Hi team,
After switching to 12.6.8 – our categories have completely barfed (they worked under 12.6.6). While the big grid still works a treat, and so does our sidebar, the two columns are all over the shop. Here’s a link: https://www.exhaustnotes.com.au/motoring-news/
I’m happy to go back to 12.6.6 if need be, to make stuff work properly, but a fix would be great. I’ve tried the usual things already, including flushing the caches for WP Rocket, and both our SiteGround caches, but to no avail. I even tried re-opening the design in Composer and saving it again, just in case that fixed it, but again, to no avail.
I’ll hold off updating our second site (on its own licence), to beyond .6 for now, until this is resolved.
As you can see from the link it’s not even installed.
The weird thing is that once i decided to improve the mobile experience this is what i did:
– deactivate mobile plugin (i chosed to stay with the composer versione)
– enable the mobile homepage and customized some of others mobile pages from cloud templates panel
– i noticed that on the homepage there was i persisten call back to the wrong logo but i found it was linked in the mobile page composer settings
– tested out with different browser/PCs/smartphones and after cache cleaning ext. … and everything was looking good
– then after some days of rest, i noticed the bad logo and posts again.
i don’t get why it does not appear as i can see the mobile page in the composer. This is what i see from my desktop, the “Mobile” page in green is the one that looks good in the composer:
Hi urishtaujjain,
I the cache plugin you are using set to create a different cache for mobile version?
For the elements that are changing the dimension it is possible to be first display a dimension and after that to load the new one (this can be also a custom css set in theme panel in css for mobile and it should be load faster in head of using the media tags, so if you have)
@media only screen and (max-width: 600px) {
}
Thank you!
I think that you checked when the cache was clear and was not fully create a new one – https://we.tl/t-Kh5eW4rldM I made some tests and now the results are better, but can not be constant will increase and decrease base on cache lever at that moment on website.
Ok, I checked on homepage, post, author and category and the menu elements seems to be moving on posts when the sticky sidebar is used. I think this is what you referred. Now this can be a result from css optimizations, what I will recommend is to check if this is happening when you are logged in, if is happening then there is a different problem, and not related to css optimizations.
Also, just for a test you can try to disable the sticky header -https://i.imgur.com/leWpFEG.png, clear cache and create a new one an see if the score is better.
Hello!
Do you use a mobile page? https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hello!
Please check if this issue is not caused by the cache tools you use on your WordPress or server.
Thank you!
I tried to use with Custom Post Type UI and the composer.
I am trying to display custom fields (such as Artist Photo and Artist Bio) from the Artist post type when viewing a Song post. The Song post is linked to an Artist post using an ACF Post Object field.Issue:
When editing a Song post in TagDiv Composer, the custom fields from the related Artist post (e.g., Artist Photo, Artist Bio) do not display. I’ve tried multiple approaches, including:
Adding a Custom Field block in TagDiv Composer and attempting to pull the image field from the linked Artist post.
Ensuring that the Artist Photo field in the Artist post is set to return an Image URL in ACF.
Checking that the Post Object field correctly links the Song post to the Artist post.
Using both Image and Text fields in the Artist post to ensure that TagDiv can render both types of fields.
Clearing all caches and refreshing after making changes.
Steps to Reproduce:
Create a Post Object Field in the Songs post type that links to the Artist post.
In the Artist post type, create fields for Artist Photo (Image) and Artist Bio (Text).
Link a Song post to an Artist post using the Post Object field.
Open the Song post in TagDiv Composer and attempt to add a Custom Field block to display the Artist Photo and Artist Bio from the linked Artist post.
What I’ve Tried:
Inserting a Custom Field in TagDiv Composer and selecting the Artist Photo field from the related Artist post.
Verifying the return format of the fields in ACF (set to Image URL).
Using Text Blocks in TagDiv Composer to display text fields from the related Artist post, but it doesn’t work.
Clearing cache and disabling any third-party plugins that could interfere.
Expected Behavior:
I expect the Artist Photo (image) and Artist Bio (text) from the linked Artist post to display in the Song post when using TagDiv Composer.Actual Behavior:
The Custom Field block in TagDiv Composer does not display the data from the linked Artist post, even though the Post Object field is set correctly and the data is available in the Artist post.
Hi, maybe you checked on pagesped and the cache was not complete for the page/post.
I see that you have changed the footer. Also I checked the homepage and it has now 80 on mobile – https://i.imgur.com/1EzcOG5.png and 85 on desktop – https://i.imgur.com/TcGp11j.png
Now related to this page – https://thezugzwangblog.com/reglas-del-ajedrez/ the page is huge, if you check on smaller articles the score is better.
Hi,
Usually, this happens with cache plugins. If the cache plugin does not have mobile support then the mobile version can be delivered instead.
The solution would be to use the recommended WP Super Cache plugin instead and activate these settings (especially the mobile device support): https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also, you can check this https://i.imgur.com/Es7nHNh.png
Thank you!
Hi,
I think that you have a plugin conflict there. Have you checked for a plugin conflict? Please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones; also, if you use a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache, and try again.
Thank you!

Hello,
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.
Also, please resave the permalinks.
Thank you!
Hello,
We recommend WPML plugin for translations: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/
You need to translate the English (original language) the template for each language in part – https://i.imgur.com/CDmeHCf.png you should have them for each language cloud template – https://i.imgur.com/4agmUtg.png
A much simpler and faster alternative is to duplicate the cloud template you want to use in another language, edit it and select the desired language – https://i.imgur.com/z1CqgBo.png (edit the name) – https://i.imgur.com/dPX8ROs.png – https://i.imgur.com/Lc81IgP.png This method needs to be used to translate all cloud templates.
The pages are created with tagDiv Composer which is a page builder, when WPML is used it cannot translate everything that was built with the page builder and must be edited for each language separately. Please open the page in the editor and click on translate – https://i.imgur.com/TXH6y1c.png. After, if you duplicate the template, you can edit it to change the logo, menu, and whatever you want.
When you make the corrections, make sure you are on the page with the language you are editing, and if you use the cache, or object cache, please clear it.
Please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/missing-strings-on-wpml/
Thank you!
I did try to disable the cache plugin but issue still persist
Probably need to clear cache after making changes.
This has happened to me couple of times.
Hello,
Please activate the tagdiv Standard pack plugin and clear the cache.
Thank you!
Hi,
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue. That’s why we recommend first deactivating ALL plugins except tagDiv ones; if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser), and see the results.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please let me know if you a plugin for cache.
Thank you!

Hello,
Our view count elements from the theme counts each view regardless of the user who visits the posts (even the refresh will be counted), but if there cache or other similar options for improvements those can interfere. The first step will be to use the Ajax View Count to keep count when a cache is used.
If you want to have more control over post view count, please notice that you can handle it from Custom Fields from each post editor, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/fGWl7fxh6 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/wmrhc7pLPMk2
Now, Google Analytics provides real and unique value for your visitors, maybe from Jetpack stats, too (and this option can be used: https://i.imgur.com/lMxKPYK.png).
Thank you!
Dear Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am currently using the River News template within the Newspaper theme and have encountered an issue with the Infinite Loading for Single Posts feature. Despite enabling the setting, it does not seem to be functioning correctly on my site.
I have already tried clearing the cache on both WordPress and Cloudflare, but the problem persists. The issue appears to be specific to the River News template, as this feature was working fine with other templates.
Hi, if the problem is resolve after the wp rocket cache is cleared, then it is related to some options form the cache plugin. Please do a test using the other option for css optimization, the one with load css asynchronously – https://i.imgur.com/i4GId0S.png
Thank you!
