Hi @Anamaria,

Thank you for your response. Where exactly is this Custom CSS code set? I see the class but I can nowhere track down from where it is defined. The custom css section in tagdive composer for this element is empty, also the themes custom css section and the wordpress default site edit custom css section, all empty.

Looking forward to your answer.
Thank you!

Hello @cassiano12 !

Yes, or the cache plugin. We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.

Hi,

My recommendation is that before updating the theme to make a full backup for the database and current website, disbale the extra plugins during the update process, after that update the theme manually – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ (after the theme update, make sure that the needed plugins are installed, like tagDiv Composer, maybe tagDiv Standard Pack and tagDiv Cloud Library).
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/

Thank you!

Hello @rgv!

That element is from the Visual Composer. Please use the element Slide from the TagDiv Composer plugin and update the theme.

Hello,

I have this event management plugin Eventin. My question is related to using it together with Tagdiv Composer.

When I add a content block to a page I can display the events using Filter – Post Type: “etn” (their taxonomy slug). This shows all events created by the plugin… I wonder if it’s possible to filter events additionally in Tagdiv Composer by their categories and tags (which are also generated by the plugin: the taxonomy is “etn_category” and “etn_tags”). I.e., I’d like to sort events in a Composer content block according to a certain category or a certain tag, in a similar way that it can be done with WordPress posts. (Ideally, the event categories would be added in the Filter tab, together or instead of the post categories, which won’t be used in this project.)

I’d be very grateful for any advice or suggestion for a workaround.

These are the admin credentials, if needed:

We are currently experiencing performance issues after adding some new blocks with the composer on our start page.

I remember I solved these issues in the past by changing the interval on when the page checks if there is are new article/post published. As I understand the composer-block does this check by default with every request of the page.

I remember, there was an option to change this interval – but I don’t find the place anymore where I can change the configuration.

Does anybody know where I can change this interval?

Hello!

Edit it with the TagDiv Composer, scroll down and click on that element. There is actually a recycle bin basket for every element https://www.screencast.com/t/wFYdqgpo6pT

WP Toolkit has detected new vulnerabilities on WordPress sites under your care. It is strongly recommended to update or disable vulnerable assets on these sites. You can also configure WP Toolkit to perform automatic actions when vulnerabilities are detected.

Site URL: https://themailbd.com/

Can anyone tell me? Why is that showing this problem? My side is loading very high. The site is very slow. What’s wrong with TagDiv Composer?

ersandrino

It is now well known that he is the composer. But it is also known that several years have passed and you still cannot find a solution to definitively resolve the problem.

Thank you for the suggestion, but I would like to answer you here too. Tagdiv offers a template for sale with different “graphics”, and if I decide to buy a template because I find it interesting that it has some functions, why should I have slowdowns during loading?

It would be more correct for you to have different prices based on the templates. Pay the performing ones more and pay the less performing ones less.

I repeat, that the speed tests I carried out were done directly from your sales portal! You even recently created this latest template: URBAN EDGE which gives terrible results on the main Google portal as shown by this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/6il5G99NgP_m.
I have a strange feeling of scam when

Hello!

@Gyanitechnews
My colleague will check the issues and reply as soon as possible. Please be patient.

@ersandrino
This is caused by the TagDv composer’s elements. Our developers are aware of this issue and try to synthesize the composer, which is big, and fix the major problems of the theme and speed. There are a lot of factors which can make your site slow. Make sure you use only some templates and fewer functionalities and options.

Thank you so much for your understanding!

Hello,

The tagdiv analyzer is only beta; we recommend it only if you have a few blocks on the page and a standard style.
The page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view. Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website. A good choice for the page speed, could be the mobile layout which contains fewer elements because it can improve a bit your page speed.
There are many optimization guides provided by our users here in the forum, some made by us; you could check some of them

Also, pagespeed is not covered by support -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/

If you use Wp Rocket, you can try to exclude the following files
/jquery-?[0-9.](.*)(.min|.slim|.slim.min)?.js
/jquery-migrate(.min)?.js
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js
tdBlocksArray

The content zone is bigger than the TD Composer header Zone. So the header zone is not aligned with content and shorter than the content zone. How do I make the header zone also same size of the content zone?

Hi,

You can edit the homepage with tagdiv Composer and replace the big grid with a big grid flex -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/big-grid-flex-settings/

Hi,

Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edited with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

Thank you!

we have our site in italy at aruba.it, recently the site goes off line or we can’t pubish the news, the hosting company said the problem is the tag div opt, here is what they wrote

“Dear customer, from the checks carried out the slowdowns on the MySQL database were caused by the plugin tagDiv Composer which executes slow queries on the wp_postmeta concatenated with multiple inner joins on the same type table: the table in question has over 1 million rows as can be seen from the MySQL database.

I translated it the best I could, thanks for any help
