there is no option to disable featured image in page’s amp version.

I want to use post template 1, however when I use vertically oriented featured images for posts, they’re too large and leave white space to the right. An example of this:

By using the following code, I can make the width as I want to, but if I set the height, it scales the image down and squishes it, which I don’t want:

Hello, I’m happy using NewsMag theme now. However, as Google pushing content creator to adopt the AMP version of the website, I’m trying to enable the AMP page to my site. I’m using tagDiv AMP plugin from the theme’s directory but I can’t see the result.

Basically the shortcodes look like this (I am listing some examples here):

where ‘author-syed-balkhi’ is the slug of the inserted content, 128 is the ID (optional, which one you want to use), and ‘display’ defines other options (what part of the content you want to insert, or use a template that handles which parts of the inserted post you want to display and how).

I don’t to mess up with extra CSS code and using iframe so I thought it would be a good idea to create a block which will show these articles. I want the block’s layout to be exactly the same as Block 1.

I went to Developer Info and read the instructions of creating a new block using a shortcode.
However, the example is simple. It doesn’t help me a lot.

Hi,
You need to use the mobile plugin that come with the theme version you are using, for example if you have Newspaper v9.1 the only mobile theme plugin that will work for you will be the one from that package.
So if you want you can update the theme to the last version 9.5 and use the mobile theme from the package that you have download or you check what version of newspaper you have and you send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and ask for mobile theme for your version of theme.
The WPBakery Page Builder plugin is a secondary builder in our theme, is your decision to use or not, we recommend tagDiv Composer , so if you are not using it you can delete it.

For the beginning, please check the following useful guide regarding possible causes of malfunction of TD Composer, from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/ Also, please check if you are using the page menu option, this error might appear. Also, if you are using something like this, please notice that’s a bug in theme in this case, and we will fix it in future updates.

1)By default, please notice that’s the order of them. So, if you need to make some changes over this section, you need to edit the loop single according to your post template used by you and make the following modification. 2)Yes, it’s possible if you will use such a custom CSS code for that. If you have the last version of the Newspaper (v9.5) then the empty page was removed, but you can sue it; If you require it, you can download it from here – http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/page-empty.zip
Place it in the main theme folder, upload it by FTP for example

Then select it for the pages you want. The footer will be removed and the header can be disabled

Firstly, loving the Newspaper theme and forum – awesome work!
Secondly, please ignore my ignorance if this is something simple I have overlooked but I haven’t found anything in the forums and I still can’t get it to work.
At the moment I am running the mobile theme as well as the desktop version and both are looking good. However, I have recently needed to focus on the speed of the website and as per the recommendations have installed WP Super Cache.
I followed the instructions provided to set up WP Super Cache for Newspaper and on the desktop there are no issues.
However, on the mobile version whenever I add a new post, the posts do not appear in a timely fashion e.g. 6+ hours.
On the desktop version, it is fine posts are updated automatically.
Just wondering what I may have overlooked and how I can fix this.

i updated Newspaper-Theme to 9.5 – and the slide works fine.
@custom field: i tried to check if value exist (https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/the_field/) as shown in the example http://prntscr.com/mqh9nz – that works in Article Display Wiew M2 (http://s752582646.online.de/category/magazin/new-business) but not by using Block 4 in TD Composer (http://s752582646.online.de/magazin). But i have to check if value exists. So what can i do?
