After I uninstalled and reinstalled the Demo Medicine PRO everything works again, but I have to make all settings again.

Author pages are created automatically by WordPress, by default. The theme provides the template for it.
You can use either the default template, which looks like this https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/author/admin/
Or a cloud author template, there are quite a few to choose from https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Author
The template can be set in the theme panel https://prnt.sc/w2eese

That can be disabled. Edit the post template with the composer and disable it. For example, from a post page these are the steps

Most newer demos have infinite load active for posts, but that can be disabled if it is not needed. Please try it.

There is also the revolution slider, which is used by us in a few demos, it is a very powerful plugin for creating sliders

Worth mentioning is also the pagination that is available for blocks. For example this block design that is used in a theme demo

These would be the choices. You could always try some plugins if you require a specific slider that the theme does not provide.

Hi,
After the last theme update the mobile site switches randomly to desktop page. Even when there is no desktop version existing. and..it is not the actual homepage > navigation and logo are like the demo content.
I noticed flushing the cache helps to reset this but after some time the problem returns.
This happens also with articles. first all is good and the suddenly the article is served as desktop page while other articles are still served as mobile..
I even rolled back the update > theme and plugins but with no result.. so updated again. Problem still there.
Please investigate.

Hey there! I am having a problem editing blocks and grids’s parameters through the TagDiv Composer. Although Layout tab(settings) worked fine in another template (Newspaper Pro), in Newspaper Magazine template did not. I does not even showing up to select and i can’t figure out why? The theme is the same, Newspaper. Can you please help me somehow?

If you are new to Newspaper Theme I personally recommend you using the PRO Demos and cloud library templates. Standard pack is a plugin that “keeps alive” the old designs like normal blocks, standard templates, etc.
If you will use only Cloud library templates and PRO demo I recommend you to remove it.

i created a header template i designed myself. the header is an image (not a small logo but an image that stretches across the top row) .. but every day i look at the site and i see that it reverted to a generic grey row that says “newspaper”. if i add my image to the section that says “logo/favicon” i see my image in a tiny rectangle on top of that grey generic header… PLEASE TELL ME how to get my custom designed header to show on my site without the generic demo one showing through!!! i designed the header from scratch so i don’t know why it’s showing the text logo!! when i log in it looks fine and after logging in if i refresh the page where i saw the text logo it goes back to mine.

Everything listed by you, Vlad, is not related to the topic of discussion! I’m trying to tell you that any pro demo still has a bunch of extra code connected to the header
and loading the first screen is far from ideal, we are not talking about content! I get the feeling that the main task is not admit the problem and fix it. Just write that we don’t care about Google’s December update and we do not recognize the problem as these improvements are not included in our plans. I do not want to give the address of my site because the problem is the same in all demos as well as on my site.
I am using the podcast demo with newspaper. In the post featured audio looks for a soundcloud url. I would like to change the demo to look for a podcast from anchor.fm Is that possible? How might I do that.

I got two problems with the social media widget which works fine with facebook and twitter to count followers. For my instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/bblprofis.de/) it does not work when i enter the username bblprofis.de. Any ideas for this?
And another question – where can i change the Description of each media behind the logo. For facebook its fans which is ok but for twitter for example it’s “Nachfolger” and that’s because Follower is translated in german language even it’s used as Follower here as well.

2. If you use a standard demo (not pro demo) the same implementation from Newsmag should work, if is a pro demo, then you need to try a different implementation. Hi everyone,
i do my first steps with this theme and so far i am playing and i found how to use the grid blocks for example. But in the demo for “Fast News” i see different things under the first slider. How it’s possible to do the “Check out The Best Entertainment Systems that Will Hit the Market in June” content and the others next to each other? Or the next one with looking like columns with content inside and outside for example social media icons?
Perhaps someone can help me with this. Thank you

Hi chip303, if you want only to see the demo/Prebuilt Site, you can do it by clicking on the one you like from here -> https://i.imgur.com/X0D31Ss.jpg
Also if you want to trey a demo, then it will be better to test it on localhost or subdomain in this way you’ll keep the live website intact. Or if you want to check only some templates, then you can get theme from tagDiv Cloud Library and you can edit all of them with tagDiv Composer.
