Hello,
How do I insert and edit an FAQ section on my pages with the Tagdiv Composer?
I havent been able to find one in the cloud, except for 4 different ones that I was not able to modify to make more “steps”. So can you guys please guide me in the right direction, for where I can build a FAQ section on my websites page?
hi, i had this message in my wordpress:
tagDiv Composer has a known vulnerability that may be affecting your installed version.
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (‘Cross-site Scripting’) vulnerability in tagDiv tagDiv Composer td-composer allows Reflected XSS.This issue affects tagDiv Composer: from n/a through <= 5.4.3.
Esta vulnerabilidad no parece tener parche. Presta atención a las próximas actualizaciones del plugin.
tagDiv Composer <= 5.4.5 – Reflected Cross-Site Scripting
The tagDiv Composer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including, 5.4.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
I recently noticed that Newspaper no longer recognizes my license. The dashboard shows that the theme is not registered, even though the license was correctly activated before. How can I fix this issue?
Dear tagDiv Support,
I am using the Newsmag theme purchased through ThemeForest.
My ESET antivirus detects one of the tagDiv plugins as a potential threat. I would like to know whether this is a known false positive or if there is an updated version of the plugin that resolves this issue.
The detected plugin is: tagDiv Composer.
The antivirus reports the following threat:
HTML/Scinject.B trojan.
Could you please investigate this issue and let me know how I can safely resolve it?
If necessary, I can provide screenshots of the ESET warning and any additional information you may need.
Thank you for your assistance.
Kind regards,
WordFence is warning of a “critical vulnerability” with the TagDiv composer plugin. Is there a patch or update expected soon?
Hi, I’m using tagDiv Composer on a page-type entry. When I add a “Column text” module inside a column and click the “Edit Content” button to open the text editor (WP Editor), the popup opens but stays stuck loading indefinitely with a spinning icon, never actually showing the WordPress editor.
Steps to reproduce:
Open the tagDiv Composer editor on an entry/page.
Add a Row with columns.
Drag the “Column text” module into an empty column.
Click “Edit Content” in the module’s settings panel.
The “WP Editor” popup opens but the content never finishes loading (infinite spinner).
Expected behavior: the WordPress text editor (WP Editor) should open so I can write/paste content, including shortcodes.
Actual behavior: the popup stays loading forever and doesn’t let me edit the module’s content.
Additional context: I specifically need this module because the “Raw HTML” module doesn’t execute WordPress shortcodes (it displays them as plain text on the frontend), and “Column text” should process them correctly.
Environment: WordPress with Newspaper theme / tagDiv Composer. Relevant active plugins: Advanced Ads, WP Fastest Cache, WPCode, Popup Maker, SEO plugin (Yoast or similar), among others.
Could you let me know if this is a known bug, or if there might be a plugin/cache conflict causing the editor not to load?
That standard post template is not actually meant to be used on the website, except temporarily for the situation when there is no post template set. The backup standard template has no customization options.
I believe you installed this theme demo -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_downtown_pro/ On your website I see that except the homepage you are no longer using any of the templates provided with the demo, like the header, footer, post template, category template. This is fine, you can use the templates you want.
The post template that comes with that demo is this one -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_downtown_pro/2022/03/08/the-scars-of-war-will-remain-there-for-life-published-study-finds/ If you want to use a different post template, it’s perfectly possible. And if you want it to look like the backup standard template, you could use this one -> https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/single/single/Single/11 Please import it on the website -> then customize it with the composer and set it globally.
Using a cloud post template will replace the standard backup post template, which is normal. But you can easily customize the cloud post template adn make it look as you want. I can help as well, let me know.
Thank you!
Hello tagDiv team,
I’m working on a WordPress website using the Newspaper theme and tagDiv Composer.
I have an issue with one page where some old text content is still visible on the frontend/editor, but I cannot find or remove it.
The page was previously created/edited with Elementor, before switching to Newspaper/tagDiv Composer. Now I’m editing the page with tagDiv Composer, but old text sections are still displayed on the page, for example:
“Allenamenti in casa”
“Allenamenti in palestra”
“Obiettivi: massa, definizione, resistenza”
The problem is:
When I open the page with tagDiv Composer, these texts are visible, but I cannot select them as tagDiv elements.
If I click on them, no editable element is selected.
When I open the page in the normal WordPress editor, I only see a large shortcode/tagDiv content block, but searching with CTRL+F does not find those text strings.
I also checked the normal page content, but I cannot locate where this old Elementor content is stored.
I need to completely remove these old text sections from the page.
Could you please tell me where this content may be coming from?
Could it be stored in old Elementor meta fields, a Newspaper/tagDiv template, page custom fields, category description, or another theme setting?
What is the safest way to remove this old content without breaking the current tagDiv layout?
If needed, we can provide temporary WordPress admin access so you can check the page directly.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Sara
Hi,
Currently I see just one page title in the page -> https://prnt.sc/h2dwbjfjslyj That title is displayed by the theme.
To explain a bit, by default all pages use the default page template -> https://prnt.sc/la5LL16mBQ3X Then it depends on how the page is built.
If the page is built with the wordpress editor, meaning you add content from here -> https://prnt.sc/idQaLUKz5C_J then the theme will display the title automatically. Normally a title is displayed in the page.
If the page is built with the composer -> https://prnt.sc/XrM_UaoZQS8W then the theme will not display the title, unless you add it in the page with the composer -> https://prnt.sc/b_8-puhMmy5G
So one solution would be to use the theme composer to build the page. Or, if you just want to quickly hide the titles for a few pages, then they could be hidden with some CSS, for example -> https://prnt.sc/0qenWAO4oTo2 This is quick and easy, and more IDs can be added in that code.
Let me know if I can help more.
Thank you!
Hi,
That issue was referring to the button element from the composer, and was fixed in the previous theme version -> https://prnt.sc/y5HtaW_Cv_87
Patchstack hasn’t marked it as fixed however, so we resubmitted the composer plugin for validation -> https://prnt.sc/qWwI5hE75l3i After they check as well, the issue should be marked as solved/patched.
Improving the theme is an ongoing task, and we try to fix such issues as soon as possible.
Thank you!
Hello TagDiv Support Team,
I’m using the Newspaper theme with tagDiv Composer on my WordPress website MyBody.it.
I changed the WordPress language to Italian, but many parts of the theme/interface are still not translated. From what I can see, there are more than 500 strings/phrases that would need to be translated manually.
Before proceeding manually, I would like to understand if there is a faster and official way to translate all these theme strings into Italian.
Could you please let me know:
Is there an automatic or recommended method to translate all Newspaper/tagDiv strings into Italian?
Is there an Italian language file available for the theme?
Can this be handled through the theme panel, Loco Translate, WPML, TranslatePress, or another recommended plugin?
Is there a way to import a ready-made Italian translation file instead of translating every single string manually?
Are tagDiv Composer blocks and theme elements supposed to translate automatically when WordPress is set to Italian?
At the moment, translating more than 500 strings manually would be extremely time-consuming and not really acceptable for a premium theme. If there is no faster solution, this would be quite disappointing from a usability point of view.
If needed, we can provide temporary WordPress admin access so you can check the issue directly.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Sara
Hello,
I am getting repeated PHP warnings inside TagDiv Composer:
Warning: Undefined array key "location" in
/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/includes/tdb_config.php
on line 63782
The warnings appear across the Composer interface and make it difficult to edit my templates. I am also unable to save changes in TagDiv Composer.
Could you please advise what could cause this and how to fix it? Could it be a compatibility issue between my PHP version, Newspaper theme, TagDiv Composer, and TagDiv Cloud Library?
I have attached a screenshot. Thank you for your help.
If the img doesn’t appear : https://ibb.co/vxyNVKS3
This seems to be happening a lot lately, what are our options going forward?
Hi,
No problem.
1. That’s possible. The active color for the links in the mobile menu can be set in the theme panel -> https://prnt.sc/JCEFjWULjfqE
2. Are you referring to the socials displayed in the mobile menu? If so, that isn’t possible unfortunately.
If you want to customize the mobile menu more, or in detail, then you could use a popup instead. Like we use on some of the demos -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_urban_observer_pro/ On mobile the menu is a popup. A popup can be set to open a page which you can build with the composer. Then you could add the social icons in that page, and change the order of the socials -> https://prnt.sc/YnyOx4ivkzlV While it is more work, sometimes using a popup instead of the regular mobile menu can be useful.
If you want to know more about popups there is a guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-popup/
Thank you!
Hi,
That is possible with the composer. Each row has this option -> https://prnt.sc/mlcFlcbistnz and that option can be activated per viewport -> https://prnt.sc/mV_kBq1OCTMa
So if you want a row to be visible only on desktop, you can switch to these 3 viewports and set the row to hidden -> https://prnt.sc/Ct1T0QAnb3nw Then the row will be visible only on desktop. Or, hide the other row on these 3 viewports to see it only on mobile -> https://prnt.sc/oeDv6rL22e4p
In case you hide the row by mistake on all viewports, or you want to see the hidden rows in the composer so you don’t forget about them, you can activate this setting -> https://prnt.sc/gQQxLXgPTk1Q Then you will see them in the composer, but they will still be hidden on the website.
Please try it.
Thank you!
Hi,
There’s no such sorting method unfortunately.
You could modify the 7 days filter, it’s in this file -> wp-content\plugins\td-composer\legacy\common\wp_booster\td_data_source.php
If you search in that file there will be a section like this -> https://prnt.sc/uOluDxQiHdJj
Then change the “1 week ago” to for example “30 days ago”. I believe it should work, the block should then display random posts from the last 30 days.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you!
After updating our website from the previous WordPress version to WordPress 7.0.1, we encountered several critical issues with the Newspaper theme.
Environment
Theme: Newspaper
WordPress: 7.0.1
PHP: (please fill in your PHP version)
Website: https://suckhoemoi.com
Issues
Frontend displays raw shortcode/JSON instead of rendering the page properly.
Pages show raw tagDiv content instead of the designed layout.
Gutenberg editor reports:
“This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.”
Eventually, the entire WordPress admin became inaccessible with a “There has been a critical error on this website” message.
Troubleshooting
We investigated the issue and found that the problem is caused by td-composer.
Renaming the td-composer plugin folder immediately restored access to the WordPress admin.
After disabling td-composer, the critical error disappeared.
This strongly suggests that the current version of td-composer is not compatible with WordPress 7.0.1.
Expected behavior
The Newspaper theme and td-composer should work correctly with WordPress 7.0.1 without causing:
Critical PHP errors
Gutenberg block errors
Frontend rendering issues
Could you please confirm:
Is WordPress 7.0.1 officially supported?
Is there an updated version of td-composer compatible with WordPress 7.0.1?
If not, when will a compatible update be released?
Thank you for your support.
Best regards.
Hi,
If the sticky bar you are referring to is this row displayed at the bottom on mobile -> https://prnt.sc/1LzN6S1iisda then it is indeed loaded together with the rest of the page. Making a row sticky doesn’t mean that it’s content is loaded with a delay, there’s no option for something like that unfortunately and I can’t provide instructions on how it could be done. The only load delay the theme provides is for mega-menus, popups, footer, which were made by our developers as options in the composer and theme panel.
If maybe that sticky row is needed just for tablet/mobile, you could use a mobile page to stop loading it unnecessarily on desktop -> https://prnt.sc/igZ3qKBfCvvi I see no sticky row on desktop at this time, only on mobile.
The page is already very fast on desktop -> https://prnt.sc/JOg1CSHQz3aK and on mobile -> https://prnt.sc/KGKTTUvDDi5S due to the WP Rocket optimization for CSS and JS. And I see that the automatic lazy rendering is working as well -> https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/1835-automatic-lazy-rendering The website is very fast.
Thank you!
Unfortunately I still don’t quite understand the problem.
If there is a problem with the composer, I can take a look directly on the website. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin user and pass for the website. I will edit the homepage with the composer to see what happens exactly.
Concerning the fonts in the post page, from what I see the post pages are using a basic post template. I assume you want to use a cloud post template, or you were using one before, which looks like the rest of the website. Please check if the cloud post template is set -> https://prnt.sc/_S5MQXxVZ8qx
Thank you!
Hi,
I see there was some work done on the review section a while ago in a previous update. The reason was to fix the case when using the points review type, when users were adding commas instead of periods in the values -> https://prnt.sc/zv18e5RW2iYU This lead to calculation problems for the review.
The fix was to automatically transform the commas to periods, intended just for that points input field specifically. But it seems to apply to all the inputs, including the feature name.
I could provide a quickfix for this issue. Please download this file from here -> https://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/td_set_post_settings.zip
Unzip it and there will be a PHP file. That file must replace the existing file via this path in the composer -> wp-content\plugins\td-composer\legacy\common\wp_booster\wp-admin\content-metaboxes
If you want I can do it on your website, and I’ll also test to see if the issue is solved. You can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to the website, admin user and pass, also access to cPanel or FTP.
We are very sorry for this inconvenience.
Thank you!
Hello, I received a notification regarding the “WordPress tagDiv Composer plugin <= 5.4.3 – Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability (CVE-2026-57734).” I can’t dismiss the notification, but is a fix expected? I also have this link: https://patchstack.com/database/wordpress/plugin/td-composer/vulnerability/wordpress-tagdiv-composer-plugin-5-4-3-reflected-cross-site-scripting-xss-vulnerability
From the home page, I get the “edit with Tagdiv composer” message, but when inside a content page, I don’t get the message. The font is also showing different from the home page.
Hello tagDiv Support,
I recently purchased a new Regular License for Newsmag and downloaded the current full package directly from ThemeForest.
The package is Newsmag 5.4.3.6, and the bundled file:
Newsmag-tf/plugins/js_composer.zip
contains WPBakery Page Builder 8.7.2.
Our website currently uses WPBakery 6.13.0, and the homepage depends directly on WPBakery shortcodes. We need to update it securely without breaking compatibility with Newsmag, tagDiv Composer, or the existing homepage layout.
WPBakery’s official changelog lists version 8.7.3 with an additional security-related fix involving capability and nonce verification for frontend preview requests.
Could you please confirm:
1. Whether you can provide a Newsmag-tested WPBakery 8.7.3 package;
2. Whether WPBakery 8.7.3 is officially compatible with Newsmag 5.4.3.6 and may be installed manually;
3. Or whether you recommend installing the bundled WPBakery 8.7.2 version while waiting for a future Newsmag update.
Please also confirm whether an updated ThemeForest package is planned.
Thank you.
Hi Simion,
Thank you very much for your help. That was exactly the issue.
I hadn’t realised the background image was set in the footer row’s CSS within the Composer. After following your instructions, I was able to remove the default bridge image and everything is now working as expected.
I really appreciate your clear guidance and quick response. Thanks again!
