Hi,
You mean the content in the blocks and grids? If you do, please use he filter and sort options that each block/grid has. You can control what posts each elements displays. Simply edit the page with the composer, click on the respective element and then access the filter tab – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
So for example you can select that the posts displayed in a grid are picked from one, multiple or all categories. Then choose the order in which they are displayed, for example by latest.
But the posts will change when more are published in the selected category. If you want the same posts to appear in a block or grid permanently, you can enter their IDs in the provided field – http://prntscr.com/of3tbh – http://prntscr.com/of3th5 Multiple IDs can be separated by commas – http://prntscr.com/of3tt5
The guide mentions the multiple settings blocks have, if you have questions about them please let me know.

You can set only one page using the elements from the composer. You will have to assign filters to every single element for each category. I added a blank template and added 2 blocks. One I set it up to display only the posts from the Video categories and the other one only the Featured category posts.

Right now I am using Blocks 18 for my main page. Right now I duplicated Block 18 twice and added it below my previous block 18 and offset my post number. Now I want to know are there any way to combine two blocks and then create pagination for it.
I found this solution:
A shortcode is implemented through the tagdiv composer in a “column text ” block and in text mode, not visual mode like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/LFAFqmzqyfIO The shortcode will only render once you hit save and preview the page.
If there is a better way to implement WP Simple Pay Pro into the Newspaper elements please let me know. Thank you.

I have restructured my ACF custom fields and have looked into your suggestion. As an example if I place the following code into the previous modules I mentioned, i.e. module 8 or 9, this sits appends an external URL (stored in a custom field) to the relevent post title –
<h3 class=”entry-title td-module-title”>post->ID); ?>” rel=”bookmark” title=”<?php echo get_the_title( $this->post->ID );//$title; ?>”><?php echo get_the_title( $this->post->ID ); //$title; ?></h3>
However, I can seem to get this to work with Flex Block 1.

After updating Newsmag to 4.9, my Posts page (https://piracymonitor.org/blog/) is broken. Two problems:
1) The page was designed to contain a text block that with text that introduces the content for for this page. But this content no longer appears at all (it is supposed to appear above the posts).
2) The filter for the block that I am using to display the actual posts was set to show only the posts that are categorized as ‘BLOG.’ However, the page now shows ALL posts, regardless of category.
When I attempted to use tagDiv Composer to access my Blog page to re-establish the text block and the filter, the WordPress admin console tells me that tagDiv Composer can no longer be used on the Posts page.

Also, the mobile version of my home page no longer contains the same content of the home page that shows in a Web browser. I made no changes. The 4.9 update broke this.

I have a page on which is placed a number of Block 9 Elements, where all use the Block Header 4 template, and the content of each element is filtered by two categories.
I’m trying to create the functionality where a user clicks on the Block Header 4 tab and is taken to a sub category page where the displayed content is filtered according to the rules applied to the original Element.
Obviously I can create multiple sub-category pages and assign a unique URL to each block header on the initial page but this is clunky and in elegant.
I may just be dumb and have not yet found the setting that allows me to do this. If this is not the case do you have any suggestions how this can be achieved, either via CSS or PHP or some other way.

Please add category filter for post loop elements. E.g. I don’t want to display all categories on the homepage. And I want to use post loop elements, not other block elements. Thanks! (Even hidden categories are visible, makes no sense to me)
Hi there, i’m very happy with the theme, but it’s to many funcionallities that i get a little lost.
So i’ve listed some of the questions… Can u aswer me please?
1 – At the “YOUR HEADER AD” I want to put 4 images “lined” instead of one of 728×90… How can i do this? In this case those are my partners logos.
2 – What is the perfect Featured Image? I want a size that goes well at the grids and blocks.
3 – Some of the blocks can display the articles rotating automaticly? Like an slide… What block can do this? Or I have to use Revolution Slider?
4 – I alredy use a AD plugin that has a lot of information, Advanced Ads, and I want to continue using with news mag. This plugin generates wordpress shotcodes that can be placed into contents and widgets, what is the best way of inserting this shortcodes with TD Composer?

Just fired up Newspaper and everything seems to be working fine, I changed menu items but noticed the menu did not update in the blocks. I went into the editor and updated the menu to the one I tweaked but the changes are not showing up. I am using the TD composer to edit. I am saving after changes. The menu in the header is updated, but none of the block headers menus are taking on the new changes.

On the homepage I am using the “BigGrid 3” layout for the focus area.
How am I able to choose what specific category goes into each block?
For example, the larger block, I only want one category to display there and so on for the other blocks.

I have to say I’m totally disappointed in your answer.
I reviewed your GUIDE before posting here and could not find any setting for Footer Template #2.
Unless you updated your guide in the last few hours I can’t find any mention of how to change the popular posts block in Footer Template #2.
If you think I’m wrong then share a link, but if you can’t share a link to the answer then just put me in touch with someone who can help (but for goodness sake don’t reply saying “read the instructions” again without AT LEAST providing a link to the answer)
Or, feel free to admit that the popular posts in Footer Template #2 is broken.

When i try to make a new template or customize one, its block by the fire wall. It maybe our firewall that is causing the issue. Could you send me the IP address for the Cloud template so I can white list it on the firewall.

I’m using the 2/3 + 1/3 row layout and the block in question is flex block 1. Really frustrating since everything looks correct, as far as I can tell, but it still doesn’t publish as the Composer looks. The big grid flex 1 is also having a similar issue. Is it something with the flex blocks? I selected them because of certain features they have which aren’t included with normal blocks.

This is not a support request, just a suggestion to what I would like to see added into this very solid theme.
I would like to have pagination customization because I notice that using a template page from Cloud Template pagination plugins seems to be overwritten by theme pagination itself. I think it could be a game changer to be able to include that because it will simplify the use of pagination for both site builders and users, also increasing the page views or the time on pages.
For example, customization could be:
– Pagination mode
Regular (blocks with previous/next)
Dropdown list
– Pagination style
Numbers (1, 2, 3…)
Letters (A, B, C…)
Roman numerals (I, II, III…)
Heading (select which heading to be used -H2, H3 or H4…)

Hi,
It could happen, depending on the row layout used and blocks used. For example predefined blocks (1->25) should be used only with these row layouts – http://prntscr.com/odyypj
Placing them in a different trow layout may cause them to not display properly in the final result (even if they look fine when placing them in the composer).
Flex blocks can be used in all the row layouts, this is one of their advantages.

The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)

The post limit isn’t one of the the settings that works per viewport. So what you are trying to do isn’t possible by that method.
That end result could be achieved by a different method, using 2 blocks 14, one set to display 2 posts, the other 1 post – http://prntscr.com/odxshd
Then hide the one with the 2 post limit for mobile, and the 1 post limit block on desktop

Any ideas how to fix this? I’m not super code savvy but need to fix this image for a new homepage ASAP. Also, for whatever reason the block titles also never remain centered (they always go left). Anyone else have these issues and get them resolved?

I am trying to insert a shortcode into a ‘Column Text’ but when I click ‘Edit Content’ it hangs with a never-ending spinning circle.
I looked at previous topics and checked all of the settings, deactivated all other plugins, tried different browsers.
When I look at Newspaper system status I see two yellow blocks
1. 1000 – the max_input_vars should be bigger than 2000, otherwise it can cause incomplete saves in the menu panel in WordPress.
BUT WHEN I LOOK IN THE C-PANEL IT IS SET TO 2000
