Since the update we have been getting the images cutting off on the main site.
I have included an image. Is there a setting to change this.

Hi,
The demos come with included content(posts, categories etc.) When you install the demo you have the option to choose whether to include content or not.
1. If you want to add your own content in the Big grid, open the Homepage – http://screencast.com/t/jOSdF7jNr in Visual Composer – http://screencast.com/t/3YdN9Vhx then in the Big grid settings(they appear when you hover it, click edit block) – http://screencast.com/t/khkVIhgP8auN in the Filter tab you can choose the content by filtering categories, post types, sort order etc – http://screencast.com/t/IaqmtgxFo2P
All of this is explained in this tutorial – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
2. You can set a custom title for each block in it’s settings(open the same page in Visual Composer) – http://screencast.com/t/KJbu0NXK
Thanks
Hey kfx!
I finally came into a solution for this issue by my self, regarding the logo resolution problem. Catalin simply did not provide the expected quality support (not a great theme support experience for me so far), so I’ll post it here step by step in case you can use it:
1. First of all, produce (via Illustrator or Photoshop) a high quality resolution PNG image of your logo. Try not to exceed a width of 1400px. Make sure it looks really sharp. Consider leaving a transparent background if needed.
2. Optimize it by uploading/downloading it to/from Optimzilla. This is to ensure your image achieves the minimum file size possible, while keeping its quality.
3. Upload it to your WordPress Media Library.
4. Change your logo image in the Theme Panel settings Theme Panel> Header> Logo & Favicon (be sure to load the proper image in both “Logo Upload” and “Retina Logo Upload” fields).
5. Go to Pages> Home, and open the Visual Editor for your homepage. Once in the Visual Editor, add this code into the Custom CSS option at the top right portion of the editor:
.td-logo {
display: inline-block;
width: 55%;
}
See http://www.screencast.com/t/zBtkB7Acv, if needed. You can always adjust the width property to your desired size.
6. Click “Save Changes”, and finally “Update” your page. When done, you should see a really sharp logo image in your header, like the one displayed in my site.
Hope it works!
Cheers,
Fidel

After searching the theme panel i was unable to find out how to adjust the site width. Please let me know how to do that. I am using fashion demo, 3 columns.
There is another problem i have noticed. Font weight varies from browser to browser. How to fix this ?
I am using block 3 design in my homepage where the post title is below the image. I need the design to be title first and the image beneath the title. I have noticed that there is another design with title above the image on block 6 but excerpts are also there beneath the image. I do not need that.
Also let me know how to decrease the font weight of title text in homepage.
Please help me.
Best regards,
Krafting Networks
I posted an article, and checked my homepage, at first everything was fine, then all of a sudden the featured image disappeared. No idea why this happened, it looks fine on mobile, and the image is there when I click on the article.
My homepage is at thephotoconnection.net and the article is titled “How to get rid of Purple Fringing in Lightroom”
Hi. I figured out the problem, but I cannot figure out the solution.
The problem is NOT what I stated in my previous emails. I stated that the sub-footer was skewed too far to the right. However, I realized later that the problem is with the social icons in the footer (not sub-footer). These social icons are skewed to the LEFT compared to all the other elements on my homepage screen. So I looked for some margin or padding issues in the CSS.
In the following CSS, when I changed ‘margin-right’ to 0, the social icons became closer together, but they also became perfectly centered. So the problem is that 30px is being put to the right of the right-most social icon (for me, the YouTube icon):
.td-footer-template-13 .footer-social-wrap .td-social-icon-wrap {
margin-right: 30px;
text-transform: uppercase;
font-family: ‘Open Sans’, arial, sans-serif;
/* responsive portrait tablet */
/* responsive portrait phone */
}
I am not familiar enough with the CSS and which classes govern which elements. I like having the 30px in between the elements, but obviously there should be ‘margin-right: 0’ for the final (right-most) social icon.
So would you please tell me how to fix this? Many thanks!!
Nick
Hi,
Please update the Social Counter to the latest version provided with the theme. You can find it in the /plugins folder from theme package that you download from themeforest – http://screencast.com/t/6e7bdiRf The procedure is the same like for Visual Composer – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
I’m not sure where you use the Slider, on your homepage I cannot see on, so maybe you have removed it.
You can use this custom css to reduce the top padding – http://screencast.com/t/ZOBfhdBfb
.home .td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 15px;
}
Thanks!
Hello deambris,
If you want to add an Ad to your homepage, you should use the Ad Box element from Visual composer and from there you can choose the ad code, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/SYcZxO0F If you are using and Adsense code, please notice that this type of size is not supported by theme and it could not work, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
The default Newsmag sidebar for my posts appears to be a smart sidebar. I want to disable that so I can place Google ads in the sidebar for my posts published in various categories. Currently, eg. on this page: http://www.myjcr.com/articles/lifestyle/5-ways-to-save-money-when-you-re-broke/, there’s a default smart sidebar. I want it to behave like the one on the homepage.
Hello,
I realy love the social counter! However, I would like to change the spacing between the headline and the actual counting box. This would mean that I could save some space at my homepage: http://newsletter-ibmsvenlo.com
Thank you very much for your help!
Richard
Hi,
I would like to put an adsense google banner of 780×90 within home page, but it looks always as a 300×250. How can that happen?
Thank you and best regards!

Hi,
1. A. Open your homepage in the Edit Page section like this – http://prntscr.com/djak7x
B. Scroll down to the Visual Composer editor and select the row containing the Big grid block http://prntscr.com/dk2msh
C. In Row Settings -> General -> Row Stretch, select Stretch row. Then, just bellow check the Full height row box – http://prntscr.com/djan7m
D. Go to Design Options, next to the General tab and choose the color you want for your background – http://prntscr.com/djao7x
The result is like this http://prntscr.com/dk2nfm
2. Newspaper theme has a fixed width of 1068 pixels(content), that was the way it was designed.
3. When you set a background color or image, the theme automaticaly becomes boxed https://forum.tagdiv.com/background-introduction/. The only way is to remove your background and
choose a Full Header style – http://prntscr.com/dk317u
4. Add this code(edit the padding and font size as you like) in the Theme panel->Custom Css
.td-load-more-wrap a {
padding: 20px;
font-size: 20px;
}
Thanks
Hi,
I suggested to check the functionality of the demo slider on a test page and see if the issue persist also there, not to use it on your live homepage.
The problem could be related to your custom slider settings/layout.
Please check it and let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi,
You can set your own hompage like @Edward(Thanks for your help) suggested above. Also it is specified in our tutorial – https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
Regarding the top background image, it is added to the empty row – http://screencast.com/t/lB9JnxbK So just edit the page and check the row settings.
Thanks!
Hi,
The slider you have on homepage is not a tagdiv element and I’m not aware of it’s settings. If you want you can use iOS Slider – http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ios-slider/ and please check the block settings tutorial to configure it – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
Thanks!
i added that to the homepage widget, kindly visit the link and let me know if there is anything i need to change in the settings cos i followed the instruction followed in the documentation…

Hi,
You can add a Big Grid on your homepage if you create a static page please check the tutorial – https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
Thanks!
Hi Catalin,
Installing via FTP appears to be working so far. The grid is now formatted on my home page. I’m going to continue to edit the site over the weekend.
I am still have some issues with images. Not all but some.
–> I’ve noticed that they don’t seem to fit within the Newspaper7 thumbnails. For instance, if you look at the grid on my homepage, for the article about “essie nail…” you can only see the top of nail polish. In my old them, the entire image was in the thumbnail.
–> Also in the grid, there is a column of gray space for the lipstick image. Is there anything can be done to get the image to fit entirely in the square?
Finally, when extracting from the Zip files, I came across the following. I hit skip but is this a problem?
Error 0x80010135: Path too long
1. td_thumbs_on_modules_and_block.php
2. td_get_category_section_by_id.php
3. td_get_cpt_settings_by_post_type.php
4. td_get_tax_settings_by_tax_name.php
5. td_get_font_section_by_section_id.php
6. td_translations.php
Thank you so much!
You only answered the second issue. How come you didn’t respond about the first one? Anyway I will re post what the first issue I had a problem with below.
For Block 16 issue with no comment or date under thumbnail post [I’m not referring to a sidebar post]?
I re installed the theme via cPanel. I checked everything outlined in the screencast and everything is on so it should have been working. I even tested it by turning the author, date and comments off for blocks. It worked as all the Blocks on my homepage no longer had an author, date or comments. I turned it back on and the rest of the blocks author, date and comments display again except Block 16. I did everything you said still doesn’t make it work.
I made up a new Homepage, called it home, and moved it to the top of the menu and took off the menu the old Homepage. But when i go to the site, the old Homepage is still showing up. Is there somewhere Setting to tell the System which page should be shown as Homepage?
On your travel theme you have street Background at the top. Where can i Change this?
Hello.
I would like to add a grid on the homepage (post list), I know how to do it in category page (CATEGORIES > CATEGORY TOP POSTS STYLE) but this feature is not avaliable at TEMPLATE SETTINGS > Blog and Post template
Best Regards
Hi,
I’m trying to set up a homepage revolution slider (with the latest blogposts). It works great except for one thing: There is no hyperlink to the posts. I can only scroll the slider and not click it. Below I’ve added a screenshot of my settings.
Any idea how to fix this?

Hello motoneky,
You should check your theme panel-> Block Settings section, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/l5eEXkAO2 to see if the thumbs are activated for your blocks/modules used by you. Also, I have inspected your website and all the images from your homepage seems to work as properly without any problem.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
If you have installed the Magazine demo with content, you should have it on the predefined demo homepage. It is practically a Tabs element with custom design and Big Grid 5 added to each tab – http://screencast.com/t/HLVzqiWY
Thanks!
