Hello ewebie,
It seems to be a strange problem which might be caused by your bad installing. Try to make a new clean install from scratch, via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. Clear all the caches and check the results. Also, check your system status to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Orlando,
First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest theme version and also, the required plugins which come bundled with the theme core files. Clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. If the problem is still there, please try to make a new fresh install from scratch via FTP way and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. If you are using some untested plugins which might cause a lot of issues in the theme, you should remove all of them and then check the results. I suppose that errors come from your bad installations or some errors caused by your theme installing. If you will reinstall the theme, you will revert the theme to the default state and it should work.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello pstgibson,

Thanks.
Hi,
Please deactivate all your plugins except the ones that are provided with the theme, and clear any cache that you have installed. In most cases a plugin or plugin conflict can cause this kind of problems. If after trying this the option is present, activate your plugins one by one and maybe identify the one responsible.
Thanks
Hi,
We have no reports of this issue for the moment. It must be something local affecting it.
Please check to see if the implementation is done correctly:

If everything is in order, try it without plugins as there could be a plugin conflict affecting it. Disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thanks.

Got the solution 🙂
Please do not use this option of the seo yoast plugin: https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh If you do not use seo yoast, please disable all plugins except the tagdiv composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test the composer again.
Hi,
My mobile view is initially rendering like so: https://imgur.com/a/Ytq3u
I have to tap the “View Full Site” link in order to see the proper mobile version. I’ve tried disabling all plugins, including WP Super Cache, and that does not work to fix the issue. Is there a configuration that I’m missing?
Hi,
Since upgrading to Newspaper 8.0 I am receiving mixed content warnings in my SSL. After going to the console it is the following that is causing the problem:
style.css Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=1.4.1&nocache=1:2 JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1

This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

Is this an error with the latest update? As before I updated I didn’t have this issue.
If it isn’t an error how would I go about fixing this? I’m unable to find these specific links in my theme files.
Thank you.
Hello,
That is done from the cdn server IF you use one. If you do not know how to reset it , you most likely do not use one so skip that part.
If after the disabling of the plugins and clearing of cache, the site is not up properly, you should try to make a clean install via ftp: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ to make sure all the theme files are properly in place on your server.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hello,
Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then try to reinstall the theme properly by using this guide:https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/
Also please check your memory allocation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thank you!
Hello awoodhams,
I have inspected your homepage and I did not saw any problem with this page. Everything seems to work as expected. Clear all of your caches, purge all CDN files and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
I also found that I have to disable “Widget Cache” as well for it work.
Hello hanakousuke,
Strange. Probably you have some caches on your server and that’s why your changes are not loaded. Request to clear all the server caches to your hosting provider, purge all CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello Aakash,
First of all, please notice that the W3TotalCache plugin is not tested with our theme and it seems to cause a lot of problems through the theme, sorry! You should use the WP Super Cache which is our recommended caching plugin.
Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized. Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit to our requirements. For an example, you should check our demo preview because this website is optimized.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
It seems you have a redirect on your author link. Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have few common page speed issues on my website. I am using w3total cache plugin and tag-speed-booster plugin but still google page speed tool shows few problems like Leverage browser caching, Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content, Minify CSS, Enable compression, Minify JavaScript and Minify HTML.
So kindly guide me how to fix this issues with proper code.
Hello,
I uploaded it below.
http://fightersspirits.sakura.ne.jp/059.jpg

However, the site will not change.
I am clearing the cache.
What is wrong?
Thanks!
Hello vasik,
I have inspected your website and I saw that for FireFOx browser the Header add disappears. Also, I have noticed that on your header wrap is applied an unknown class which has a rule with display: none, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Zs9JI0XNfJt7 You can try using the below code and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area, clear all the caches and check the results.
.td-header-ad-wrap{
display:block!important;
}
Also, if you are using some untested plugins (for emoji for example) please try to disable all of them, leave just only our tested plugins to be active, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello saustav,
Please notice that option is available for Newspaper 8.0, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/W64bxsX6s I guess that your issue becomes from a bad theme installing. Try to reinstall the theme from scratch via FTP way, check the system status parameters to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ clear all the caches and check the results. Should working.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello @schauvin and @pedromantovani,
I recommend you to make to make a full backup to your database and then, update the theme to the latest theme version which is 8.0 via FTP way and check the results. Clear all the caches and purge CDN files. If you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files, you should remove all of them and leave just only required plugins to be active and check the results. Also, check your dedicated server to be according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
It seems there is a problem people are facing with this issue but the visual composer team claim the option workds properly so we can assume it’s not a bug in the visual composer code but rather something else affecting it.
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the visual composer and woocommerce, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello hanakousuke,
First of all, please ensure that you change the code from the right theme install and then you should comment out only the 207 line of the code. After this, very important it clear all your caches and check the results. I have tested on my side and still working.
Thanks for your understanding!
Salut Mos Martin,
Hi,
The WP Super Cache is recommended to be used along with the theme. Just install the plugin and follow this guide to configure the cache with the optimal settings
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thanks
