This is a pity but at the end the tagDiv plugin for Mobile Theme cannot work with Optimize press. This is a pity because I found this initiative a proactive and great step.
This is the only and negative downside I found using your theme.
I hope soon you will fix it
Hello, Please, i have been using this theme and i found it very great. But, the latest update does not show on my mobile phone. I use Note 3. I don’t know what i have to do before it works. Kindly help me on this. Thanks.
Hello, is there a way to disable the mobile theme on just three pages please ?
HI
The content is not hidden because there is no content for mobile. Note that if you’re using mobile heme on mobile devices will be displayed only the content added in mobile editor, except for homepage: http://screencast.com/t/0nY4XiIb Note that mobile theme won’t render shortcodes so there can’t be displayed blocks. To have the same content on mobile as on desktop you can deactivate mobile theme plugin. For more details in this regard please check this link: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Hope this helps.
Thanks!
I’ve been adding the code in Theme Panel > Mobile Theme > Custom Code
However, it seems doesn’t change in the padding in my iphone 5s.
Actually, banner cannot show the full image isn’t really important, but I want to fix the screen, don’t allow user moving left and right, just want them to scroll the page in mobile.
Are there anyway to fix the width of mobile theme? Don’t allow the user scroll horizontally?

Hi,
The full width of the iphone is 320px, but we have also some padding right and left to center the post content. You could try to use a smaller ad size or you could try this custom css in Theme Panel > Mobile Theme > Custom Code – http://screencast.com/t/ZQspc17MlwaZ – http://screencast.com/t/vs45OENUQiv
.td-post-content .td-a-rec {
margin: 20px -15px 15px !important;
}
Hope this helps!
HI
If you’re using child theme the code must be added in theme panel > mobile theme > custom code. You can ignore the warning because that code will work fine.
Thanks!
HI
Try this css in theme panel > mobile theme > custom code:
.page-id-61 .td-mobile-sub-footer-wrap {
display:none!important;
}
Thanks!
Problem with mobile 320Ă—100 adsense banner with small screen mobile phone
Hi, I found some problem with Newspaper theme in showing 320×100 adsense banner in iPhone 5s(small screen mobile phone). It will create some space , and banner will go out from the “box”.

Sample link: https://www.newmobilelife.com/2016/07/12/ioannis-ieropoulos-urine-power/
I’m using DFP system, and post ADX Code inside DFP.
Hi,
The process of crating a mobile version for your pages cannot be done automatically as the mobile theme does not use visual composer. Most people use the page builder to create their pages so a simple copy and paste of the whole content will result in a bunch of shortcodes displayed on the front end. The pages have to be built with the wysiwyg editor and not VC
On pages, youtube links will not show up as the page editor does not use any shortcodes or embeds. I will add this to our list for future updates.
Sidebars were not meant to be added on mobile. This is a choice made by the developers.
Thank you!
Hi,
It’s on a test site. How do I provide the details privately?
This is for the stars on desktop and mobile version using the Newspaper theme (news/magazine).
Thanks
Vince
Bogdan,
How do you exempt the cache for this? Using cache definitely speeds up everything. Using the mobile theme makes it optimal.
Is the solution to turn off cache? I’m using wordfence (Falcon engine) and on cloudflare. Maybe I should just use basic cache…
Anyway, is there any way to exempt the plugin from being cached?
Thank you.

Hi,
The footer class for the mobile footer is a different one if you use the mobile theme. You can use this code:
.page-id-58 .td-mobile-footer-wrap {
display:none!important;
}
Thank you!
Hello,
I’ve been testing both the responsive theme and the mobile theme from the plugin and can say that the mobile theme via plugin is faster than without it. Therefore, I will keep the plugin activated.
Only problem however, while viewing my site from a desktop, (mostly via Chrome) sometimes the mobile theme appears instead of the designated desktop theme. I wonder if this is just me or is this normal?
Furthermore, can something be done so that the mobile theme will only appear for mobile devices and not desktops?
Thank you!
I have discovered this as well. Without knowing this was the case I would not have discovered it until someone pointed it out to me.
The mobile theme is beautiful but this is quite inconvenient to copy and paste the content over to the mobile field. It would be great to have this happen by default.
Also, youtube URLs show as a video in the WP editor, but do not show as an embedded video on the mobile page. It just shows the video URL.
Also, is there a way to show sidebars in the mobile theme, below the post?
Your team gives great support so I do not want to sound like this is a major complaint. Just some feedback. 🙂
Thanks

Hi, I inserted the same code for the mobile theme under the custom CSS and the footer still shows on mobile, is it an other piece of code I need for the footer not to show up on mobile ? Is this a support forum please or do I need to email ?
Hello,
I’m not sure exactly how you want to create an app, but our theme offers a bookmarklet option so you can place an icon and add your site to the homescreen of the mobile phone. Here is the section where you place the icons: http://screencast.com/t/kqP1F9cZETi and then you can use ios or android to add he site to the homescreen and it will grab the icon you place in the theme panel.
Thank you!
Hi
The mobile theme was not intent to render shortcodes, it only render simple media added via wordpress editor. Its purpose was to serve a simple and lighter version of the site for mobile devices. For the moment we don’t plan to extent its functionality to much because that will defeat the original purpose. Our main theme already have a its mobile version which is responsive and render any type of content so it can be used if you want to serve content generated with Visual Composer on mobile.
With regard to a possible “mix” between mobile theme plugin and Newspaper theme this is not an easy task. Above suggestions cannot be implemented without customizations in code. Unfortunately we can’t provide custom work at the moment so if you really need this and you’re not aware of the steps the must be taken in order to achieve the desired result please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.
Thanks!
Hi,
Please provide a link to this article so we can inspect it and figure out why it cannot be seen on mobile. My guess is that you use visual composer to create the post and you use the mobile theme. The mobile theme will not render visual composer shotcodes. But this is just a guess until I can inspect your site.
Thank you!
Hi
Unfortunately the theme does not have an option to torn off the footer only for mobile devices. However you can use this css in theme panel > mobile theme > custom code > custom css to hide it for mobile:
.td-mobile-footer-wrap{
display: none;
}
Hope this helps.
Thanks!
Hello,
This depends on what element you use to show articles. If you use a standard block you can change the categories shown from block settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/ This affects the mobile version as well. If you use the mobile theme, then you cannot select specific categories for the homepage as he mobile theme uses a latest articles section that displays the latest posts from all categories. At the moment there is no such option for the mobile theme so if you require your mobile site to display the same articles as desktop, then you can disable the mobile theme plugin. https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hi,
Our demo does not use the mobile theme. There is no demo of the mobile theme at the moment. Your homepage shows a grid with 3 featured posts and the latest articles section. Please read this guide to learn more about the mobile theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hello,
The standard embed feature done by pasting the video url in the post content is tested to work with the mobile theme. I tested it again and there is no need to use the [embed]YOUTUBE_LINK[/embed] method as youtube videos work on the mobile theme just by pasting the youtube link inside the content.
Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. There could be a conflicting plugin that causes the issue.
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately the mobile theme will not show widgets shortcodes or any elements that are heavy on page speed. The mobile theme was created to provide the best speed on mobile while maintaining the style of your site, but unfortunately if you use widgets based on shortcodes, they will not show up on the mobile theme.
Unfortunately there is no easy way to make them show so if you require your site to look like the desktop version, we recommend disabling the mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hi there,
My website has lot of pages and as I know, Mobile theme does not support Pages. If I Activate Mobile Theme, then all the Pages appear Blank. As a result, I cant use the Mobile theme.
Are you planning to resolve the above issue soon? Any time frame? If not soon, then is it possible now:
1) Mobile Theme = Inactive,
But Mobile editor is Active to create your page. So, once all the pages are up-to-date as per mobile theme, I can activate the Mobile editor.
2) Mobile Theme = Inactive,
But automatically, the Mobile editor converts the pages as per the Mobile Theme, and the user can edit it, if required.
3) Mobile Theme = Active
But it does not show any Pages except, the Main Page (So that no blank page appears)
Best Regards,
