Hi – The ‘Load More’ buttons are now a link to my homepage appended with a # so it just returns to the top of the page rather than loading more stories.
Lazy load has also stopped working, so I’ve had to turn that off. Images just weren’t loading at all.

I really love Newspaper Theme. But I noticed the featured images of our posts on the mobile homepage appears to be quite blur. May I know whether is it possible to resolve this issue? Any recommended Featured Image size so that it doesn’t appear so blur on the homepage? Thank you!

If you want to hide the post name in desktop as well, you simply remove the @media (max-width:767px) { part and then the code will affect all of the screen sizes.

Hi guys – got an issue with trying to use the Image Box element in the TD Composer. We are trying to add a new Image Box element onto a brand new row on our homepage, however once we add the image box element there is no options to actually add or edit anything on the element. For some reason I’m not having any luck changing the font colors for the title of excerpt using the sample above on BLOCK13 being used on my homepage…

On the homepage there are no settings that would allow changing the color of the category tags, by category.
It could only be done with custom code, by module or block in which they appear. Or maybe change them all at once if that would be an option.

Hello, on my homepage I use block 3 to show the latest posts. It would need to add some space to the title, or to narrow the letter. I tried modifying the fonts of Module 1 on the theme panel but does not change. Please, could help me?

I’ve been looking everywhere to figure out where I can replace the background image on my homepage. (I’m using the new “Showcase” Demo). It’s the images of a bunch of floating computer backgrounds of different style websites. The text over it says, “Themes for smart people.” I’ve been able to change that in TagDiv but I’m not smart enough for the image I guess…Thank you for your help!

2) This worked! Would you mind telling me the perfect size in width/height px for the background image in this? Also, after using the shortcode, I get some grey shadow covering background image all the way from top menu down to the bottom of the Big Grid (and the width of the shadow is as the width of Big Grid) – your Travel Demo doesn’t have that shadow. How do I remove it? Can’t seem to figure it out.

4) I’m confused. Isn’t this a massive bug? How do I allow my website visitors to view articles on my homepage without showing them duplicates? If a person comes to the site, and wants to see what articles the site has, they scroll down to see older articles, and obviously if duplicates start showing up, it’s going to look very unprofessional. How do I avoid that? [Just FYI, I switched to standard view/block size and just off-set 3 posts from the big grid to avoid duplicates, seems to work but obviously not ideal. If you have any other ideas where I can use other block sizes and not have duplicates, that’d be great.]
5) Rocket Loader is disabled, and was never enabled for this site. So that is not the reason. Any other thoughts?

I fixed this by using the Newspaper-child theme where I created an attchment.php file and then put in code to redirect to homepage.
Why you dont use the Facebook Plugin, that works great.. We use it also on our homepage

I see you are using the mobile theme plugin, this will present a different homepage then on desktop when active. The mobile theme plugin has a predefined template for the homepage, posts, category pages etc. More about it here

This is meant to simplify and improve performance on mobile. Note that the plugin is optional. If you want the same content from desktop to show on mobile, simply deactivate it. The main theme is fully responsive and will adapt for all devices.

@mvl I could give you a code that would not allow all block 20 to be clicked if that is what you want (however I don’t see a block 20 on the homepage – there is a block 13).
This code will have to target that block only so it will not affect all blocks of the same type.
If you could provide some more details about what exactly you want to do and where, I will try to give you a solution. This way there won’t be any misunderstanding.

Hello, i’m trying to build and set a custom page as my home page
used the tutorial, but can’t complete the procedure cause in my “reading” panel simply there is not the “front page displays” form to set.

If your old site is on wordpress you can just install the newspaper theme and import the demo you like without content. Once its done you need to regenerate your thumbnails and filter the proper categories on homepage. It should be easy but a little time consuming.
Your home page has no ‘name’ — it’s the “index” which loads for your main front page of site; so has no actual name. The name shown under ‘pages’ when editing your static home page can be anything (I usually do ‘homepager’ or whatever). There is no home page URL slug — your home page should always simply load as “yoursite.ooo” (.com or whatever).
Theme does not control that in any way.
You might want to review the user guides for WordPress and the subject of permalinks at wordpress.org in the ‘codex.’

Hi, can I ask something on top of this? I managed to remove the read more button from block 20, but I would also like to prevend people from clicking on block 20 to open it. It’s my homepage post, which I don’t want to let people click on it.
