Hi,
I’ve just installed the Newsmag theme using the the Default demo. The first thing I noticed that all the pictures are missing (https://www.dropbox.com/s/dfxb768ncdoouur/Pictures-not-showing-2.png?dl=0). The first thing I tried to do was to upload my own logo & favicon, but again, they are not showing.(https://www.dropbox.com/s/qt8dp8jy3w43sqt/Untitled-5.png?dl=0)
Is this something to do with WordPress or with the theme? What should I do?

Hi,
Please try to update the Visual Composer plugin I see that you use an old version. The latest version of the plugin provide with the theme files is 4.6.2 please check this guide to update – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Then check your site again on Safari and see if you still have this issue(check this like I said above without any plugins active, just VC) also clear cache.
I have checked your site on Safari and you have this issue with the menu item, but I could not find exactly the cause, I suspect that it is a plugin as this is not happening on our demo – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ If you still have this issue please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-access so we can take a look, also paste a link to this topic so we can know who you are and what your issue is.

Hi,
The best way to achieve this is to make a page megamenu. You can create 4 custom menus from Appearance > Menus and each menu to contain 9 items. Then create a page using pagebuilder and use WP Custom Menu elements in a row (split the row in 4 columns) and select your menus – http://screencast.com/t/J3xiXmC0JM Then add your page to the main menu and paste the page ID to make it megamenu, it should look something like Trave page from Newsmag demo(except of the image) – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/

It may be temporary problem with download server being overloaded. Try again later. And yes, you can edit the demos once installed.
Generally you will want to make sure you do *NOT* included all content from demo as this will mess with your existing content. You’re basically just wanted to get the “layout style” and not all the dummy content unless you have a blank website.
my slider in home page is not changing when i update post in any category..i am seeing only ur demo content in slider home page..i want my new posts must come in home page top sliders..pls solve it

We use a plugin for user avatar also on our demo – WP User Avatar, just install it and the avatar option will appear in Users -> Your Profile so you can upload an image â http://screencast.com/t/XhuxLvam

Please test this without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer active, clear cache and see if you still have this issue as I have checked this and did not found any issue with this on my side or demo. Let me know how it goes!

The host that you should choose depends the area where you are and/or which is your target(customers). For example for our demo we use GoDaddy.

I notice with the demo images you can install that they are a wide variety of shapes and sizes.
Within Big Grid 1, the main article thumbnail and the 4 others have different height:width ratios.
I notice that Block 2 and 16 are also different from the above.
Are there image dimensions you can suggest that should work properly?
I have images with text centred in them that can’t really be used because they only centre properly in one of the three different situations above.

Exactly thats what i am looking for.
In the demo site, based on the picture size its either fit in the container for larger images or display as is size if its a smaller.
But in my case in the below link : http://ireadopedia.com/blog/fallout-4/
All the images that are uploaded are larger one’s. So i expect them to fit in the container.
When i do an inspect element, below are the snapshot that i see.

The images used in the tagdiv gallery are not stretched or cropped like the featured images on modules. There is used the full image, it is just resized(but not enlarged) to fit into container. Hi,
Please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and and see if you still have this issue. Also disable all js/css minifications. I have checked this using the latest theme version and did not found any issue on these browsers. Also you can check our demo and see if there is a problem too.
