Just transferred my site to a new hosting service. They have ID’d TDcomposer as the reason for the slowdown. They have run tests with a “clean” version of newspaper and the site loads fine. I have reinstalled the theme and the plugins. Any ideas as to why composer is causing this hangup would be appreciated.

Same results – after I push activate td visual composer, I had error technicals problem on the site… And site did not available.
Step-by-step actions:
Updated News Paper via Envato Market – successfully done.
Clean cache
Install td visual composer via Newspaper/Plugins – failed. Not connected to the host.
Unzip td-composer to wp-content/plugins on host via FTP – successfully done.
Activating td visual composer via Newspaper/Plugins – error technicals problem on the site… And site did not available.
Restoring site…
Maybe I mast delete WPBakery Visual Composer, before activating tag div visual composer?

Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.

Doesn’t help, i have deactivated all the plugins but i cant build my frontpage using composer! I need someone to look at my wordpress.

If you are using a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, then you should be able to edit it with tagDiv Composer and set the column text at the beginning the post content and at the end of post content -> http://prntscr.com/pslgqa -> http://prntscr.com/pslh0e -> http://prntscr.com/pslh9b -> http://prntscr.com/pslhh6

Please provide me a link to inspect this situation, is possible to have set the page content in the header, or something like that.
“The current content hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer” – that is just a notice, isn’t be the result of actual issues in most cases. If you can successfully edit the page or could template then there is no problem, usually after you save the page/template in tagDiv Composer this message is not longer display.
It could also mean that the page contains elements that are not part of the tagDiv composer, or the page was saved in backed and not in TagDiv Composer, or the page has been built with with a different method, this can create problems.

You are using a very old theme, there were a lots of changes since Newspaper v7.5, also now the core of our theme is tagDiv Composer, the theme builder.
Making update from v7.5 to the last version will be a very big difference in the theme, it will be almost a new theme, also please make sure that you are making the update according to our documentation -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/, first please make a full backup to the theme, also it will be recommend to test first the new theme on local install or on sub-domain, and only after that to make the theme update ( delete all the old theme plugins and the theme and install the new one), also please use only the WPBakery Visual Composer that is coming with our theme, because only these version that comes with the package are tested to work with our theme.

In the last version of the theme the most theme functionality was moved in tagDiv Composer, you can check more about this in our article from here, now you need to set the code in this file -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/functions.php

From what I can see you are using the Newspaper theme with cloud templates -> http://prntscr.com/pskoo6 not the Newsmag theme, click on edit template -> http://prntscr.com/pskoo6 and change that text using tagDiv Composer.

Hello! I installed a demo and used her home. But every time I create a page to customize, it always comes with the contents of the main page. When I try to edit this message appears “the current content was not created by TagDiv Composer!
We have been using Newspaper 7.5 for several years and the hosting company just upgraded their PHP to 7.0.33 and WordPress to 5.2.4 and now I can’t get into page admin properly. It comes up mostly gibberish.
I tried installing Newspaper 9 (the latest) and everything went south. I managed to restore back to the old theme. Do you install updated themes so that content stays intact.
My second question: Will the new WPBakery Visual Composer version work with Newspaper 7.5?

Okay, understood: I can load a template from the cloud library, and afterwards I can edit it in the tagdiv composer.
But what I want is slightly different: I want to edit the existing default template that comes with the “black version” theme.
I tried to find this in the cloud library, but it doesn’t exist.

I pressume you mean the part wich includes the latest articles section. That one comes from the page building so you will have to edit the page in order to have that removed so you can edit it using the composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/uzXRgXTiHlH

Usually the social counter on pages can be remove using tagDiv Composer on posts or category templates when is set in sidebar can be remove from appearance > widgets and look for social counter -> http://prntscr.com/ps7ks4
Also now you can use single poets templates from tagDiv Cloud Library and edit it with tagDiv Composer to make it to look how you like.
