Hello dougcuomo,
You used before on your homepage a Visual Composer element, named ->Homepage post, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/OzQJ1sHj -> http://screencast.com/t/NqxHT5fYzaQ and it is similar with our single_template_8 and has the same functionality…sorry for the confusion.
I have checked you website now and I saw that you have changed this feature with Big Grid and also the feature image is there, as you can see -> http://screencast.com/t/J7vzzWF2w Please add more than one post on your website if you want to fill all the grid with the featured images.
Let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hello samthompson,
I suppose you have a problem with pagination for the block. This kind of issues seems to be caused by conflicting plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, empty all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the plugins in conflict.
Let us know how it goes and if you need more assistance after this advice, please provide your website URL so I can further inspect the issue.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for the message!
Hello,
I have tested the menu and added quite a bit of items to it but could not recreate this error nor do we have reports of it. Please try to recreate your menu from scratch and see if it appears again. If you use any plugins to your menu please disable them or rather all of them except visual composer and clear cache to rule out a plugin conflict. You can also try to check your system status and see if any parameters need to be increased: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello ariangreatzone,
Please make sure you have installed correctly this plugin. Also, please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme. This kind of issue might be caused by conflicting plugins. For more information about how to instal Visual Composer, you should find in our documentation, here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
Please notice that Visual Composer is tested with our theme and works as expected.
After this advice, if your problem is still there, please let us know.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for the message!
Hi
You can find the homepage templates in Visual Composer page-builder: http://screencast.com/t/0XZijV9pu6
Hope this help.
Thanks!
Hi
I’ve checked your site and found some js errors in browser console: http://screencast.com/t/HZyK4uHa Try to deactivate all plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all caches including browser cache and test again. If the problem persist try to deactivate the lazy load animation from theme panel > template settings: http://screencast.com/t/cDIOCiEKQ4vF
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hello digitalmediadailyllc,
If you want to hide/exclude some posts from your sidebar, you can set it from Visual Composer (block settings) if you are using this way, like this: http://screencast.com/t/e2lsMaeM
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hello,
I’m not sure exactly what you mean but i will try to cover a few things. The category color can be set from the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/uuYAEhpmq but this color will only be visible on posts: http://screencast.com/t/3NqXqrge3
The category tags color on modules and blocks from the homepage cannot be changed from the theme panel and they will not receive the color you set for the particular category.
You could change these tag colors with css:
.td-post-category{
background-color:red
}
But this will affect all category tags:
http://screencast.com/t/gsDssegdvR
Another method to use the blocks with different colors is to set the color from visual composer like the example in the reply above.
Unfortunately these are the only controls the theme has at the moment regarding category tags.
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please double check your sidebars in the widgets area and make sure you have elements set to them. In rare cases we have heard of WP stripping the sidebars of elements. You can also try to disable all plugins except visual composer to rule out a plugin conflict.
Let us know if the problem is still there afterwards.
Thank you!
Hi,
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by the update to version 6 but eventually you will need to update your theme to the latest version as more and more features will not work anymore due to updates to wp or php or plugins so version 4 is getting deprecated slowly but surely. Please allow some time and update your theme. Do it on a testing site (sub-domain) and see how bad the damage will be…It will not be as drastic as you may think. We tried our best to maintain compatibility between version 4 and version 6. You will only need to remove a few widgets from the side-bar, and recreate a few elements in visual composer. You will probably have to reset the post templates to their default from the DB. Luckily there is an easy method to do it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/change-style-of-multiple-posts-at-once/
Thank you!
Hello,
It seems your system status parameters are not set properly. Please follow this guide and set them: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
It could also be a plugin conflict. Please disable all of them except visual composer to rule out a plugin conflict and check again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello!
We are having issues with our visual composers.
I did delete and reinstalled it according to direction for updating the plugging.
Here is what is happening:
We need to create custom pages.
When I go to a page and click on the back end editor and add elemens. No elements are shown
http://screencast.com/t/thttCCDAA
Additionally I believe that Visual composer has a front end editor but I’m never able to see it on our website.
Here is their demo on their site:
http://screencast.com/t/thttCCDAA
At first I thought maybe I have to purchase a separate license but upon reading more I learned that it’s the same.
What do you think is happening?
#1 Why dont I have a front end editor?
#2 Why my back end editor is not showing up?
Thank you
This is my first week on Newspaper so forgive me for such a simple problem but any help would be appreciated.
I have a page made – “home” – and on the home page it has five rows. Each row has one element (1 big grid, 4 block 16 respectively).
When I go to edit > Column Settings > Design Options, and choose a background color of red, save, update, the color I have chosen has disappears and the default blank white color persist.
This is also duplicated on a page with just a text block on a single row.
Is there something I’m doing wrong or does border color change only save with certain requirements.
Update:
I did a quick test renaming the current newspaper directory to newspaper5 and then uploading the latest version as newspaper. All looked well until I disabled the WPBakery Visual Composer plugin. Then the website showed error 500.
I was able to get the website back by renaming the original newspaper5 back to newspaper.
But I guess I am kind of stuck on 6.5.1 now!

Hi,
When using visual composer on posts, you cannot add content above the article top sharing as the elements will be placed inside the post content which is positioned below the article top sharing. The big grey area comes from the post template you chose (template 3) but even if you use another template, you will still not be able to set a big grid above the top sharing. You will need to alter the theme files for this.
Thank you!
Hello navneetjain14,
The Trending Now is a Visual Composer element and you can enable it from VC plugin, like this: http://screencast.com/t/dtRIQSUca and then you can control it from his panel, like this: http://screencast.com/t/BgpoL0vqO0n
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello danoah,
I’ve checked your website on iPhone and I saw the problem. You have a lot of errors in your console as you can see here: http://screencast.com/t/hda7gEFPrf. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, empty all your caches, purge the CDN file if used and install only the plugin that come bundled with our theme. Your errors could be caused by your untested plugins that you are using in your theme. Please rule out the conflicting plugins and try to test again. After this advice, if your problem is still there, please let us know.
Hope this helps!

Hello Robertocarlos,
Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the plugins in conflict and try it again. After this advice, if your problem is still there, please let us know. It is very important to follow this steps because the Visual Composer is an tested plugin with our theme and works perfectly. Maybe any untested plugin used by you could cause this problem.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello cityslicker444,
Please ensure you have disabled all the active plugins, except Visual Composer and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the plugins in conflict. I have tested this plugin in our theme and everything work as expected.
About the comments from Visual Composer forum, we have not reports and we do not know to be an official problem with this plugin. You can check this using a default theme and see if the problem persists.
If, after these attempts, your problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information so we can further inspect the issue. Also, please copy/paste the link of this topic so we know who you are and what the problem is.
Hope this helps!

Hello,
The area has been changed in version 6.6.3 due to the visual composer version being changed. You can still add templates from this button: http://screencast.com/t/F0UPZqsbtGb and a dropdown will be displayed: http://screencast.com/t/XumIeFcMio
Thank you!
Hello toros9,
Our theme has this option and when you want to share other posts on facebook will display the author name, like this: http://screencast.com/t/X9va7aOglP You have control on this feature from td_wp_booster_functions.php file like this: http://screencast.com/t/ThEgEFxgw6F Please inspect this file on your back end and check if you have this code. SEO Yoast Plugin is tested on our theme and works properly with default settings. I have no idea why do not work for you. If you use another Plugin for Seach Engine Optimization, try to disable it, maybe cause this problem and try it again.
Also, you can try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, empty all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
