Hi,
All then modules require a particular thumbnail to display. This thumbnail is created form the featured image you set for your posts
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
Some elements like Big grids for example, require a bigger thumbnail size. More information here about the image size the demo uses here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/
If you use small images, in the big modules the original image will be used.
Thanks
Hi,
These are all the capabilities and requirements of the smart lists
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-lists/
There is no limit to the list items, you can have as many as you want. Also the order of the items can be changed in the smart list settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/90gdV8I1
There are smart list templates that have the option to display an ad inside the list content
– https://www.screencast.com/t/LCZPGjkDC1cv
You can see these smart list templates in the live demo
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/whitewater-rafting-day-trip-new-york-east/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/10-landscapes-wont-even-imagined-exist/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/apple-ipad-pro-review-powerful-ipad-experience/
The option to create a smart list is not available for pages, only for posts in the post settings

Hello,
The erotic magazine demo has a few css changes including the removal of the top padding.
You can add it in by using this code in your theme panel -> custom css box:
.td-erotic .td-main-page-wrap{
padding-top:24px;
}
Change the value in the code to your liking.
I’m not sure how the grids are not formatted properly. They seem fine to me.
Thanks.
Hi,
If you followed the plugin installation instructions and it is not working properly, maybe the plugin is not compatible with the theme. Try a different one instead, you could find one that works properly.
There are blocks in the theme that have the Read more button displayed. All the block can be found here (use selection on the right)
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
Thanks
Thanks for the information.
I installed the demo “News Magazine”
How can I make the picture sizes that are used in posts on my site http://mysleepapnea DOT net/ so that they are the same size as the pictures used in the demo https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_magazine/
On my site, some pictures are too small in the posts. What sized pictures are they using in the demo in the various blocks so that I will know how to size my pictures?
I am using 8.1 Newspaper with Old Fashion Full Demo theme. In the Customizing / Site Identity section there is no Logo button, and facebook’s dev tools reports this issue/error:
////
Warnings That Should Be Fixed
Inferred Property
The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
Missing Properties
The following required properties are missing: og:image, og:description, fb:app_id
/////
When posting to Facebook the url: http://hallesque.com it using a post image as the site logo.
Any help on getting a site logo and the Facebook error resolved will be greatly appreciated.
Great theme, best around Newspaper 8 is!
Thanks….
I just figured out where the conflict is happening with Gravity Forms and Newspaper… which may also be in the same place for Newsmag!
Using Google Chrome Developer tools, I was able to trace back the error to the td_wp_booster_functions.php file where there’s some code for “css for wp-admin / backend”. It’s just this CSS code that seems to be causing the issue because I tried commenting out the javascript section and it didn’t help.
When I commented out the lines 382-399 and uploaded the file to the server, I was able to use all the tools on the Gravity Form pages which I wasn’t able to before. Of course now that I have done this, the Newspaper settings pages are not styled correctly and are completely non-functional.
Which wp-admin pages does this CSS script need to load besides the Newspaper/Newsmag admin pages = Welcome, Plugins, Install Demos, Support, System Status, and Theme Panel? Is it needed on post type edit screens? Is there a way to modify the code below to make it work on the required pages and not load on other plugin settings?
add_action('admin_enqueue_scripts', 'load_wp_admin_css');
function load_wp_admin_css() {
//load the panel font in wp-admin
$td_protocol = is_ssl() ? 'https' : 'http';
wp_enqueue_style('google-font-ubuntu', $td_protocol . '://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Ubuntu:300,400,500,700,300italic,400italic,500italic,700italic&subset=latin,cyrillic-ext,greek-ext,greek,latin-ext,cyrillic'); //used on content
if (TD_DEPLOY_MODE == 'dev') {
wp_enqueue_style('td-wp-admin-td-panel-2', td_global::$get_template_directory_uri . '/td_less_style.css.php?part=wp-admin.css', false, TD_THEME_VERSION, 'all' );
} else {
wp_enqueue_style('td-wp-admin-td-panel-2', td_global::$get_template_directory_uri . '/includes/wp_booster/wp-admin/css/wp-admin.css', false, TD_THEME_VERSION, 'all' );
}
//load the colorpicker
wp_enqueue_style( 'wp-color-picker' );
// load the media library - necessary for block widgets with image params
wp_enqueue_media();
}
Thanks,
Jerrad
That fixed ‘er right up … I guess too many single malts are responsible for overlooking the demo css sheet – gulp!
Thanks….
Hi,
That is a custom implementation made for the business demo exclusively. It is a css added for the block. You can get that result by installing the business demo, or by replicating it’s css: https://www.screencast.com/t/wOpra7FYpyyv
Thank you!
Hi,
Each demo has it’s own custom styling and design. I believe the Gadgets demo has a social icon hover color set in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/RMJGOHz4SD
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Zh4D0Ja89DOl
Remove that color and the social icons in the top menu and footer sections will be displayed as default. Or set a custom color of your choosing.
The color for the active and hover color can be changed in the theme panel, for all the menu items at once
– https://www.screencast.com/t/BXnOtKMw
A color cannot be set individually. That could be done with custom code however.
This is a tutorial about using the browser inspector to identify the elements on the page and their classes in order to create custom code

How to set block 15 to look like this? screencast
Hi,
I believe you are referring to the flash of the website on loading. That visibility of this flash depends on how well the website is optimized. If it takes a long time to load the effect is more visible.
The styles will load in cascade one after the other, until the last one. If you have custom code used to customize the website, enter it directly in the theme stylesheet. If you want to customize a demo, try doing it directly in the demo stylesheet
– https://www.screencast.com/t/wAoqG1Iy1
That way they will load with the rest of the style, removing or reducing this phenomenon.
Thanks
i’m using gadgets demo.
hi,
Can you please guide me how to change social icons hover color same as in voice demo.
thank you
Hi,
All the demos are located in the theme folder
– https://www.screencast.com/t/CfRzOu6Zt5cZ
When you install a demo the process will automatically import a homepage, posts, categories, theme panel settings, custom styling etc. You could install the demo without content as well, this will only apply the theme panel settings and demo stylesheet containing the design
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
In each demo folder you can see the homepage content for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/khwvgW4dH
You could copy the content of the homepage from a demo, but you will also need to install the theme panel settings and copy the demo stylesheet in the theme stylesheet.
The dummy posts can simply be removed in bulk from the post page
– https://www.screencast.com/t/wuGQXNSlgg
Thanks
Hi,
The pink color comes from the demo you have installed. Each demo has it’s own custom styling. One way of changing the hover color would be to modify it in the demo stylesheet
– https://www.screencast.com/t/upAmVCQlxTZQ
Or use this code to override the current color, with the color you want
– https://www.screencast.com/t/kuzGKQVY
.td-what .td-header-style-6 .black-menu .sf-menu > li > a:hover {
color: yellow;
}
The code must be entered in Theme panel->Custom CSS section.
Thanks
While I’ll have to re-edit the style.css if I changed demo themes, I did finally track down a hack.
I had to add a background color at the end of the class below. I added (background-color: #fef6e9;) to match the old fashion theme. I’d prefer a correct solution, if you have time….
input[type=text],
input[type=url],
input[type=tel],
input[type=email] {
font-size: 12px;
line-height: 21px;
color: #444;
border: 1px solid #e1e1e1;
width: 100%;
max-width: 100%;
height: 34px;
padding: 3px 9px;
/* responsive portrait phone */
}
You wrote that “If you installed a demo, you do not have to make any modification to the pages. Simply install the demo and customize it further or begin adding your own content if you installed it with content.”
But my question is isn’t what you wrote not recommended because the demo pages get removed if I decide to switch demos or uninstall the demo and could cause me a problem in the future?
Would it be better if I simply copied the code from a demo page and moved the code to a new blank page?
If yes then how do I get the code for any of the demos that I like?
When I install your demo it comes with alot of existing posts that have nothing to do with my site. What is the best way to get rid of these posts that come with the template?

how have you designed this
http://tagdiv.com/
Can you please send me demo data for the same
Hi Bogdan,
thank you for your reply. Before we dig deeper in the admin panel and I take more from your time, let me try to explain once again. Hopefully we can solve the issue easier.
Only one of the sidebars breaks the design of only one page – the shop home page (domain.com/магазин/). But actually, I don’t need a sidebar on it at all. I need to disable the sidebar on that page. It shouldn’t load at all, not just hidden.
The name of the sidebar that appears is: td_demo_sidebar_cat-tag-woo
The page in question is: domain.com/магазин
All other sidebars are working correct on the respective pages.
Hope that helps.
Hi,
Maybe this is a misunderstanding. The pages that need to be recreated are pages created with Visual composer. If you had any previous pages like that, these will have to be recreated.
If you installed a demo, you do not have to make any modification to the pages. Simply install the demo and customize it further or begin adding your own content if you installed it with content (logos, categories, menus etc)
Here is a tutorial about block settings that is very useful

Please let us know if you have any further questions or need help at any point.
Thanks
Hi,
There are many ways in which you could improve the design. Using the tagDiv composer you can achieve many layouts, you just need to have some inspiration or create unique designs
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
These are all the blocks that are available with the composer (use selection on the right)
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
These are all the Big grids and Full big grids, each with many styles available
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/full-big-grid-1/
The rows and blocks can have background colors or images, the columns as well
– https://www.screencast.com/t/A9ZriAPyjtWv
Use the theme color settings to add some color to the website
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-colors-introduction/
If there is no setting for what you need, create your own custom code and use in in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Here you can see some showcases of other websites, each with their own
– http://tagdiv.com/newspaper-showcase/
Thanks
This means that the demo templates you offer are not useful if I need to recreate the page using tag div composer.
Do you know what Block and grids and setting you used in you demo called “Health and Fitness” so that I can take a new blank page and create it to look the same.
Hello,
This seems like a very strange issue. The theme does not reset itself. Are you sure you are not changing demos? Installing a new demo with demo content can have this result: https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
A demo is imported with the settings as well as the dummy data so your settings will reset when installing a demo.
Other than that, the theme will not reset itself unless you have errors in the database or malware that is constantly refreshing the database.
I recommend cleaning up your wp install by using the many guides online on how to do it.
Also make sure you meet the minimum requirements for the theme:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thank you!
