Hello,

Css is not dependent on the theme location but rather the classes and id’s of the elements.
There is another way of doing it however as the theme already allows this by using cloud library templates for your categories. You can use a different template with a different menu for each category. Use the cloud library, header manager and category templates and you will not need custom code and it will be much easier and 100% update proof. A child theme is not update proof.

The tagdiv composer allows you to select the preferred width for your rows so you can create a template as wide as you need.

That is what you’ll have to create. You can use a category template from the cloud library and you can use List item, as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/uS6HStI2u9 and in that list you will have to insert the html version in order to have a link to it.

Unfortunately there is a problem with the new option add in theme panel for disable the schema article, this interfere with preview draft, in order to fix this problem you’ll need to make some changes in theme file or deactivate the schema articles from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/0E3IucACC You will have to check that in order to deactivate the schema, this issue will be fixed in the next update.

Unfortunately tagDiv Composer cannot be used on editing actual posts. You can edit Cloud templates and pages. You can import a post template and edit it to fit your tastes then apply it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/

Unfortunately there is a problem with the new option add in theme panel for disable the schema article, this interfere with preview draft, in order to fix this problem you’ll need to make some changes in theme file or deactivate the schema articles from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/0E3IucACC You will have to check that in order to deactivate the schema, this issue will be fixed in the next update.

For posts you can achieve that by editing the post template. You will have to use a cloud library post template : https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/

After that edit the template using the tagDiv Composer and add ad boxe where you want to insert your ads: https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-ad-spots/

What you can do is to make a test and use from Newspaper 10.2 only the tagDiv Composer and Standard pack and deactivate the tagDiv Cloud Library, is look that this one create some conflicts, so if you ware not using cloud elements there should be no problems, but first please make a test on a staging website.
If there are some problems, let us know and provide some screenshots or a link where we can inspect these problems.

The simplest way to achieve a full width is to use a template from tagDiv Cloud Library. There is no one single button push. You have to import a post style and set it as the default post template in the theme panel post settings, then you need to import a category template that is full width and set that one as the default category template. The same for tags, author pages etc:

1. From what I so there are even more problems on menu, are us using some custom code or untested plugins ? also if you are using child theme please set the parent theme.

2. If you have set a header from tagDiv Cloud Library, you need to edit the sticky menu too, edit that header template using header manager -> https://www.screencast.com/t/FkAe80JsuCo check the sticky menu, scroll until you see the sticky menu and click the menu, logo … -> https://www.screencast.com/t/o6Z8zoJoWbFY

3. The problem is caused by some css that set the set the opacity to 0 -> https://i.imgur.com/6wjHJl1.png I think that the most of the problems are caused by these errors -> https://i.imgur.com/3BYQfYp.png the min-js can not be load properly.

4. The problem seems to be created by some css that set opacity 0, usually this problem is usually made by some plugins or custom code.

TagDiv Composer is a Page builder and it can’t be used on creating posts. Only thing that you can do is to edit the post template as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/

Unfortunately for the moment the single post templates from tagDiv Cloud Library can not inherit the sidebar from the parent category as the standard templates,sorry for the inconvenience! maybe this option will be add in the coming updates.

Yes, you can achieve this on pages by using tagDiv Composer and set the row like this -> https://i.imgur.com/Xm9VUJM.jpg also we recommend to use flex blocks and flex grids also you can do the same on cloud templates, for posts you can get a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, edit it with tagDiv Composer and set the row for content as in may example, also you can set manually the width of columns -> https://i.imgur.com/StETWjr.png -> https://i.imgur.com/aqKdHiW.jpg

Also please notice that if you are using a pro demo or cloud templates the theme panel settings will no longer apply, you’ll need to edit the cloud templates using the tagDiv Composer.
