I downloaded the default theme content.

I found the Trending Now bar in the CMS, don’t know how to change what it reads?

On the homepage – again with the default content – first section of content is “don’t miss” second is “lifestyle” How do I change the way that those posts display on the homepage?

I have disabled all theme generated images from theme panel as I do not want them to fill my server disk. I use “block 7” on my homepage, and thus the theme uses “td_100x70.png” in the Newspaper/images/thumb-disabled. I resplaced this image with an icon that goes well with my website.

The problem is that there isn’t the alt tag for those 100×70 images. The images are linked to posts and there also should be the post title as the alt tag of the image. Could you please fix this issue in the next update and tell me how edit the theme until you update the theme?

Is there any easy way to create a Sitemap page in this theme? I found Contact Us template, homepage template and About Me template.

Do we have any templates for Sitemap page as well?

I use the homepage post (fashion style) for our homepage/frontpage. Is it possible to have a full width menu and a background colour for the header in posts and other pages without affecting the style of the homepage?

I am using Block 15 full width on the homepage and have two rows of 5 thumbnails. I want to be able to control the height in pixels of the thumbnail in block 15. The reason for this is that the featured images are actually magazine front covers but I can not get it to display the full height of the cover.

Recently we have upgraded to Newspaper theme version 6. After the upgrade, images are not loading on the homepage. We have tried deleting cache and other basic troubleshooting steps. But its of no use.

Currently, I’m using Tech style and the slider on homepage has a shadow, as you can see here:

However, I would like to change to default which has not any shadow on pictures like the default style:

Loving the theme.

I am messing around with the custom page builder now and noticed that I can’t exclude posts from blocks that have a certain tag. I am curious if there is a way to remove all “Expired” tagged posts from homepage custom page builder blocks.

Would I have to edit each block template or is there some sort of loop before the template?

Anyone use this addons with newspaper6, how its easy to create blocks to work with newspaper 6 with this addon, may be newspaper6 can have this addon so we can create more blocks easy way.

By configuring header settings in the theme panel I can successfully change the header menu for all pages except the frontpage, and also for the frontpage when I am logged in. When I am logged out however, the frontpage header menu simply says “Click here – to select or create a menu”. Also, the top menu is displayed as a thin black line at the top of the page without any content (on other pages, it works as expected).
