Hi Anamaria,

I know about the custom ad placements via Composer/Cloud library. It’s not about the posts. My query is regarding adding more custom ad spots in theme panel via API/child theme. Hope you got my point. You may refer to this support trail for what I’m asking for.

Hi,

With tagDiv Composer, you can add the element Single Post Modified Date in Single Post Template, and you can change the additional text in “Last updated on” => https://www.screencast.com/t/EvfUQMfzkd, and the Single Post Modified Date will show you the last time you edited that post => https://www.screencast.com/t/j74uz43paZj
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/single-post-shortcodes/
You can duplicate the single post template, add the modified date, and assign a template only when you modify the posts to show the modified date.

Thank you!

Hello there,

I have customize the single post URL. Basically I have removed the top level category from post slug. But I don’t want to remove it from the breadcrumb.
I have already tried to figure out the code on single-loop.php, page.php, tagdiv-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_page_generator.php but no luck.

Can you please share any hook or the function which is powering up the cloud template breadcrumb?

Yes, you need to create the pages with tagdiv Composer.
You can also submit a request to our custom work team, and they can help convert the shortcodes from WP Bakery to tagdiv Composer shortcodes https://tagdiv.com/submit-a-request/

Hi,

Please edit the search page with the tagdiv Composer, click on the results(Posts Loop element) and delete the value of the offset posts. Let it empty with no space no value: https://app.screencast.com/Gh9jDf6t0XtLS
Save the changes and view the results.

I hope that helps you!

There is no issue with this rule. You can do the changes with tagdiv Composer https://i.imgur.com/bYyndL8.jpeg .

Hello!

In the cloud templates, you can add the ads when you edit the post with TagDiv Composer in the element called “Single Post Content” in the tab ADS. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/

Hi Setrey,
Normally if you are using standard templates, then the theme will automatically set a H1 on logo if there is no element for page title in the page/template, if there is a page title, then the H1 will be on it and not on logo.
Also, if there are using cloud templates then the H1 can be removed using the theme builder, tagDiv Composer.
Now in case that you want to edit the files, then I will recommend using a child theme and the files that should be edited are:
– wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-h1.php (replace the h1 with anther html tag like p/div/span …) – https://i.imgur.com/VTXpfNM.png
– wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-text.php (if you are using text logo) – https://i.imgur.com/9dGOsJI.png

Now for mobile theme if is used then it can be edited from here – wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/parts/logo.php unfortunately this will not work in a child theme.

I hope this will help!
Thank you!

Hello,

This option for fonts from Theme Panel is for older and standard templates.You can use global font from Manager(Website Manager) -> Global fonts -> https://i.imgur.com/iY0bh4Y.png
You need to edit with tagDiv Composer and change the font for each element that you want https://i.imgur.com/xp4zoTb.jpg

Hello!

I recommend you to use cloud templates, so you can use other blocks with many settings for the images from modules. Also, you need to have the same sizes for your images when you upload them.
We recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:

Hello!

Sure. You can display them inline if you are using a cloud template with the help of the tagdiv composer. Edit the cloud single post template with the tagdiv composer and add the elements Single Post Date and Single Post Modified Date. Make them inline: https://app.screencast.com/tk7qGp0ysCX0n and adjust them from the CSS tab.

Thank you!

Thank you. I turned off the “Background Box Layout” option as you suggested. Then I went to Theme Panel>>Misc>>Theme Background and removed the theme background image.

I was then able to stretch the content area using the TagDiv Composer Row>>Extra>>Row Stretch.

However, I was unable to stretch the header row using the same method. How can stretch the header area to full stretch? Thank you.

Hello, I am currently using the Newspaper theme with the Single Post Template – Center PRO
and I encounter a problem the shortcode block appearing to the right of the article is displayed below the article. on the other hand, in the td compose the shortcode with the list of articles is displayed correctly on the right. I tried with other shortcodes and it’s the same.
Screen copy of the td composer
From the td composer - shortcode is correctly displayed
Screen copy of the online page
The page on line

Do you have an idea ?

Hi,

A simple thing that I could not find an answer or setting for anywhere.

I would like to sort the posts on a ‘Category page’ (the page that lists all posts of a category) in an alphabetical order (A to Z).

Although I have configured the Home Page with tagDiv composer to show the posts in a category sorted by date, but wen a user clicks on a ‘Category’ and sees all the posts in that category listed, can i sort that view in an alphabetical order?

I thought this should be a simple setting, but I could not find it anywhere.

Please advise.

Thanks.

RESOLVED by changing fonts through TagDiv Composer, but you should really ensure that the global settings in the Theme Panel -> Theme Fonts work too. Those settings currently do nothing.

Hi,

This can be done only with the tagdiv opt-in builder plugin, and this is the page of my account that is set in the plugin. You need to have the plugin installed and activated and, after editing with tagdiv Composer add the element in the cloud header template.

Thank you!

Hi,

I think that you have malware on the website.
If you want to update the theme, you should download the latest version of it from Theme Forest account and download it.
I recommend that you update the theme manually https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ via FTP/cPanel/File Manager, also if possible disable extra plugins during the theme update to avoid any problems that may arise and make sure that you have activated the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the website’s look. You can try to update the theme on a staging website.
After you update the theme, you need to update the theme plugins too.
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
You could consider reinstalling the WordPress version, and checking for this plugin wp-zexit.php. It might be wise to inspect via FTP if it doesn’t appear in the WordPress -> Plugins. Additionally, using Wordfence to scan the website and remove unknown users would be prudent.
Change admin passwords and delete admin accounts you are not familiar with;
– Delete any weird/unknown plugins;
– Delete the weird/unknown themes;
– Clean unfamiliar Theme Panel injected code (example – https://i.imgur.com/4q70kCv.png);
– Clean WordPress files (example – https://i.imgur.com/stJCqiK.png)
Please block /wp-json/tdw/save_css
If an attacker wants to target this URL /wp-json/tdw/save_css they can do so. Even if the website uses a different theme, the attacker can still try that URL. We could add an option to be able to enable/disable the Live CSS, it will be considered. But for now in order to remove it this can only be done with a modification to the composer plugin. I think that all that removing it requires is to comment this line of code – https://prnt.sc/RtwvL5Nc4ikR -> https://prnt.sc/ymZmhdUfp57U But as I mentioned, the attacker can still try to access the URL.
If you want, you can contact our custom work team here, and they can help you update the theme safely: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/

Thank you!

Hi!

For years we use Newspaper theme (ver. 9.5). It works stable and without any major problems. But now would like to update it and I would like to aks, if update can be done directly to latest version (12.6.5) or it has to be done graduatelly (upgrades with all minor versions in between)? I’m asking that because I don’t know if any current customizations will get lost or will be preserved? With minimum tweaking possible.

And, there is a minor problem with Tag Div Composer plugin, which gets disabled randomly and page then show codes [tdc_zone][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″] etc. instead of content. Can this be somehow fixed? There are only few plugins installed (besides TagDiv’s which comes with Theme). I start temporarily disabling them in a hope that I will found a plugin which is responsible for disabling. Currently only 4 plugins are enabled:

  • Contact Form 7,
  • Cookie Notice,
  • tagDiv Composer,
  • TinyPNG – JPEG, PNG & WebP image compression

Is anyone problematic and reason for “tagDiv Composer” disables?

Thank you!
