Hello @sunil5823!

I’m sorry, but I can not understand what you are looking for, but we have 3 options of mobile versions:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/

If you do not need Mobile Theme plugin layout, then please uninstall it from Newspaper -> Plugins. If you need mobile pages(2), then please make sure you’ve assigned the mobile page to the desktop one.

Thank you!

Hey @AnaMaria
Only your theme creates a different url when creating a mobile site.
Of course this version is faster, by the way you can set a smaller image size, which your theme doesn’t allow in the responsive version, which is a shame :(.
Anyway, layout for phone vs computer is nice when it is different, if only for better communication for the user.
That’s why I would like to ask how to solve the problem with new url’s created after mobilej page creation?

Hello @hegroup!

I’ve checked this website and it seems to be a custom mobile version.
Let me explain you which options of mobile versions are in our theme:

If you use Mobile theme plugin, then you can not edit the pages with TagDiv Composer.
You have only some settings for this layout, which you can find in Theme panel -> Mobile Theme.

A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

You can use which one is suitable for your needs.

Hope that helps you!

Thank you!

Hi Guys,
very happy with the theme – works perfectly. We are making a mobile app based on our site and also adding some other options.
we want to display the site posts inside the app. when our developer pulled the web to the app – it displays the site menu. we want to disable this within the mobile app. can anyone help us on how to get this done.
we simply want to show the entire post but without the menu – since we have back buttons and menu placed on app.

Hello,

I saw you made 2 topics, and the problem was that you had a mobile theme plugin enabled, so please disable it.
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.

Thank you!

Hello. I can’t figure out how to change the top part of the hamburger menu in the mobile version, not using tagDiv Composer or tagDiv mobile-plugin, not even editing the Theme panel.

I’d like to edit the parts of this image that are circled in red -> https://d.kuku.lu/413b0e803

Here is my site -> https://news-lib.com/home-mobile/

Hi,
That is because the amp is tot set on he right settings.
If you are using only amp then it need to be set on” reader” -> https://i.imgur.com/Wt2wWFg.png or you can use it with mobile theme plugin -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Thank you!

Hi sumasystems,
If I understand correctly, right now, you are using the mobile theme plugin, if is o, I think that this is disabled on that page using this option -> https://i.imgur.com/TGRbzfK.png in this way the content that is display on desktop will be display on mobile too.
If you already did that and is not working, please make a test using only the theme plugins and in case that the problem is still persisting, please contact us at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access. We’ll check it as soon as possible!
Thank you!

Hi rintu,
Thank you for contacting us!
The amp version has a simple design to make it as fast as it is possible, so our developers added the mobile theme as an amp template, but, indeed the settings for layout are only a few -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Also the /wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/single.php is the right path for amp if you use it with mobile theme plugin, unfortunately, this can not be set in child theme, that file can be overwrite only in the original files.
Thank you for your understaning!

Hello Pawan!

The settings from Theme panel are useful for the default templates. If you have the latest update of the theme and your settings from the theme panel are missing and you use default templates, then please make sure you have Standard pack plugin installed and active (Newspaper -> Plugins).
However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view. Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website.
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not, if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
For the page speed, I can recommend you some solutions in order to increase the score.
Our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update.
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:

Please check the tutorials from those platforms gt metrix and Google Pagespeed Insights and I’m sure you can increase the page speed.

Hello Support Team,
We are using a Newspaper theme and we are looking to customize the AMP Post Template, So we are trying to overwrite AMP Post Template(/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/single.php) to child-theme but have not succeeded on that.

Yes, we are using Official AMP for WP + tagDiv Mobile Theme, Screenshots: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/17570778?key=f67de777e1309c6e71653ebd1c9b2686

As per debug AMP Post Template is coming from “(/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/single.php)” so how can we overwrite into our child theme? we have a fully custom AMP design so it will not fit in your default design so we want to customize it please guide us for the same.

Looking forward to hear you.
Thank you.

Hello @mjkc!

Please make sure you have the latest version (11.3.2) of the theme, plugins and all the requirements are done as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Unfortunately, in our theme we do not have dark mode and light mode. Only dark demos which you can find in the Newspaper -> Prebuilt Websites.

Please try not to reply multiple times in the topic if possible, this will only delay our response. Replying multiple times will refresh the topic date and move it to the back of the line, we answer from oldest to newest.

Hi,
That problem is from this code
if (is_multisite()) {
$main_dir_path = $main_theme->theme_root . ‘/themes’ . get_template_directory();
}
That was added on wp-content/plugins/td-mobile-plugin/td_mobile_theme.php what you need to do is to comment it and after that the problem will be solved -> https://i.imgur.com/KuR564I.png
In the next theme update there will be a theme option to use that code or not.
In case that there are some problems, please let us know!
Let me know the results!

Hi,
I just checked your website and on mobile it looks that the rest of the “downloads” can not be loaded -> https://i.imgur.com/W0KoxfU.png the problems are from here https://i.imgur.com/z7mjorE.png
Now on that page do you use the mobile theme plugin? or the responsive version?
Please make a test and disable the mobile theme plugin and check to see if the problem persists.
Let me know the results!

Hello @wesquibel2!

I think that you use Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no setting there in order to achieve that. Let me explain you which options of mobile versions are:

Hi,
Displaying the latest posts on mobile, will indeed help s.e.o. because, the latest posts are display on desktop too.
Now about the number of posts, I don’t think that there will be some difference. But for a better s.e.o you need to use the responsive version (disable the mobile theme plugin), in this way everything that it is on desktop will be on mobile (the content will be the same), this will help to have a better s.e.o but, with a low performance on mobile. Using the mobile theme plugin the s.e.o on pages can be a little low, but the speed will be better.
Thank you for your understanding!

Hello there,

Regarding – https://knockknock.in/

On last Friday, I bought Newspaper theme. I was very excited as I heard too much positive about this theme. This time I though I should buy this and use on my blogs.

But it was completely opposite what I heard. I wasted my whole Saturday to setup this theme. How complicated it is, because you have fully depended on Tagdiv composer. I don’t know what is use of Theme Panel.

After giving more 12 hours to setup the theme, the worst thing happened with me is, Google page speed result. My blog became too heavy now. Google Page speed is showing worst result (https://prnt.sc/20y59m4).

Earlier I used get 52+ score for mobile and 90+ for Desktop but with Newspaper theme I am getting 13 for mobile and around 60 for desktop. I have changed nothing. Same server, same settings (like cheche plugin etc) but only changed theme).

I am myself too feeling it has become heavy once I installed Newspaper theme. One of my other blog also hosted on same server which is showing same result with my old theme as this used to show. Mobile – https://prnt.sc/20y5bwk Desktop – https://prnt.sc/20y5c1v

I have installed this newpaper theme on https://knockknock.in/

Could you please refund me my money? It does not meet my expectation. It degraded the performance of my blog.

Thank you
Pawan
