The footer can be set from theme panel, you can set a page as footer, you can chose a standard footer or a cloud footer -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
To display ads on amp version we recommend to use the mobile theme plugin with one of these options -> https://i.imgur.com/pWsbjoW.png also the ads set for mobile theme template will be display in amp version too.
If you are referring to this sidebar -> https://i.imgur.com/Mf5bgnI.png you can enable and disable it from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/w84ZuDK.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/more-articles-box/

Hi skizlin,

This depending on the demo you are using , if is a pro demo it can be edited entirely with tagDiv Composer because are made with cloud template.
If is a simple demo, then only the pages can be edited using tagdiv Composer and the header footer, category templates can be edited using the settings from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/OPiMA8Q.png also on those demos the menus can be set from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/9QTvfGo.png or from appearance > menu -> https://i.imgur.com/5KiLV3m.png (on pro demos need to be set using tagDiv Composer https://i.imgur.com/hxMKlgu.png -> https://i.imgur.com/3pzmVyw.png).

Hi palani99,

What you are using a smart list then it will be apply a different style on it, to make sure that the h1, h2 .. will be the size you like, you can set the size in theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/mTBuBWq.png for example for me h2 and h3 are looking like this -> https://i.imgur.com/oconpHL.png is look like this be default.

Also what numbers do you want still want to remove from your website, please provide me a link and some screenshots, in this way I will be able to provide a solution.

As for the footer, the theme has some pre-made footer templates with blocks that can not be edited, you can add only extra widgets in footer section, if you want to have control over the elements from footer, please use a footer like footer style 2, 3, 6 and add the blocks widgets you want to display. -> https://i.imgur.com/OvP5F6S.png -> https://i.imgur.com/JCvz78U.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-footer-templates-2/

Thank you for your understanding!

I have one ‘Popular categories’-block on the right of my Category template and one ‘Popular categories’ in my Footer template.

Hi, there’s no Tagdiv Composer in “Footer – Magazine PRO” template while other templates have. I want to change a background image of footer but cannot.

Hi,

Normal if you are using only standard demos, then the footer that you have set on homepage should be the same for the entire website, only using cloud templates you can set different footers per pages/templates.
What you can do is to make a test and let only theme plugins enable (tagDiv Plugins), comment the css and make sure that you clear the browser cache after that check again.

Hi,

If you are using the same footer templates, then I think that is just a cache problem, please make sure that you create all the cache you have more times after that check the results on more browsers.

If there is still a problem, please provide me a link where I can inspect it.

Let me know the results!

Hello !

By going into cloud library you will be able to simply select footer templates here: https://www.screencast.com/t/vFdl2izOe All the footer templates will be displayed.

Hi Everyone,

Anyone has an idea on the below – I assume it’s something really trivial but can’t figure out:

I’m working mainly with templates and pre-set content available on the theme given lack of expertise with WP.
When searcing for ‘footer’ in the cloud library, I have zero results. Therefore I’m only able to use the preset from the basic theme I choose. For header, I’m able to search for and change the themes preset header template to anything else.

Thanks,
Blaise

Sorry to bring this question back from the dead =)

I’m trying to create a post template that I can use in some posts, not all.. The basic outline is simple, it’d match my site as per all other things (header/footer etc) but the images or video I add to the middle of a post or throughout the post are wider.

I know you can achieve this in WordPress by itself using Gutenberg, but if I was doing that I wouldn’t be using your theme of course. =)

Inside your own blog..

https://tagdiv.com/customize-articles-with-single-post-templates/

This I believe is using the Newspaper theme.

Seems to be stretched to 1400px

inner column is 700px but the media seems to be 1200 or something, breaking outside of the column

This post shows video or animation + images being wider than the column in the middle with text.

Ultimately I’d rather have the option to have the media images extend either outside like iny our blog post or even better, to the browser end as seen in the example below but I have been unable to do that with your theme.

Not your theme but it outlines perfectly what I wish you had a template of in the cloud

https://renchlist.com/honda-cb750-cafe-racer-fastec-racing-custom/

This is an example (see how images when you scroll down are the width of the browser.. if you’re viewing on a phone this won’t make sense. I have seen this before and love it as an option, you’ll see how the images break the columns.

This theme is an older theme (15zine by cubellthemes) which is why I’m even more confused, ha, if old themes can do this, newer bigger themes I would think could as well, at very least from a template in the cloud you guys have for us.

I have been pondering switching to a different theme but I have faith in Tagdiv so I must be doing it wrong.

thanks guys

Hi,

Instead of disabling them, you could simply not use them in those pages. The page can be designed how you want it, top to bottom, header to footer, so simply do not use any ads in it.

If you want specific posts to not display ads, these can also be designed header to footer.

You can use cloud templates https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/All for the header, footer, and posts. So for example create/import a cloud header and footer template, and set them for the page https://prnt.sc/ue8sxg
For posts, create/import a cloud post template, use the same header and footer templates in it, and set that for the posts you want.

So you can have header, footer, post etc templates in which you set ads, and ones in which you do not.

If you do not want to use cloud templates, maybe there are other ways of excluding the ads from specific pages and posts, but not by theme settings. Ads entered in the theme panel will always be loaded where they are supposed to load.

Thank you!

Hi,

A link to the website would have been helpful, so I can see what demo you have installed and what type of header/footer templates you are using.

Changing the logo can be done either in he theme panel, if you use the default templates https://prnt.sc/udlthz
Or in the composer if you use cloud templates https://prnt.sc/udlu2p

Let me know.

Thank you!

Hi,

The cloud footer template can be edited from a page where it is displayed. So for example if the footer template you have set is displayed in the homepage, please edit the homepage with the composer, scroll down and customize the footer template https://prnt.sc/udl1jw

If a page uses cloud header and footer templates, these can be edited from the page itself, by editing it with the composer.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Thank you!

Hi!
I am new to this template and wondering if you could help me.

I have used a separate template for footer. I have edited it and saved.
After a while I wanted to edit logo, but there is no option to do this in Cloud Templates menu.

For other templated I have ‘edit template’ option, for footer there is only ‘edit’ and when I click on it, I have option only to edit HTML, which is not understandable to me :).

Hi,

That is possible, it is not mandatory to use cloud footer templates. If a cloud footer is set in the theme panel, please remove it https://prnt.sc/ud0pew -> https://prnt.sc/ud0pnr
Then you can choose from the default footer templates.

Thank you!

Hi,

So that is the code that actually displays the ads? What kind of ads are you using exactly that have to be entered in the theme files directly in order to be displayed?

The theme provides ad spots and ad boxes for displaying ads https://prnt.sc/uctomi https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-ad-spots/ No need to enter them in the theme files and loose them after a theme update.

So depending on the header and footer template you use, ads can be displayed in them, without having to enter the actual ad code in the header and footer theme files.

If you use predefined header/footer templates enter the ads in the theme panel ads panel. If you use cloud templates, enter the ad codes in ad boxes, inside the templates
https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/

Let me know if you need help. I tried to view the website, it seems to be offline at the moment from what I can see https://prnt.sc/uctrdr

Thank you!

Hi TagDiv Team,

Being french, I have a french blog with newspaper theme and I’m thinking about doing another blog in english to get international. (I’m a photographer)
I don’t think I will use WMPL plugins since it makes website heavier, slower too, and I’m going to translate only a part of the original blog. Do you think it’s a good choice ?

And the big question is, is it possible to download my templates, header, footer from the french blog , to upload them to the other blog ? If yes how ? ( I did not see anything to do it within the admin). May be by FTP ?

Thanks a lot !

David

Hi,

A link to the website would have been very helpful.

Maybe the Instagram section is not coming from the theme panel footer setting. Are you using a cloud footer template?

Please edit for example the homepage with the composer, scroll down and see if you can remove the Instagram section from the footer.

Cloud footer templates have to be edited in the composer, only from there you can add/remove/customize footer elements from the template.

Let me know.

Thank you!

Hi,

If you are referring to the predefined footer templates https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/ meaning these ones https://prnt.sc/ua8o97 they will appear in the theme panel only if the standard pack plugin is active https://prnt.sc/ua8pfw

If you want to use them, please check if the standard pack plugin is activated.

Thank you!

Hi there!

Since the new update, the theme settings continue resetting to default, breaking my site.
In other words, I use Cloud Library Templates on header, footer, post default, 404, search, etc, but all of these settings continue to reset themselves – I’m having to redo the configuration about 10 times a day!
https://www.screencast.com/t/t8Zit4qq7IQP

I tried everything:
– Reinstall the theme via ftp
– Reinstall the plugins via ftp
– I deleted and deactivated several plugins that were not tested by the theme
– I don’t have any cache plugins enabled (CloudFlare only)
– In CloudFlare I disabled minification and everything

Things you should know:
– I have the latest wordpress version
– I have the latest newspaper theme version
– I’m using multisite and the error occurs in only one of them (the others seem to be fine)
– The system status are fine (https://www.screencast.com/t/qn5qN3VdRCKR)
– I host my website on wp engine, but the cache is disabled so we can find out what’s going on

Plugins installed:
– Ajax Search Pro – Activated
– Akismet Anti-Spam – Activated
– AMP – Activated
– Contact Form 7 – Activated
– Imagify – Activated
– Jetpack por WordPress.com – Activated
– Post SMTP – Activated
– Redirection – Activated
– Stackable – Blocos Gutenberg – Deactivated
– Structured Content – Activated
– tagDiv Cloud Library – Activated
– tagDiv Composer – Activated
– tagDiv Mobile Theme – Activated
– tagDiv Newsletter – Activated
– tagDiv Social Counter – Activated
– tagDiv Standard Pack – Deactivated
– WP User Avatar – Activated
– Yoast SEO – Activated

And just to reinforce, all the sites in the multisite installation are working perfectly, they all use the same plugins, but only one seems to continue to reset the configuration to the default (or -no template-).

Could you please help me with this issue?

Thanks!

Hello,

Footer part on page doesn’t seem. When we check theme panel, there are not footer setting details like that information, footer templates (style 1, 2..)..etc. Could this be due to the last update? Now, should we create a new footer? I will be grateful if you could help me..

Thank you!

Hi

The posts are being added as a duplicate unstyled content at the bottom of the page (before the footer) of custom templates. I have redesigned the same template a few times now but it keeps happening. Would really like assistance in figuring out why this is happening.
