Hello, I have created my mobile pages using the Tagdiv composer. So I have the mobile theme plugin disabled. I am happy with the way my pages look. My problem is I can’t see any way to change the background colour or change the font and colour of the writing of my mobile menu drop-down menu after I click on the 3-line burger. The only way I can see that I can do it is by activating the mobile theme and doing it from the theme panel. But if I do it this way, it changes the whole layout of my mobile pages. Is there a way for me to do this with the mobile theme deactivated? Thank you
Hi
I am using the Mobile theme on Newspaper. When i try to goto the 2nd page of my latest posts it displays posts not from that period, although if i goto the 3rd page it shows what should be on the 2nd.
My website is http://www.lowkickmma.com
Hello Team,
When I’m activating the AMP Plugin and scanning the website, it shows an error. (Screenshot: https://prnt.sc/89KQezS4ZOQb) which says plugin compatibility issue (https://prnt.sc/ggnwjF_DGLy2). I wanted to keep the responsive mobile version and AMP version with the same design as the mobile responsive version without using Mobile Theme Plugin. But in the article, I saw that this option best works with Mobile Plugin and AMP. But while I activated the Mobile Plugin theme, the AMP option was fully removed from the WordPress dashboard navigation pane. Even I open it in a separate window to check if AMP opens after activating the mobile plugin, but it does not work (screenshot https://prnt.sc/fukkSMYiiL-0). I checked one website which uses the same theme, but their mobile website and AMP website UI are the same: https://theprint.in/. Can you please let me know who they did that?
Hi,
Those unused javascript can be from extra plugin that you are using or maybe from some extra script that is set in the theme. You need to check the plugins you are using.
Also, you need to use some plugins for optimize.
For example if you are using the WP Rocket then you can use this guide -> https://wp-rocket.me/google-core-web-vitals-wordpress/remove-unused-javascript/
Another option will be to use the mobile theme plugin. This is special made for mobile design and will load less resource to make the mobile version faster.
I hope this will help you!
Hello,
Please provide the link to your website.
Also, please check if you have the mobile theme plugin activated, if yes, please disable it.
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.
Thank you!
Please let me know what you use for the mobile version. — I do not understand, I check my web on my cell phone. I attached two images, both from mobile version. The first one it is the home and the second one it is a post.

If the Google Adsense code is approved, then those should be displayed.
Can you please provide a link to your website and some screenshots related to the ad settings (how you set the ads code).
Screenshot both, adinserter to articles and theme panel ad options

I am using on my website your tagdiv mobile theme plugin.
How exactly your mobile theme plugin does it detect the device type?
My problem is that some times randomly i have responsive theme template on mobile and not the tagdiv mobile theme template.
My plugin for caching is litespeed and i need your answer to fix the issue with the help of litespeed support team.
My website is on production level so answer me ASAP please.
Hi, the header ad was showing correctly until we updated the theme.
Header ads are showing fine on desktop and tablet. You can take a look here:
How to reduce unused javascript for mobile theme
Hello!
The AMP works better only with the Mobile Theme plugin. From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Please read all about AMP here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Documentation here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Please read all about AMP here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
Note that you can not customize AMP so much, because it comes with its own design.
There are some settings in the Theme panel -> Mobile Theme and Dashboard -> AMP only.
You can not add a shortcode as in the TagDiv Composer. Please note that you can’t customize the AMP pages with the TagDiv Composer.
Make sure the redirect mobile visitors to amp option is disabled.
Thank you!
Hello team,
We want to use the mobile UI (we are using City Pro Template) in the AMP version. But when we are activating the Mobile Theme Plugin, there is a totally different UI. Is there any way we can convert the desktop UI to mobile UI +AMP? Here is our website: https://www.techgenyz.com/
Hello,
The mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
So, if you want to use the cloud templates, then you need to disable the mobile theme and AMP plugins, and then use the responsive version.
You can use cloud templates with AMP.
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.
Thank you!
Thank you for the help. I tried it as you said, but there were two issues: 1. The login prompt appeared on my PC page, which I don’t want because that version already has a login button, and 2. The login prompt doesn’t appear on mobile even with those settings enables. Is there a way to manually add a link to a login page to my site’s menu as I mentioned before, or a way to edit the mobile version of the page without affecting the PC version? Keep in mind that I’m not using the dedicated Tagdiv Mobile Theme plugin because the theme options for that are very limited and didn’t match the theme I used for the PC version of the site.
Hi,
Normal the Sign in / Join button should display if you enable it from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/vAX4MpU.png -> https://i.imgur.com/05VfALz.png then the login will be display in mobile menu.
Thank you!
Hello,
To hide the post view counter, you don’t need a CSS, you can disable it from Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> Post Settings -> https://i.imgur.com/1yQm8Sh.png
Thank you!
Hello!
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. Edit the page with TagDiv Composer. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB; there you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and design for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
You can choose to use whichever one is more affordable and useful for you.
If anyone doesn’t fit as you created, then make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones. Also, if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
Note: If you want to use version 1 or 2, then you need to deactivate the mobile theme plugin and see the results.
Thank you!
Hello!
Use the cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Documentation here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/
Check also our video tutorials here: https://www.youtube.com/c/tagdivThemes/videos
You can import any cloud templates from any demos you like from the Cloud Templates and assign it on your website, or you can build them from scratch by importing a blank template(in order to make it editable with the Composer).
Edit the page with TagDiv Composer. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB; there you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better. You have the possibility to hide the elements from the mobile viewport. This setting can be seen in the CSS tab of every element: [Display: HIDDEN]. If you hide it on the mobile viewport, then this element will be seen only on the desktop and tablet viewports.
There are another 2 options for mobile version:
Mobile pages: : https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
Note: All the elements are responsive when you install a cloud demo, but not the elements if you add them extra. You have to set them in the mobile viewport.
Thank you!
Hi,
I see, the problem was only for the mobile and the mobile theme is not something that you want to use.
What I can recommend is to use a mobile page template, create a mobile page template for the single post template and adjust the images size and the content that you want to display on mobile -> https://prnt.sc/hTlYMR_i5wrw
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hello Deon,
Please let me know what version theme you have and if the problem is on desktop or mobile.
Also, please check if you installed a plugin recently, if yes, please check if the plugin is not in conflict with the theme.
Thank you!
I am struggling to show ads on mobiles, I have setup the ads on ads options theme and adinsert plugin neither work, so, ads on desktops shows up perfectly.
Hello everyone,
I want a help because I’m having a problem removing the post views counter with CSS.
I’m doing it with the style.css file on Editor but when I change CSS with:
.td-post-views {
display: none;
}
I don’t get effect.
When I disable the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin or changing it on Google Chrome Console, it work.
But disabling the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin the theme changes.
How can I fix it?
Thank you
Hi Calin,
thank you for your response.
I just did a Lighthouse test with Google Chrome browser of this url: https://berliner-abendblatt.de/2020/09/13/besuch-beim-groessten-baum-berlins/
and I’m still having issues with CLS on the mobile view. Your screenshot shows the results for the desktop view which never was an issue. Google does always benchmark mobile first as most of the users are browsing with a mobile device.
Unfortunately the mobile theme is not an option as it’s less customisable compared to the standard desktop version.
But the main theme is responsive so it should normally work?!
That is why I’m trying to find a solution for CLS to fail within “td-main-content-wrap td-container-wrap”.
Hi,
I just checked the website and the core web vitals are passed now -> https://i.imgur.com/GdI7jWu.png
Also, if you are using the WP Rocket plugin you can set those settings –
> https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
Also, for the mobile version you can try the mobile theme plugin.
I hope this will help you!
Hi,
We are running a website, Guardado Rápido, devoted to videogame news, articles, reviews and so. We are using Newspaper theme in our website and we are quite happy with it. Recently we added a special row at the beginning of the page where we show the hot topics of the day. We used a row with a raw html code inside. It works pretty well but for the case of the mobile version of the webpage. In this case, as we are using Mobile Theme of Newspaper, it does not allow us to put this kind of code before the header.
The shortcut that i have found is to put the code in the ads section of the mobile theme but, in this case, it puts the code below the header. Is there any way to put this code so the raw html code appears before the header?
You can check our website at http://www.guardadorapido.com. The part that we want to be before the header is the one that starts by “Hoy se habla de:”.
The other option could be to skip the mobile theme of newspaper and use the mobile view generated by tag div composer. In this case, is there any way to use a different template for the general and the mobile view of the page. In our case the problem is that some of the structures that look fine on the desktop version does not work that well in the mobile one (the big grid)
Sorry for the long text, i hope i explained myself well.
Hello,
I just tried to check the website but I see this -> https://i.imgur.com/fjRfpIP.png
Usually, we recommend t use the mobile theme plugin, this should resolved the problem.
Thank you!
