Hi,
I have personally tested the code on your site using a chrome extension: http://screencast.com/t/Sp1QB0Of9
The css works You just need to implement it properly and clear cache afterwards.
Please provide a screenshot of the custom css box so i can see how you implement the code and if you have any open tags there that could prevent the code from working.
Thank you!
Hi all,
Just to add some more detail. We have changed the WP debug settings and we can see the following lines in debug.log
[06-Oct-2016 20:46:11 UTC] PHP Notice: Use of undefined constant FS_CHMOD_DIR - assumed 'FS_CHMOD_DIR' in /var/www/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-direct.php on line 432

Not sure if related, but do you have any idea on how to resolve this?

Hi there,
I am getting two errors after uploading and setting the mobile theme. The top menu does not work when I press it. The bottom of the page also shows booster errors.
wp booster error:
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with
the ID: td_remote_cache is not set.
wp booster error:
Missing parameter: ‘file’
From my web guy:
Okay I did what he suggested completely. I deactivated everything except visual composer. Cleared cache. Same problem.
I turned it all back on, but can confirm that it is not a plugin conflict causing the problem. I also disabled the child-theme I created and that didn’t do anything either.
Can you follow up with support on that forum and see if he has other suggestions?
Hi,
Try delete the old version of mobile theme plugin and install this one: http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/td-mobile-plugin.zip clear all caches then test the site again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hello,
The css code works, Simply add the code in the theme panel> custom css box and clear all cache. I cannot say for sure where the error comes from. It could be a plugin or a custom modification you made.
Thank you!
Hello Fasmon,
I have added your code in functions.php core file like this -> http://screencast.com/t/KnBaarELu and it seems to work as properly. Try again, clear all your caches and check the results.
Thanks.
Hello Edward,
Please ensure that you have activated the Google Fonts settings from your language, from Theme panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/iA6cypmw To be sure, you can try to enable all of them, clear all your caches nad check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Vittorio,
I have inspected your website again and I saw that you have a lot of errors in your console, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/jEXko5e5tG2Q and also, I saw that you are using a lot of unknown plugins which are not tested with the theme and which can interact with the theme and cause these types of errors. Please try to disable all the plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, if the problem is still there after this advice, please try to make a new clean install with the latest version of theme and required plugins and check the results.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Please try to disable all other plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files Then try to install the mobile theme without any other plugins. If you still cannot manage to install it, use the ftp method by simply extracting the plugin archive and placing the folder in the main wordpres install under wp-content/plugins. Then you only need to activate the plugin.
If this still does not do it, then please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and investigate the issue. Please also include a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thank you!
Hi,
Its because ive turned off cache (wp super cache).
No Solution yet.
Please help to sort this out.
Regards
Mohammed
Hello sainthilaire,
I have inspected your website and seems that work as properly for both modes -> desktop and mobile. If your problem will reappears, try to clear all your caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Now, the theme works as properly.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then try to install the mobile theme again without other plugins. The mobile theme will not be compatible with all the plugins even if they are compatible with the desktop theme. They are 2 different themes.
Thank you!
Hello Edward,
This is not a bug, you can check our demo tutorial here -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-aston-villa-beat-liverpool-to-join-arsenal-in-the-fa-cup-final/ and you will see that this behavior does not happen. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
This is most likely a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test the search again and let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello willysawa,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you homepage layout is damaged. Please try to make a new homepage from scratch and check again the results. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
Try delete the mobile theme plugin and install this version: http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/td-mobile-plugin.zip clear all caches then test the site again. Let me know if you still have trouble with it.
Thank you!
Hi again,
Tried to use the settings you forwarded me to.
Tried to disable all except wp super cache and visual composer … same issue.
Also contacted maxcdn, followed their guides but nothing their either…
How can we sort this?
Regards,
Mohammed
Removed all Plugins still facing issue. Even i cleared the cache. Please suggest a way to solve this issue.
Hello hemant90,
Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. This is not a right theme behaviour and it is possible that your untested plugins used by you to interact with the theme code and cause this type of error. Try my advice, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results. Please notice that I have tested your logo on my side, using the header style 1 and the logo seems to work as properly, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/wXVwVYJqz
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
If you set everything up properly please give it a bit of time to update as it;s not a live count. Alternatively you can clear all caching to get the results quicker as cache also affects the counter.
I added your fb Id on my end but could not find any issues: http://screencast.com/t/qupOnvzxgCZN
Thank you!
Hello Socialfeed,
Please ensure that this type of error does not come from your untested plugins. Also, if you have some additional customizations through code or CSS, please try to disable all of them, clear all your caches and try the theme to the default state. Also, if you are using the CDN system, please try to purge all the CDN files, clear all your caches and test again.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
WP super cache has an issue on mobile and maybe it affects your site in that regard. We have no such reports but you can try this fix to see if it works:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-problems-3/
Thank you!
Hi,
I’ve just done that and clear all caches, temp and cookies: sidebar line is into editor!
How can I remove it?
Hello,
Please make sure you increase the system status parameters as this guide suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
That is a requirement for the theme to function properly.
Also you can test to see if it;s a plugin conflict by disabling all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
Let us know if you still have trouble with this.
Thank you!
