Hi,
But why do you want to use the tagDiv mobile theme plugin with Directories Pro? All Demos have a responsive version that will look the same as the desktop version. Using tagDiv mobile theme will use a simple design that will be the same for all demos that you are using and the only elements that can be changed on it are the colors and fonts – https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction. The plugin is usually used by websites with simple blogs with a simple layout that will not differ much from the desktop version.
I managed to remove the social icons in the mobile menu by removing the links to my social pages in theme panel:
Theme Panel -> Social/APIs -> Social Networks -> Making sure all the links are empty.
Probably not the best solution but that’s what worked for me…
For the background image, I found where to change it but it’s not inutitive:
Theme Panel -> Background -> Mobile Menu / Search Background (remove the file) AND Sign In / Join Background (remove the file)
Hope this helps
Unfortunately, the mobile plugin has not been working properly since the beginning. After installing Directories Pro, I had to disable it completely. The mobile template works with all of your other themes. What can I do? I have already tried many things. This is my website: http://www.laborscope.ch
Subject: Mobile menu shows old background image + social icons, cannot find them in Composer
Hi tagDiv team,
I’m using your theme with the “Shop Audio” template and working with tagDiv Composer.
I’m having an issue with the mobile (hamburger) menu:
When I open the menu, it shows an old background image (with speakers) I didn’t add – and I can’t find it in the Composer to remove or change it.
Also, social media icons (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) appear at the top, but I can’t find them in any row/column in the Composer either.
I double-checked:
The correct header & mobile templates are assigned.
The elements are not visible in the structure panel.
I had to hide them using custom CSS, which works but isn’t ideal.
❓Question:
Where exactly can I edit or remove the background image and the social icons in the mobile menu, when they are not visible inside the Composer?
Thanks for your support and for providing such a great theme!
Best regards,
Greg

Everything seems really complex in this theme to change – no matter what i change the mobile header on baby pro template is black, where is this setting?
Yes, I did tested with Regenerate Thumbnails plugin and found an related issue:
Disabling “tagDiv Standard Pack” plugin will remove all the td_xxxx thumbnail sizes in thumbnail regeneration plugin (can show it but cannot regenerate image), even though we can select thumbnail sizes in theme panel of td. (eg. 265×198 and 741×486 for mobile theme)
When I enable the “tagDiv Standard Pack” plugin again and the regeneration return to normal.
Please check and advise, thank you.

Ok so I have to come back to this.. I am NOT using Mobile Theme because it creates too many complications on my side.. So right now I am using non-mobile theme which works very well..
The only issue is that I have a hero image on the site homepage.. This obviously is set for desktop size.. Is there a way I can serve a different image if the device used is a mobile so I can customise the image, or is there a way to make it responsive.. Everything else I am happy with..
Hello,
We apologize, that part of the documentation was not adapted. We have updated it now. Thank you for your understanding.
If is an image/banner, then you can remove the ad banner using the theme panel option – https://i.imgur.com/UMekhGI.png if is an adsense code, then you need to use a code like this one – https://wpadvancedads.com/disable-adsense-on-mobile-devices/
Thank you!
Hi,
Did you manage to resolve the situation?
I just checked the website using my mobile and it doesn’t seem to be displaying correctly on mobile – https://i.imgur.com/4LUYw04.png https://i.imgur.com/g9bOfNs.png https://i.imgur.com/CxgweFo.png the only element that is not correctly 100% displayed the the ad https://i.imgur.com/82cLUch.png that one should be centered. However, everything related to the theme appears to be okay.
Thank you!
Hi,
Usually, when this happens, it is used a cache that does not have the option to deliver a separate mobile cache version. Also, sometimes it can be Cloudflare cache, if this is used (the free version does not have a separate cache per viewport).
The simplest way to resolve the problem is to disable the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin, or in case the amp plugin is used to be set to be used only on amp version https://i.imgur.com/mn3AIzp.png also, make sure that the amp redirect is disabled https://i.imgur.com/P5XcUxA.png
Thank you!
Hi,
This situation is because the tagdiv mobile theme is used and when this is used, you need to set the content for pages in the mobile editor https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ What I recommend is to set the settings in the theme panel from Mobile+ Amp on only amp https://i.imgur.com/KHH3UXJ.png and the problem should be resolved. Also, make sure that the amp plugin does not set the redirect from mobile to amp – https://i.imgur.com/UyUxLtr.png
Thank you!
Hi,
Can you please provide a link where I can check the situation?
Normally, if the tagDiv mobile theme plugin is not installed, the responsive version should be used.
Thank you!
Hi! i have my site http://www.scienzepolitiche.unina.it not working on mobile devices since the last update of wordpress. In the specific: when i load the home page on iphone (example) it seems ok but as soon as i navigate through the internal pages, they show “blank” with the text: exit mobile version. If i click on this, everything goes ok.
Please could you help please? In the settings i use “Use AMP for mobile” as other settings (Mobile or Mobile+AMP) make the site work even worse on mobiles. Please help. Carlo
Hi,
Can you please provide some examples. Our theme is responsive and if a template is used on desktop that one can be display on mobile too. Also, make sure that you are not using an extra plugin for the mobile version (for example, the tagdiv mobile theme plugin).
Thank you!
Hello, we have a fully updated wordpress with newspapper theme.
When we enter an post like:
https://www.kynigesia.gr/opla-vlitiki/i-agora-toy-metacheirismenoy-oploy/
single_featured_image is displayed correctly.
When though we scroll down and next posts appear, images both in desktop and mobile are not displayed correctly.
In desktop image is like floated right and not in same height as the first image. In mobile image is displayed inside red background element, shgould be visible after that.
Template is single post in tagdiv.

Hi,
I see that you are using the tagDiv Mobile theme, which will provide a classic/old version for mobile if you want to have the nice layout as on desktop, please disable the tagDiv mobile theme plugin and the theme will use the responsive version. This will resolve the problems you are facing.
Thank you!
Hi.
I am trying to use the Newspaper theme mobile version, but I have encountered some problems. The main problem is that my website’s mobile version displays posts that I do not have. I didn’t create them, and I don’t have them in my posts section (I thought they may come with the default theme). The mobile menu is also not working properly. When I click Home, it takes me to a blank page, but when I click Home from breadcrumbs, it takes me to a page with the latest posts, that the majority of which are not mine. I only created one post in order to test; it appears at the top. It’s ok.
Another problem is when I try to edit the mobile menu background from the Theme Panel Mobile Theme section, I see no effect, or changes appear, then disappear.
My website link is https://informarius.com/
Please, help me solve these problems.
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
Please try this custom css:
.wp-block-table .has-fixed-layout {
width: 100vh!important;
}
Set the code in the theme panel > custom code> advance css > phone so the code will apply only on mobile.
I hope this will help you!
Hi,
For Wp Rocket if you want please try the settings from our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/wp-rocket-and-newspaper-theme-optimization-guide/
I also checked the website and the CLS is ok on both mobile and desktop https://i.imgur.com/3GNeaFe.png https://i.imgur.com/wLgo2RS.png what is not quite ok is the LCP on mobile and the FCP that is on limit.
Please check if the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin is enabled and used, normally if the plugin is disable you should get better results also on mobile the lazy loading should be avoided on first images – https://i.imgur.com/U5Z2O90.png
Hi, good day. I want the “related posts” box to be shown only to users who are browsing from a mobile device. What code should I use, and in which theme file should I make the changes?
Hi,
Do you use the tagDiv mobile theme plugin? If yes, it can be related to it and the cache
Or if you are referring that we website is like this -https://i.imgur.com/BB4kkVO.jpeg this is because you have an background image that makes the content boxed.
Hi,
Please disable the tagDiv mobile theme plugin and clear all cache after that recheck the website, the problem should be resolved.
Hi,
I checked the website and I see that you have the tagdiv mobile theme plugin enabled, but the lightspeed plugin cache that you are using do not have the cache option for mobile enabled. So it will deliver the mobile version on desktop. Also, do you want to have a different version on mobile, different from desktop and simple? If yes, then keep the mobile theme plugin, if no, then please disable and remove the plugin so the responsive version will be used.
The footer you have can be edited suing tagDiv Composer https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/ also, now I see that all elements have a hover color that is working.
Can you please provide an example for how you should like the time to be display? I will check and see what can be done.
Thank you!
