We are sorry to hear that.

All the data related to the optin plugin is kept in the website database, in these tables https://prnt.sc/TISVB2QlILRO If the database is migrated along with the website, the tables will be there as well.

Not sure how you did it, or if there perhaps was a problem when migrating the website, but a good way to to do it is using the duplicator plugin if, possible. It moves everything in the new location, perfectly.

if you still have the old database, then you could move the respective tables. With phpmyadmin for example:
Select them all https://prnt.sc/R1P-8IW7JsvN
Export them https://prnt.sc/fXHTSWXxJie2
Import them on the new website.
As a note, please remove the current tables from the new website, if you already installed the plugin there. So the import will add the tables from the initial website.

Or maybe it could be done using other methods. The important thing is that the tables are moved, everything should be available on the new website as it was on the old website. I made a quick test now and moved my optin data from one install to another, using the method I described, it worked perfectly fine.

Thank you!

Hello,

This is a very old prebuilt website, created using standard templates, and the design was made in the theme files, for example, in this file: td-composer\legacy\Newspaper\includes\demos\retro\demo_style.less https://i.imgur.com/z7muSl9.png . What I recommend is to create your own cloud templates, and then you’ll be able to edit everything with TagDiv Composer.
You can find the share option in Theme Panel -> Social Share -> https://i.imgur.com/mO3OHOt.png
To add the icon to the menu please check this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-add-icons-in-menu/

But you still haven’t answered regarding your refund request. Do you still want the theme or should we cancel the refund request?

Thank you!

Hi Anamaria

No the issue is still there. It’s on the homepage & the most read panel on the right should stick until the ad comes into frame.

Can you check again please

Thanks
