I am trying to embed a form to sign up for newsletters from WPForms into our main page using the [wpforms id=”900″] shortcode, but I don’t see an option for entering shortcode in the tagdiv composer. So I switched to just entering it in the classic editor, but as soon as I make an update to the page using the tagdiv composer, it eliminates the shortcode. Is there a way to either enter shortcode in the tagdiv composer or make it so that it stops deleting the shortcode from the classic editor as soon as I switch back to tagdiv composer? Thanks!
Hi,
If you want to add OK as a social icon, what you can do is to use a cloud header and a cloud footer, in this way you add an icon using tagDiv Composer, then set the SVG icon for Ok and the full link -> https://i.imgur.com/eSSrFYq.png
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hello,
This video is old, many changes have been made to our theme and that guide is deprecated -> https://i.imgur.com/T0dtzxn.png that is why I recommend another guide updated -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/
As I said, you can do those styles with tagDiv Composer, these options are used for Standard Templates, so if you want to use then you need to activate the tagDiv standard pack, but this can not be customised with tagDiv Composer.
The cloud templates are more flexible.
Also, you can import different styles/ blocks for cloud templates from tagDiv Cloud Library -> https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Category
Also, you can create the sidebar with tagDiv Composer like in this article -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/
Thank you!
Hello,
You need to delete the element -> https://i.imgur.com/KZTyvCv.png with right-click, clear all cache and add it again.
Thank you!
Hi,
The code was for entire website where was injected that code. If you want to be only for the header, then you can try it like this -> https://i.imgur.com/VzscXz5.png
.td-header-template-wrap .td_block_wrap {
margin-bottom: 0;
}
Like you said, there are elements that by default have set a margin or padding and all elements have in tagDiv Composer a css tab from where can be adjusted. For example this https://i.imgur.com/OFEZBRz.png is a margin -> https://i.imgur.com/CsOlY71.png
I hope this will help you!
Hi,
That message appears because there is no menu set.
For mobile menu, there can be a few situations.
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, the menu need to be set from here -> https://i.imgur.com/DAqOVDs.png if is a responsive version, and is made with cloud templates, the it can be done with tagDiv Composer, for this you can use our guide from here ->https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/
And the last situation, in case that you are using standard templates (not the mobile theme plugin or cloud templates), then the menu will be take from here -> https://i.imgur.com/q0k5Tfb.png
I hope this will help you!
Hi muktipolice,
If this is on Newspaper and you are using cloud templates, then you can edit the single post template with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/gIzCOSv.png -> ad the author box under the next prev element -> https://i.imgur.com/dh3fqfy.png also the borders can be set in css tab per element -> https://i.imgur.com/JB0aR92.png
I hope this will help. If there are still some problems, please provide some more details and some screenshots.
Thank you!
Hello,
To show the author on the blocks, please edit with tagDiv Composer, select the block and in the tab called “Layout” is the option to show the author -> https://i.imgur.com/3Zo0njy.png
If you do not mean this, then please provide more information about what you need to achieve, screenshots or a video in order to help you efficiently.
Thank you!
Hi dizajn, if the files are from scratch fresh install, then I think that something is interfering, because those post title should be full display like in my screenshot.
Yes, that will work, just make sure that after the theme update you also update the theme plugins (you’ll need to install tagDiv Standard Pack to use the old templates).
The theme should be updated via FTP, by replacing the old theme with the new one (replace not overwrite), in case that there are custom changes in the theme files, those will be lost. After that install the theme plugin tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Standard Pack and the rest of the theme plugins if you using (social counter, newsletter).
I hope this will help you!
Hello,
Please make sure you have the tagDiv plugins activated, that you use like tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloyd Library, tagDiv Opt-In Builder.
Thank you!
Hello,
We do not encourage you to use Wp Bakery at all. Please note that the WP Bakery has a conflict with the tagDiv Composer. Please use only one builder and not both. So, I gladly recommend you to shift from WPBakery to Composer, because WPBakery is an old builder plugin. Please check our guide to know how to shift from WPBakery to Composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/6xLVMmlsY ; https://www.screencast.com/t/zWHrRmK1LQC ; https://www.screencast.com/t/vuFdT9Stx ; https://www.screencast.com/t/DWbSf3qj ; https://www.screencast.com/t/QuHyGccTK71v

Hello,
To edit the footer/header/templates please check this documentation
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
because I think you saw the documentation deprecated with standard templates
Our theme is a frontend theme for most of the elements and changes, you’ll need to use the tagDiv Composer to edit the pages and templates for posts/categories, etc => https://i.imgur.com/I3OUYxr.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/mMrEufY.jpg
Please check this video about how can create a website from scratch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg
Thank you!

I can i fix this? What am I doing wrong? Help?
And I wouldnt be angry if you could tell me how to get rid of the green box at the top as well.
Thanks
Hello,
We are not using a custom TagDiv composer search results template.
Can the search suggestions that show up in the header drop down as you type be changed? We would like it to match the search results page. Right now the two are not displaying the same posts for the same search term.
Thanks-
Stan
Hello tagdiv team!
Running a website with 10.3.9.1. In theme panel –> ads there are many adspots. But when editing in TD composer, there are only 7 – header, sidebar, custom ad 1-5. Why is that? All of these are already in use. How can i add others?
Hi,
When you check theme in tagDiv Composer, the social share are looking the same? If is looking correctly, then the problem is related to an extra plugin.
If is not the same, then please use the right click to copy and past the social share style -> https://i.imgur.com/dJra3nt.png
Thank you!
Hello,
I’m sorry, but I can not understand what you need to achieve.
Please provide more information about what you need to achieve, screenshots or an example in order to help you efficiently.
Also, let me explain to you how our theme works.
The posts settings that you refer to are from an “older” tagDiv plugins, is called tagDiv Standard Pack (you need to activate it), but now we recommend using Cloud Templates that are more options and can be customised with our page builder, tagDiv Composer.
A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link, paste it here.
Thank you!
Hello!
We have an element in the TagDiv Composer which can be set in the single cloud template called “Single post next prev”.
Thank you!
Hi,
This can be done per block using tagDiv Composer, just select the block and search after pagination -> https://i.imgur.com/2us9EQv.png -> https://i.imgur.com/IrXBcNY.png
I hope this will help you!
Hello @gp_media!
Standard Pack plugin is for default templates.
We do not encourage you to use Wp Bakery at all. Please note that the WP Bakery has a conflict with the TagDiv Composer. Please use only one builder and not both. Hello,
Please let me know what options are missing, because you have categories templates from tagDiv Cloud Library, you can edit them frontend with tagdiv Composer -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/
Thank you!
Hello Jim,
If the button “Edit with tagDiv Composer” is not displayed in the top bar please check this article https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
Hello! After updating from an older version of Newspaper, everything works well, except that I can no longer edit pages with TagDiv Composer. I get “page not found” as a response, directly after pressing the button “Edit with TagDiv Composer”.
I’ve read up a bit on your forum, and have tried the following: Making sure SSL is activated, deactivating non-TagDiv-plugins. To no avail. The console says “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()”. I see others have had similar problems, and then you have asked them to email you. What do you say in my case?
Hi
I am trying to make changes to my Home page, but the tagDiv Composer isn’t showing (or isn’t visible), so I am unable to use it.
My site url is https://naturalnewsdesk.co.uk
Any help with restoring this would be appreciated. You can probably guess I at very beginner level with code, so have been unable to get anywhere with the fixes suggested here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
Thanks. Jim
