Notice that our theme has only a few header styles as you can see in our list from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-header-styles/ and regarding on logo, you can check more information here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-logo-favicon/ Also, notice that Newsmag does not have any custom header template which allows you to create it as you want, sorry! Maybe, in the future update, will improve it by adding this possibility, using a custom header template. If you want to edit the Header template, you should check the theme’s core files from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/y7q4e6XvO3

Cloud templates don't inherit global settings - reply

Hi,

Those settings will be apply only on default theme templates, if you are using templates from cloud you need to check the elements from that temple, because those came with individual settings, you need to edit the temple and delete the tags, author box, comments ( or other elements that you do not want to have ).

If you are referring to header style for the moment those are not include in TagDiv Cloud Library.

I’ve followed your instructions and the image is placed in the background of the page. I’m wanting the image to be placed in the category header box only. The screenshot below shows what my page looks like and i’ve included an arrow to where i actually want the image to sit.

I am replying to my old question because I have a new question about logo header images
and I can’t find a way in my account to submit a New Question.

Question January 12, 2019 —

I’m using the Newsmag 4.7 Fashion Magazine Demo install but want to revamp it into more of a Commentary & articles site. I kept “Fashion” because I like the styling.

I want to use a HEADER LOGO up to 1024 px (or greater) in Width
& I have a version up to 2500 px wide by 500 px height.

I want a Retina Image HEADER Style (the LOGO is already IN the Header image) that is responsive, full width when the browser reports it & then responsive scaling of the header down to Mobile setting.

Besides changing CSS files, what is the most direct way to alter necessary files so that NewsMag offers another Header Style with my preferences?

Using Header Style 8, despite the media library settings for this Header Image, my header image, though loaded with correct W & H pixels, only loads to the default max LOGO image in Newsmag which I guess is 572px.

What is being loaded from the Media Library is correct — width=”1199″ height=”245″ —

BUT the Newsmag page surrounds the same image with this instead–

Hi – I have created a homepage – http://jazzreview.co.uk – using Flex Block 3 which looks great on desktop and mobile but on tablet landscape the columns lengths change and on tablet portrait column lengths and header menu break. How do I solve this? Happy to have tablet portrait go to mobile format and menu (how do I set for that?) but tablet landscape would like columns to retain equal lengths. Thanks

I am still having the same issue with the background gradient of the Main Menu.
I have been trying to override the CSS and was able to get it to work for the sticky menu only. I want them to have the same custom background gradient for both.
I am not sure if this is a browser cache issue?

I try to use stock cloud template “Single post template” for my blog. But it renders exact as it is shown in the gallery.
I turned off: tags, author box, comments, date of post in my settings page. And everything works fine. But when I use the cloud template all this data is shown.

By the way: are there any cloud templates for header (mail) menu in the gallery?

Hello,

I would like to use Fast News Demo as a start point of my website.
However, after I imported the demo, not everything take appearence of the demo.

Biggest issue is that global width of the content stay at default value and don’t go to 1400px as the header do.
Where can I modify this ?

And why fonts, titles, etc are not applied correctly ?

Codul a fost mereu in header http://prntscr.com/m5ucid am si spus pana acum anunturile apare-au am facut update si nu mai apar, am crezut ca am facut update gresit ca un fisier nu sa incarcat corect sau ceva de genul am facut update din nou si la fel. deci pana acum nu am avut probleme deloc cu tema repet de la ultimul update am problemele acestea. generez o parola si un user sa verificati DVS ???

I’m probably missing something obvious, but how can I use templates like headers or footers in my layout? When I select page templates I see the “Create template” button, in the other cases I see a “Create page” button. I create the page but I don’t know how to use it.

Can't Remove Ads - topic

I put ads up in several of the theme’s ad boxes today, and accidentally also added Adsense code to the header box. I don’t want an ad up there, so I removed it. After saving all settings, ads are appearing at the top of the screen, under the banner. I removed ads from all of the boxes, even the ones I wanted them in, and saved again. Still, even with all boxes empty, all ads were still appearing after saving. I’m not using a cache plugin. The closest I have is Fast Velocity Minify. I disabled it, just in case, and still the ads loaded. I even used the buttons under the empty ad boxes to disable on desktop, tablet, phone, etc. Still, the ad shows.

What can I do to remove that ad at the top of my website? I’m pretty sure it’s against Adsense rules to have an ad appearing above the fold on mobile, as this one does.

Hi,

The Yoast plugin should work properly with the theme, it is the recommend SEO plugin to use. What exactly is not working?

Hi,

The menu and the logo are in separate containers, so that would not be possible/easy to do with CSS. Maybe with the header builder that is currently in development that will be possible, can’t say for sure until it is finished and we will begin testing it. Sorry for any inconvenience.
