Hello,
Unfortunately, I couldnt close white spare place in mobile and tablet appearance in below of the header and upper of the footer except desktop version.
Any help please.
Sorry if this has already been asked and answered elsewhere but would anyone know why the mobile version of my site is showing on my laptop (Chrome and Firefox), and also on my iPad (Safari), but all news articles are showing correctly?
On mobile it seems to always be showing up correctly (in mobile format).
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
For this please make sure that you are not using the mobile theme plugin or mobile page, only the theme. If you have the mobile theme plugin please disable it.
Thank you!
Hi there,
When I see my desktop and mobile versions are very different, like the header, the logo isn’t updated, and other things.
So my question is, How can I sync desktop into mobile? as I do not want to make 2 changes in each version.
Every change is made on the desktop to appear on mobile.
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately, the theme doesn’t have this option.
A workaround that can be done is to create a mobile template and set a row and do the row sticky bottom -> https://i.imgur.com/GKQiqBA.png
Thank you!
Actually I was looking some features like shoptimizer product page – https://shoptimizerdemo.commercegurus.com/product/endeavour-training-sports-top/
Change to mobile view in browser or use phone.
You would see that add to cart button is sticky
https://prnt.sc/qzZ7wlZzuBEq
when you click on add cart it shows selection options.
https://prnt.sc/s_5Sl9xWws-A
then when you click on Add to cart it shows Cart directly.
https://prnt.sc/9TiyQTo1YkhH
Is there a chance i can do that?
Hi,
You can use the EWWW Image Optimizer
The Newspaper theme has more options then Newsmag theme, but if you prefer a simple theme to use, then the Newsmag theme is the one.
Here is an old article about those – Newspaper vs Newsmag: How to choose the perfect WordPress theme.
The pagespeed depends on what you have on your website, external resources that you are loading on the website. Also is recommended to use a cloudflare (CDN) and cache plugin.
The amp version is optional, so is no need to use it, if you want you can use only the theme or the theme with the mobile theme plugin.
Normally to update the mobile menu should not take more then a few seconds, also if is a cache used, it is ok to clear the cache.
Thank you!
I have several questions:
What plugin works to convert images from jpeg to WebP. I have tried several and they don’t work in Newsmag.
I see that many more people use the Newspaper template instead of Newsmag, is it an aesthetic issue or does it really have better results?
I see that the sample sites don’t really load too fast when parsed with https://pagespeed.web.dev/. Is Newsmag doomed to be a slow template?
I’m having trouble customising the mobile version. I can’t get the site not to disassemble when installing AMP plugins. Is AMP really worth it?
Changes to the menus on mobile take a long time to update, is this normal?
Thanks
Hello,
Please deactivate the tagdiv mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hello @DUNKY59!
Check these guides: https://www.jezweb.info/how-to-create-a-blog-post-using-wordpress-gutenberg/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
Thank you!
Hey,
I don’t understand how the single post template is generated on mobile. I can’t edit it, and it’s different from what I have set up with TagDiv Composer.
You can see it on cuisinons.com (the homepage is ok).
Thanks,
Hello @ilouie!
You said that you use the second option, mobile pages. When you create a mobile page, you should assign it to your desktop page. Please check the guide and assign your mobile pages correctly.
If you can’t handle it, then I can try to help you. Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Thank you!
What do you mean: If you assign the mobile page to your desktop page correctly, then it should display the mobile page created by you. I’ve noticed the problem is only within the front pages, both, the Desktop and the Mobile. I uninstall the cache plug in and nothing. It works correctly on the mobile, but then the Desktop version displays the Mobile front page.
Hello @ilouie!
If you assign the mobile page to your desktop page correctly, then it should display the mobile page created by you. Try to uninstall all the caching tools that you are using and check the results.
Thank you!
I also tried on other browsers but it doesn’t work! I also tried on another PC, mobile tablet but it doesn’t work. I just sent you a private email on: contact@tagdiv.com
Thank you for your reply. I’ve used this option and this is where the problem is, when I add a header to the mobile. If I add the same header as the desktop version, the desktop version would display the mobile site version, and if I add completely different header, the mobile site would display as the desktop site version, which would be incorrectly displayed on a mobile device. I’m all out of options. Here’s the version I’m using: 2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
BTW, if I use version 1, and if I remove certain information I don’t want to show on the mobile, then the desktop will not show it either..

Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you!
Hello @joeyfatstat !
It could be a caching issue, a plugin conflict, or you did not set the mobile logo in the right place.
Thank you!
Hi,
For the mobile theme, you need to set the content in the mobile editor; if you don’t set it, this will not be displayed.
You can disable the mobile theme for this page -> https://i.imgur.com/Hd0iS9o.png.
Thank you!
Hi there,
If you browse to : https://flashover.au/join-the-team/
Desktop: Shows password entry box
Mobile: Does not.
How can I resolve this?
Guys, my site at https://empresarioadvisor.com doesn’t show correctly on a mobile device. Somehow when I change the header on the mobile site, the regular site displays, and if I clear cache, the regular site displays as the mobile. It’s really annoying. I have a front page and a duplicate template as the mobile site and I’m using two separate headers and it doesn’t work. I thought about creating a completely different mobile site on a subdomain, but then I’d have to post content twice, unless I can link the content to post on the mobile site. Is there a way to do that? Thanks in advance.
Sweet! Ill work on optimizing mobile based on what you wrote… BUT why is my logo showing for a brief second and then disappearing on mobile? Whats up with that
Hello @joeyfatstat !
Do you have the latest update of the theme and plugins?

If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Unfortunately, AMP is not working with the cloud templates because the AMP’s layout is not fully customized.
The AMP version works best with default templates and not cloud templates. That’s why we integrated it with the Mobile theme plugin.
The feedback from our clients about AMP was negative and it is not used anymore, that’s why we didn’t add more customization options.
Thank you for understanding!

Hi,
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
No, you do not need a plugin to redirect to the homepage; this will automatically change, but please make sure that you have a cache plugin with the support alos mobile versions.
Thank you!
