Did something changed regarding how the theme implements the Google Analytics or how tracking works?
My numbers went terribly low in the best 2 weeks. In order to do a “test”, I created a link via goo.gl to one of my posts and shared it on social media.
After one day, goo.gl showed over 250 people clicking on my link (thus opening my website), however, Google Analytics shows only 13 people accessed the website’s page.
That’s not a different of 10-20 users, but a difference of almost 200%.
(Yes, I took the “amp” page into consideration, there were 20 more there… however far away from the 250 goo.gl shows)
In the theme panel – I have added the google analytics code to “Analytics/JS Codes” section.
However there is also the provision in Plugin’s Settings – “AMP” with a section on “Analytics”. Do I need to add the google analytics code there as well?
I was looking for the option to hide the date in a block on my page. But why is the settings on the Theme Options page? This disables it everywhere. This should be an option on the specific block when generating it on a page.
For Example it should then generate per block:
[td_block_14 installed_post_types=”postnames” limit=”5″ sort=”alphabetical_order” ajax_pagination=”” showdate=”false”]
Hi Team,
I have inserted the code into Newspaper theme. However, the popover ad doesn’t show up at all. It seems that there is something conflicting with your theme. Could you kindly help to have a look on it? The code below is already inserted on my website NicoBros.com.
<script type=”text/javascript”>
amzn_assoc_ad_type = “link_enhancement_widget”;
amzn_assoc_tracking_id = “nicobros07-20”;
amzn_assoc_linkid = “f2858867897a4d90ae4139255acb63e8”;
amzn_assoc_placement = “”;
amzn_assoc_marketplace = “amazon”;
amzn_assoc_region = “US”;
</script>
<script src=”//ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?ServiceVersion=20070822&Operation=GetScript&ID=OneJS&WS=1&MarketPlace=US”></script>
Below is the related documentation for your reference. Thank you.

Dear sir. I am facing a problem. First i have created a post sample using cloud library single post format. Then i applied that post sample for all post through Theme panel. Upto these, everything is ok and working fine. But i see a problem when i go for sharing any content, it shows only one link for all content and that is the post sample link i have created earlier. Please see https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FjmGP0snbvxjrRXzhGZt5WTT6l_VPLUG/view?usp=drivesdk. I think now you will understand the problem. Can you please help in this matter?

Hello Rhonda,
Here is talking about an image added to a ROW which can be changed from TD Composer. Also, if you want to “enlarge it” you should use a stretch ROW option from there, like this example -> https://www.screencast.com/t/bsUKLasgTJ
Thanks.
Hello ashubais,
Sorry but the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to change the AMP Fonts. You should create your own CSS code for changing this. Check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Thanks for the message!
Hey,
I want to change the font and font size in AMP & the Mobile theme as well.
Please tell me the procedure.
Hi,
@tzabula All those errors are related to the ads you are using. AMP requires different ads
– https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/7183212?hl=en
These ads have to be inserted as specified
– https://www.screencast.com/t/vD0oBqCV
Thanks
Hey there
Have no experience with CSS but need to change image display. All images inside post content have padding on the left and right and I need to make them full-width. See the picture as example – https://imgur.com/a/1gYDIbq.
Any ideas?
Hi,
After selecting a template and importing it, it should open in the tagDiv composer
– https://www.screencast.com/t/3WbtXY7T
– https://www.screencast.com/t/idSuUv6494I
There you can make modifications to it if needed, or just save it. It will appear in the selection for the post for example and you can apply it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Hkf3mckPioc
What exactly is happening in your case, at which step is the problem?
Simion, hello!
I have the same problem with my site – wordofdecor.com
Here is the note from Google Search Console:
http://prntscr.com/jsfaeg
http://prntscr.com/jsfarp
http://prntscr.com/jsfb9x
I have the latest AMP plugin version – http://prntscr.com/jsff71
Here is the list of all installed plugins:
http://prntscr.com/jsfhp9
http://prntscr.com/jsfhxf
I tried to choose plugins comparable with Newspaper Theme – http://prntscr.com/jsfipg
What could be the reason for AMP errors?
Since newspaper 8 update the child theme conflicts with these plugins. Switching to the original theme the site displays correctly. Please advise what I should do.
The following plugins were disabled because they are incompatible with this version of Newspaper:
• tagDiv Composer
• tagDiv Social Counter
• tagDiv AMP
• tagDiv Mobile Theme
Hi,
1. Try reducing it with negative top and bottom margins values, for the row containing the HTML element
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ujiawwj2rw
Or do it with CSS in Theme panel->Advanced CSS phones section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/VrN6jNY0ZX2S
These are half the values, modify them as you want
.home .td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 16px;
}
.home .vc_raw_html {
margin-bottom: 16px;
}
To make it visible only on phones, hide the row on all other devices
– https://www.screencast.com/t/fKKYXiqEi0i
– https://www.screencast.com/t/C4nvRf6ejzlg
2. For start the font is bigger in that example, 19px vs 14px. The body font applies for those links. Try making it similar.
3. I tried the same, seems to work for me
– https://www.screencast.com/t/KkXKpCQjgFcE
I have once seen this before, it was caused by optimization plugins or render blocking implementations in relation to multi-purpose elements. If you use such plugins maybe you can disable theme temporarily to check, or if possible exclude the multi-purpose plugin or from any optimization.
If that is not possible the buttons may or other multi-purpose may not work properly, the button could be styled with some CSS. Check on the other website you have as well.
Thanks
Hi,
There are settings for most things, so if a setting is created for a customization, there would be no need to make it custom. For creating CSS code there is a guide you can read
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
This is useful when for example there is no setting for a modification you want to make, or the setting is general and you want something more specific.
I would mention that on contrary you should not worry yourself with the child theme from the beginning. Until you get more familiarized with the actual theme and it’s capabilities and structure there would be no reason to have one.
If in the future you should require one or we recommend you to create one for a specific reason, you can use it then.
Child themes require maintenance as well, so you will have to monitor theme updates and changelogs to keep it up to date.
Thanks
Hello Jessie,
For example, if you want to increase the icons from our demo “Animals” you should use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.
.td-animals .td-icons-animals {
font-size: 60px;
}
The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/OvLSBKMA
Note: This is just a simple example of our Animal News demo.
Thanks for your understanding!
Please check if you are you using the latest AMP plugin
– https://www.screencast.com/t/M7kbFZ8ZQ6ft
The errors are caused by the a few meta tags which use inline CSS
– https://www.screencast.com/t/NMucXndnhAJ
Are you using some custom implementation or plugin for extra meta for the posts?
I checked and these errors are not displayed in a default post on my end.
Thanks
Hello,
I would like to reduce the size of the texts displayed under the post images on this page:https://devenirbilinguetest.blog/vivre-a-letranger/?preview_id=3532&preview_nonce=8a271fb2c8&_thumbnail_id=-1&preview=true
Thanks for your help.
Hello,
In the second element of the following page https://devenirbilinguetest.blog/vivre-a-letranger/?preview_id=3532&preview_nonce=8a271fb2c8&_thumbnail_id=-1&preview=true
I would like to set up as a title (with the colored background), a category name. Also, I would like to set up on that same row the subcategories titles with hyperlinks.
Exactly like in this demo https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/, I want to set up the same category as in the yellow row “Don’t miss”. I would like to set up “All”, “Style hunter”, etc..
Thanks for your help
L.
Hello Catalin,
I’ve upgrade the theme to 8.8 (themeforest-5489609-newspaper-wordpress-theme.zip).
Upgrade WordPress to 4.6.9
Upgrade tagdiv composer
Upgrade system status parameters to max_input_vars = 5000
Issue still there.
Desactivate each plugin cumulative and event tagdiv composer and issue still there.
Don’t think it is related to any of these as it is js stuffs. Looking at the line in question and setInterval at line 313.
tdEvents.resize_event_medium_run&&(tdEvents.resize_event_medium_run=!1,tdSmartSidebar.td_events_resize(),tdCustomEvents._lazy_callback_resize_100())},100);setInterval(function(){tdEvents.scroll_event_slow_run&&(tdEvents.scroll_event_slow_run=!1,td_events_scroll_scroll_to_top(tdEvents.scroll_window_scrollTop),td_more_articles_box.td_events_scroll(tdEvents.scroll_window_scrollTop),tdCustomEvents._lazy_callback_scroll_500());tdEvents.resize_event_slow_run&&(tdEvents.resize_event_slow_run=!1,tdAffix.compute_wrapper(),

Hi,
I tried accessing some of your post links from your twitter page on mobile. For me the intended version is displayed
– https://www.screencast.com/t/qyMHrBwpsmn
– https://www.screencast.com/t/zLLNXfFTm
Either the default responsive version or mobile theme is installed, will be shown. AMP versions of posts can only be served by Google through Google search. I used Chrome mobile browser in my test.
Thanks
Hi,
The ajax filter when enabled, by default it will display all your categories. There is a field in which you can filter those categories
– https://www.screencast.com/t/mWonz7w6
Categories cannot be excluded in this field but they can be included. Enter only the category IDs you want to display. IDs can be seen here for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/HjGcvlo1ND
– https://www.screencast.com/t/xcgeasInGX7S
Thanks
