Hello! First, this is an amazing theme.

There is a photo I’d like to display in full on the site. I have it in an HTML box, and I “stretched” the row in tagDiv composer.

In the composer, it shows the photo in full resolution/original size, so that it covers the screen left to right. When I go to my actual website though, the image has shrunk.

How do I get the site to look like the preview in composer?

Hi,

The website seems to be displayed properly, except the social counter element (install and enable the social counter plugin provided in the theme package if you plan to use the social counter)
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/social-counter-styles-on-newspaper/
There should be no problem editing pages with the tagDiv composer
https://www.screencast.com/t/ESKONrH0
https://www.screencast.com/t/mpgheuWfq
Once the edit button is clicked you should be directed to edit mode. Check the theme system status
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Increase the allocated resources if needed. Also Deactivate all other plugins as a test, leave only theme plugins active. Then check if there still is a problem. Let us know.

Thanks

Hi there!

I would like to have a separate menu in mobile. However I don’t want to use the mobile theme since it seems I would have to design all the visual composer built pages from scratch to the mobile theme (or is there a way to make them work?). The mobile menu in theme seems to refer to the mobile theme’s menu and the responsive version sadly remains the same. Is there a way to have a separate mobile menu without using mobile theme and redesigning all the pages for mobile?

Hey there,

I could not save the page/post in TD Composer mode after editing Live Css Editor. The save icon keep spinning and the page did not get saved.

I checked in the Network debug tab and it shows errors like this:

<br />
<b>Warning</b>: Illegal string offset 'css' in <b>/home/site.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/css-live/includes/td_live_css_storage.php</b> on line <b>42</b><br />
<br />
<b>Warning</b>: Illegal string offset 'less' in <b>/home/site.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/css-live/includes/td_live_css_storage.php</b> on line <b>42</b><br />
[]

Can you help me?
Thank you.

Let me clarify. I figured out to set the sidebar for categories. How do I set it for the main page? I keep trying but it just doesn’t work. When I installed the Breaking News demo I selected settings, not demo content because I have a ton of blog posts already. Every time I try to add the sidebar using the Composer, it affects the global block under the news ticker.

Hi,
I saw the multipurpose shortcodes on TD Composer. Is it possible to use the “icon” one on the main menu beside every page using TD Composer? In case, how?

Thank you, but I’m not sure if you totally understood my question.

What I want to do is not change the design or edit it through tag div composer. What I want is to show pages and posts on a tag archive page, at the moment is only showing posts not pages.

I have a question – when I go to disable tagDiv composer so I can actually use Visual Composer, elements from the homepage no longer work. Do you have a solution?

Hey there,

I just purchased this theme and really like it – unfortunately, having some issues getting started.

I’ve imported the Default theme demo with all current content; working on staging site on subdomain http://newsite.tractionlife.com/.

When I try to edit my Homepage, I see a broken page but not the tagDive Composer elements.

Can somebody else me out? Thanks.

After installing Revolution Slider from the zip file as per the instructions, tagDiv Composer crashed. Now tagDiv Composer will not open under any circumstances on any page. I’ve read all of the forum posts on this error and have followed all of the guidance, except a full fresh install of my website:

1. Checked Super Cache settings
2. Disabled Super Cache
3. Disabled all third party plugins
4. Disabled tagDiv Composer (this yields an error message on page load “Did you disable some of your tagDiv plugins?” (or very similar verbiage) and the page that loads is useless as it can barely be read.
5. Reactivated the tagDiv Composer (page now loads correctly) however the tagDiv Composer itself still does not work (can’t use editor).

So, something is corrupted and got that way via the installation of Revolution Slider (perhaps?)
htaccess?
a php file?
an ini file?
something else.

Can’t use this now, so I’m using WPBakery page editor, with poor results. (Yes, I tried disabling it too.) Don’t know what to do next short of a totally brand new install, which will burn a many days of work.

What are the solutions?

Hello,

Sorry but the tag archive is a template created by wp and it cannot be edited with the tagdiv composer. The only tag template settings can be found in the theme panel here:

Thank you!

Thanks for your answer.
I love to work with your theme, it the absolute best I found in years and I assume I’ll have to do with both tagDiv and Visual composers until you make yours available on posts.

Hello vinmigliore,

Please provide your website URL so I can take a close look at it. Also, if you want to target a specific block from TD Composer you should add a new custom class from TD Composer for that block and then when you create the custom CSS you should use that class.

Thanks for the message!

Hello,

It seems the theme is not grabbing the proper css code for the element. Please clear all caching from your cache plugin, cdn server or hosting side cache.
Also test this withot any plugins. Disable all of theme except the tagdiv composer and test again.

Let us know if you still have this issue afterwards.

Thanks.

I couldn’t say exactly if one of these cases are to blame, but there are some situations when that error is displayed by the composer
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/errors-happened-during-tdciframedata-init-bindviewsmodelswrappers-14/
The composer should work for default WordPress pages, with custom page types we have not made any testing up to his point. If errors are displayed only when using it on these custom page types, that would suggest it will not work in these circumstances. The plugin and theme have received many modifications over the latest updates.

Hello,

This is done by stretching the row in the tagdiv composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/YbkdexGXdhv

Thank you!

First please make sure you have the latest version of the theme (8.7.2) and theme plugins, especially the composer plugin. The tagDiv composer is now version 2.1.

In some cases the solution form this topic worked for blank pages
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
You could give that a try.

If there is still a problem, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information, FTP and cPanel access. We will take a look. Make a backup of the website before.

We will take a look as soon as you can provide access. Unfortunately we cannot recreate such layout issues with the composer. We tried on browsers declared compatible with the theme, we did not encounter any problems. Let us know.

Thank you!

You did not ask a question from what I can see. I don’t know how you were inserting theme blocks in pages without using any of the composers.
If you don’t want to use any of the page builders, deactivate them and build pages in a different way as you did before.

As a note, if you reply in out own topic, you will only delay the response. We answer from oldest to newest. provide all the details in the first post and we will reply faster.

Goodmorning,

We are sending you screenshots of the page http://piemontevda.lnd.it/news-dal-comitato/. You will find:
http://piemontevda.lnd.it/attachments/login-page1.jpg: first pagination page viewed when logged in (
http://piemontevda.lnd.it/attachments/login-page2.jpg: second pagination page page viewed when logged in
http://piemontevda.lnd.it/attachments/logout-page1.jpg: first pagination page viewed when logged out
http://piemontevda.lnd.it/attachments/logout-page2.jpg: second pagination page page viewed when logged out
http://piemontevda.lnd.it/attachments/visual-composer.jpg: to see how this page is built

Like you can see, when a user is logged in he finds some articles, but, when he is logged out, he sees others articles.
When a user is logged out, he sees also articles that aren’t of the category chosen in backend for this visual composer block (see visual-composer.jpg attachment).

Ask us if you need other informations.
Thank you

Hi,
I have used tagdiv composer on other pages, but not on this page.

Hello,

You can create a page in the tagdiv composer and place the authors element on that page. it will bring a list of all the authors. There is no other predefined template that can do this.

Thank you!

Hello Red,

Please notice that all of our blocks can be found in TD Composer. The above code is a simple shortcode generated by our composer for Big Grid 9 Style 5 and these codes can be found here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/DciuF0Qlo

Thanks for your understanding!

Simion C.

Hi,

I believe this is already on our list, but please note that there may be other priorities at the moment. There are plans to modify the big grid slide or add a different slider in the composer. Of course there are many plans, so unfortunately I could not say when this will happen.
Indeed the Revolution slider is a very complex plugin with lots of settings. It may consume many resources once placed on pages.

I wanted to round the corners of all the blocks and grids of the site. I don’t know if I can do this with Theme Options, but I found a custom CSS code in the forum:

.td-module-thumb .entry-thumb{
border-radius:10px!important;
}

The results are these:
https://imgur.com/a/NvL3K

As you can see, the code works but there’s a grey color in the corner. How can I solve this?
(And, can I round a specific block with TD Composer?)
