I can’t get the mobile page which is associated with my home page to load. Rather it appears to be just the responsive version of the web page which is showing. Is there a setting that I’ve missed? Here are the actions I’ve taken so far:
– Created a mobile page (through the “+” method at top of page.) My current home page is connected to it <img src="https://i70west.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/mobile.png" /><img src="https://i70west.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/mobile-set.png" />
– I do not have Amp or Newspaper Mobile plugin installed.
– I emptied all caches I could think of (W2 Supercache, server, laptop and safari on iphone)
– I deactivated plugins, but that wasn’t the issue.
– Here is the mobile page as it should appear (and as it appears under the TagDiv edit page. Notice it has a “Button” to identify it as the correct version.) <img src="https://i70west.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/mobile-view-e1665434613554.png" />

Could it be some strange caching problem? I’d appreciate any suggestions you have for a fix…Can’t get it up and running until mobile is straightened out.

Thanks so much.

Hello,

I think the problem is the settings are not saved; please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-composer-does-not-save-only-content-of-homepage/.
Also, please make sure you don’t have an object cache.

You need to edit with tagDiv Composer and change the font for each element that you want https://i.imgur.com/xp4zoTb.jpg
-> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQvA64uTLkI

Also, on our channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOT1RiNysIPCTPSnVZskwtQ, you can find more videos that can help you and documentation https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/ and you can ask us here on the forum if you have any questions.

Thank you!

Ok, I deactivated the plugin Aruba HiSpeed Cache (which is a mandatory install – automatically updated by the hosting provider) and the saving issue has been resolved.

I’m not using a child theme, I’m using the Magazine Pro template

For caching, we use WP Super Cache. However, even after disabling this plug-in, there is no difference.

In terms of mobile page. Our home page is just responsive, so it is not a separate page, but a responsive version of the desktop home page.

Hi,

Just went through the checklist in the link that you provided and none of those worked

-Jetpack not installed
-Yoast SEO not installed
-BuddyPress not installed
-htaccess did not have any deny from all in it
-Object Cache on Backend object-cache.php not found
-ModSecurity disabled from cPanel but did not make any difference

Theme panel is still not working as it should, save settings is not saving the settings.

Is there any possibility that you could take a look if I provide login details via email?

Hello Sunil!

If you use default templates, please makes sure you use the Standard Pack plugin.
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
For that error, please check this article: https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/there-has-been-a-critical-error-on-your-website/

Hope that helps you!

Thank you!

Hi transcontinentaltimes,
I sent an email to the developer team asking when we can expect this problem to be resolved, now I’m waiting for an answer from them.
What I can recommend is to use cache on database and mysql-> https://code.tutsplus.com/tutorials/speed-up-wordpress-caching-and-database-optimization–cms-22055 -> https://wordpress.org/plugins/mysql-query-cache-stats/

Hi Alin,

Since the query cache has been deprecated, what are the ways to speed up and remove sluggish behavior now?

Anamaria

Hi,

Usually, this problem is caused by the cache plugin, which doesn’t have the option for the mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

You can use AMP, but we offer support for the mobile version only with mobile theme + AMP plugin and set for AMP -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/ => https://i.imgur.com/1kMs1ds.png and set the AMP for posts => https://i.imgur.com/GLEeeoZ.png, but you can’t customize the layout for AMP with tagDiv Composer.

Thank you!

Any help with this issue will be very appreciated!

https://carolinaepicurean.com/vintners-table-opens-softly-at-burntshirt-vineyards/

After changing my site to a new template, almost all post links stopped working. If you look at the above link to a post, you’ll see the bolded words in the quote above the gallery. They are linked, but not working.

When I logged into the post and opened non-working links, then re-saved, the links went live. Really don’t want to have to do this in every post. 🙁

I’ve cleared site cache and all cache via Cloudflare. Didn’t seem to help.

Thanks,
Laura

Thank you! I am going to change out litespeed cache to WP rocket or WP super cache. You helped fix my problem.

I noticed this on all browsers in incognito and private mode, mobile theme loads randomly, sometimes on home page, sometimes on post pages. When I use query string, then correct page loads. I checked this disabling all cache plugins and everything but I was not able to figure out the reason for this, can anyone help me with this please ?
Thanks,

Calin

I see, in this case it was definitely a cache and the problem persisted because some cache plugins like litespeed, W3 total cache creates files with cache that are apply even after the cache plugins disabled.

Cloudflare already had the recommended settings. I fixed the symptom of the code appearing instead of a post by searching for files and folders marked cache and deleting the ones that were safe to delete. The symptom went away without me purging Cloudflare, so I guess the issue was a cache plugin.

WP Super Cache was the final cache plugin I tried. The issue worsened. I don’t know if WP Super Cache was the cause or if there were traces of W3 Total Cache interfering. Either way, I’m hesitant to try any cache plugin again, because I have so many posts and there’s no way to know which is missing until visitors complain. It’s doing more harm than good. Thanks.

Hi,
If the problem doesn’t persists when you are logged it, then it is clearly form a cache or CDN.
What I can suggest is to be sure that all the theme plugins that you need are enabled.
Set the CDN like in our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/ also, if you want to try a cache plugin you can trey the one from our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hello,

Please go and edit the category template, select the posts loop element, go into the tab General, and change the pagination. Make sure the settings are saved.
Also, purge the cache.

Thank you!
