Hello Pedro,
This kind of issue might be caused by your untested plugins. Please ensure that this kind of issue does not come from there. Try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. It is possible as some untested plugins to create interference with the theme creating these issues.
Also, after removing your untested plugins if your problem is still there, please notice that you have some problems with your database and I am not able to provide you an accurate response because it is not theme related. Please contact your hosting provider and ask them a fix in this regard because they should be able to give you more accurate explication or fixes.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello shae101s,
I have checked your website and I saw the problem with your post images. Also, I have checked your console and your source page and I have notice that you have a lot of js errors through your console and also, you are using a lot of untested plugins -> http://screencast.com/t/zy0SJ9p1Kc which interferes with our theme and could cause a lot of unknown issue in theme. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. After this, enable your plugin one by one and try to identify the culprit in this regard and remove it. Also, you will have to search an alternative in your case to avoid this issue.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hi
I’ve checked your site and noticed that your using an older version of the theme and also Visual Composer it’s outdated.
After WordPress updated at V 4.5 there appeared a jQuery conflict in our theme. We fixed this conflict and the current theme version available on themeforest works fine, also we included last version of Visual Composer plugin.
Try to update the theme at V 2.3.6, and Visual Composer at V 4.11.2 following our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ deactivate all other plugins, clear all caches and test again.
I hope this helps.
Thanks!
Please clear all caches from the cache plugin and from the cdn server if you use it. Also try to clear the browser cache.
Thank you!
Hello pasqualino77,
I have checked your code and you do not follow the steps that I gave you above. Please check again your code and follow the right way, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/klkjHLn5sLu After then please clear all your cache and check the results.
Thanks.
Hi,
Please remove w3 total cache as the recommended and tested cache plugin with our theme is WP Super cache
Thank you!
Hello, I have this error in the database. Can anybody help me?
[29-Apr-2016 01:51:19 UTC] Erro de banco de dados do WordPress Lost connection to MySQL server during query para a consulta SELECT post_id, meta_key, meta_value FROM wp_postmeta WHERE post_id IN (53992) ORDER BY meta_id ASC feita por require(‘wp-blog-header.php’), require_once(‘wp-includes/template-loader.php’), include(‘/themes/Newspaper/single_template_2.php’), get_header, locate_template, load_template, require_once(‘/themes/Newspaper/header.php’), wp_head, do_action(‘wp_head’), call_user_func_array, hook_wp_head, wp_get_attachment_image_src, image_downsize, wp_attachment_is_image, wp_attachment_is, get_attached_file, get_post_meta, get_metadata, update_meta_cache
Actually, it sometimes doesn’t work.
I change the “Custom font files” on this page: http://wow-staging.nucreativetesting.co.uk/wp/wp-admin/admin.php?page=td_theme_panel&td_page=td_view_custom_fonts
…and then “SAVE SETTINGS” on this page: http://wow-staging.nucreativetesting.co.uk/wp/wp-admin/admin.php?page=td_theme_panel
…and then empty the cache, and reload the page. But the theme still tries to load the fonts from the old location.
I think the theme is caching the old values. How can I fix this?
What exactly did you do with W3 Total Cache? I have the same exact problem at the moment. Thanks.
Hi
I’ve checked the image displayed on the grid and noticed that the thumbnails for it are not generated properly. Try to regenerate all your thumbnails following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/ clear all caches then test again.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
Thank you for your attention.
I just realize, its just slow respond of the browser. Maybe just you said, there is a cache which store the previous script. Changing the script at the theme panel, need a time to effect for some browser, especially for the mobile device.
Thank you again for your attention. And i wonder….Wordpress already launch new update for the engine. Newspaper theme have no problem with new engine of WordPress right??And how to update visual composer? Is there any update for newspaper theme?
Regards,

Hello,
I use your Newsmag theme about 4 months. It worked good but pictures doesn’t seem now. I deactivated all plugins. Give 777 permissions uploads and cache folders. Also, I checked my hosting account. We didn’t solve this problem.
My website: http://www.arabahaberim.com/
If I clicked right and open new window site’s pictures It seem normally. However I don’t see homepage, article page etc.
Thanks.
Hi,
Unfortunately we have not tested amazon links so we have no idea how they should work. Generally you can add html or js in a textbox in text mode (not visual mode) If it does not work, then try it on a standard page in a text block and see if it works there. You will have to test this out yourself.
please also try it without plugins as these can interfere as well. Disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you have a cache plugin. then make sure you clear cache after changing settings as they may be served from the cache.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please provide a link to your site so we can inspect it and figure out why your images do not show. I suspect a plugin issue. Not all plugins are compatible with premium themes. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have checked your site and the images seem to display fine. Maybe the cache was not reset yet.
Please let us know if you require any further assistance.
Thank you!
Hello berchman,
I have checked your console and I saw that you have some errors and jquery warnings as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/zOZIa60VC I suspect these irregularities come from your untested plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, please all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
It does not work. I disabled the plugin, clear the cache and re-installed it. I have the same problem. Other idea?

Hi
This code is not generated by the theme so it could be generated by an ad or an external script which runs on your server. Also I’ve checked your site whit pingdom bu couldn’t find it among the resources fetched.
If you till have this issue try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn files if you’re using then test again.
Thanks!
Hello sunkast,
Our tested version of Visual Composer is 4.11.2. -> http://screencast.com/t/YnCQHPA9s and with this plugin’s version the theme work as properly. Please ensure that your issue does not come from your untested plugins. I recommend you to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. After this changes, if you problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so I can further inspect your setup page. Also, please provide the link of this topic so we can know who you are and what the issue is.
Thank you for the message!
Hi,
These 2 issues you have, are clearly some external css overwriting the theme;s. please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Also if you have customization in place, please make a back-up of your code and restore the theme to it’s default values. In these cases a css fix is not the proper solution as you need to identify the root of the problem rather than covering it up with css.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
