The width of the images are 696 px for content with sidebar and 1068 px for a post with no sidebars. You simply need to make sure you upload the full image to your post not the 640 thumb like so:

You can have even bigger pictures if you choose a post template that has a big featured image such as:

If you want to change an ad with your own, you have to edit the demo ads that are place in the theme ad spots: http://screencast.com/t/1zP0kk9KONc9
It;s basic html. You simply need to change the path to make it lead to your iage and then change the link in the code like so:

<div class="td-all-devices"><a href="url where you want the ad to link to"><img src="the complete path of the image you want it to show"/></a></div>

Please notice that what you want to achieve it is not a simple task, sorry! Each demo has an own style design with an own CSS code, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/waaYk9LkgEG If you want to have the similar layout for your website, I suggest you installing the Black Version of the theme (with/without content) and because what you want to achieve to adjust the Default layout to Balck version it is more difficult, require time-consuming, custom work and we cannot provide this type of services at the moment, sorry! Simply, you have to use our Black version.

Please keep in mind that each of our demos has an own design and I suggest you installing the desired one to achieve best results. We use only the tested plugins also on our live demo, Video Seo plugin is not apart of tested plugins.
The featured video is save in database under td_post_video meta key.
The play icon appears automatically when you set video post format. It is specified in the documentation the recommended post styles for a video post, please read it – https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/

If you want to edit the demo content I should warn you now of the implications. if you install a demo with content, when you switch demos, the demo content will be removed. Even if you edit the demo content it will still get removed so if you change your mind about the demo and decide you want to switch demos in the future, your edited posts and pages will get removed so we suggest removing the demo content and create your own without using predefined posts and pages.
There is no way of replacing the images in the media library in bulk…sorry. You will have to manually remove them and add other images to the content. Our theme does not provide any image replacing options.

I think you made a mistake purchase. You bough ‘newsmag’ not ‘newspaper’. That’s our other theme that has these demos: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/ Please check your theme and make sure it;s newspaper as from the screenshot you showed me, that is the newsmag theme.
If you want to switch to newspaper then please request a refund on envato here: https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new and we will provide a refund so you can buy the newspaper theme instead of ‘newsmag’.

Before you use a wordpress theme you will have to understand the basics of wordpress. You will already need to know how to add content to your site using wordpress so you might want to search for a few WP tutorials before using themes. Our theme does not change any default functionality of wordpress on how to add content to a website. A demo adds content to your site: posts, categories and pages. We do not recommend editing the demo content as if you decide to switch demos in the future, the demo content will be removed even if you edited it. We suggest installing a demo without content like this guide suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
And then add your own content to the site.

I do not exactly understand what you want to achieve. The code works fine and all the white spaces will be colored in black if you are using that code. So, if need more changes in this regard, please notice that all of these involves custom work and we cannot provide something like that at the moment. Also, if you will check our demos list you will have noticed that we have Black version, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/3VgWc1mSvi -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_black/
Please notice that this layout is not a simple task if you want to make if from scratch using the default layout of the theme and these involves custom modifications which are not covered by our support, sorry!

First of all, please notice that the official language in this forum is English and in the future, I would kindly ask you to use this language for a better understanding.
So, regarding on your issue, please try to make a new fresh install from scratch with the latest version of the theme (Newspaper 7.3). Also, please notice that your installation should have to be made only via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard and then, you will have to try to install one of our demo sites, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
