I’ve just installed the Default Demo. There’s lots of html text on the home page. How can I get rid of it?
It’s found just above each section.
Examples are:

hi there i purchased newpaper theme and i want my site layout same as the demo of newspaper so any tutorial for that or some instrucions coz the youtube tutorial dosent help and the predefined styles wont give me the same look as the demo of http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ <——- i want the same looks and feel as the demo have so any tweaks for that someone??? sry for my bad english please do the needfull _/\_

Tech demo is installaded, then I modified it with my custom settings. I removed the default logo and I re-add my own logo after (This one http://www.48horasbadajoz.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/logo-2015-header.png ).
In footer section is ok. This is the same logo than the logo in header section, but it can’t be displayed.

Do you have Tech demo installed? Please check in Theme Panel > Header section what logo image do you have – http://screencast.com/t/z51pFqlJfYW Also please note that if you have tech demo installed and you will remove it, you will have to re-add you logo image.
As you can see in footer section is displayed your logo – http://screencast.com/t/BMx70SUpBH so please also check header.

You can uninstall the demo and all articles,images, settings.. added will be removed and your settings will be on default, you will have to set menus(your menu will not be deleted, just you need to select them again), logo..
Also you can install a demo stack without the content – http://screencast.com/t/qa3Eyba3ch79 so it will be imported only fonts, colors used in that style.

This page is imported from the demo that’s why have this permalink. You can delete it and create your blog page and set it from Settings > Reading – http://screencast.com/t/od1hULyLK or you can try to edit the page permalink and see if it works – http://screencast.com/t/DUGoZDXJcp

If you’re referring at this blog: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag_classic_blog/ you can try to use module 1 that will display entire post content but you can add from wordpres in every post the read more button where you want to stop displaying the content in homepage, like here: http://screencast.com/t/fdekkT2jVj

I’m sorry that you had those issues in version 6 of the theme. Newspaper 6 should be regarded as a new theme, it was practically rewritten so all customizations(files, css) from version 4 will not work and you will have to make these modifications again. We made a script that if you run it after update it will import from database olde settings, the shortcodes.. like you can see in the documentation – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ Unfortunately you will have to re-add your widgets in the sidebars as some of them may not be imported or don’t exist anymore, also they will become inactive.
I’m not sure what was the issue with Big Slider, as you can see on our demo Big Grid Slider(like on Newspaper4) is still available – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-slide/ also we added more Big Grid blocks(these are not sliders).

Do you have any custom css for newsticker next/prev buttons? As I have checked this an did not found any issues with it, you also can see on our demo. If you don’t have any customizations please disable all your plugins, leave just Visual Composer active, clear cache and see if you still have this issue. Also remove any js/css minification.

Unfortunately we removed this option so in version 6 of the theme the post views can be enabled/disabled only for post template, it is not available for modules/blocks like in version 4, sorry! Only comments count can be displayed on blocks/modules liek you can see also on our demo – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/

Unfortunately Cafe stack doesn’t exist anymore in version 6 of the theme, you can check on our demo predefined styles – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ You can set your site to look like Cafe style only manually(colors, fonts), sorry!

I am beginner and now try to start build up my web on Newsmag theme basic. My idea is to install one of demo and step by step edit it, categories, pages and so on. Unfortunately after demo installation page looks very incorrect with some kind of short codes on front like [vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″] and others.

I’m completely new to websites/WP. I’ve been partnered up with someone that constructed my sites for me, but we are no longer working together. Because of this, I’d rather pay someone to setup my site for me (I’d locate another site design as an example as a demo) rather than learn from the ground up.
I understand how to add posts and pages, just need assistance building the design.
I can go to odesk or elance, but I thought I’d try here first from the people who already know the ins and outs of this theme.

The theme doesn’t have an option to display full width images in post content, just featured image like in the above example.

I am trying to copy one of your blocks. It’s contained in your newspaper demo (the page you get after clicking your logo). So far I have figured out you are using Big Grid 5 and Style 5. Is there anything else I should add to Row Settings? There seems to be a very nice black background on your three images.

Hi,
I noticed that you use an old version of Newspaper 3.3 so you may have issues like that. I suggest to update to the latest version 6.2.1 and also the plugins that come with the theme files as we cannot help you with that old version of theme and also the theme plugins. For example if the facebook change the api we also will do the necessarily modifications for Social Counter in the new plugin version so it will work fine. I have also checked your facebook ID and it displays fine your fans – http://screencast.com/t/lu524NAE6Q
Please note that if you want to update to the version 6 this must be regarded as a major update, practically a new theme with many features as you can see in our demo – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ but unfortunately all your custom modifications(files or css) will not work anymore and you will need to re-add them.
