Please deactivate all plugins leave just Visual Composer active, empty cache and check if you still have this issue with mobile menu. Also if the issue disappeared please activate your plugins one by one and see which one caused that issue. If you use child theme please also switch to the main theme and check this.
Also please make sure that you use the latest theme version 4.6.3 and update using this guide(FTP method) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/ and also update the plugins that come with the theme files from the /plugins folder.

Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have an option for this, you will need custom modifications to disable mobile version as the Newspaper theme was designed with an fixed grid layout, responsive as it is fluid and style for desktop/tables/mobile screens. You can edit the style.css file and try to remove the @media query’s for phone. We plan to create/add an option, but I provide a date when this will be implemented.

Hi! After i was done with theme customization and plugin search and setting up, I’v encountered one major problem, page speed with google speed test is 30/100 on desktop and ~20/100 for mobile version.

Hi, I purchased Newsmag in early March, 2015, and have been pleased with it. Today, I upgraded to the latest version and now the mobile slide-in menu doesn’t work properly. When clicked, it slides too far in so there is a big gap (roughly 75% of the screen) of blank space to the left of it. Naturally, the menu doesn’t fit and is barely visible on the far right due to this.
Has this happened before, and do you have any suggestions for fixing it?

Also you can hide row/columns on desktop using the same method to hide those on mobile. Add an extra class to the row/column and hide it using custom css – http://screencast.com/t/wLkbxnis

all ads are set to work on mobile, desktop etc. and the code is simply copied from adsense just like i did with the other ads which work. i tried different types of ads but none of them work with the article option… the ad simply doesn’t show (even after a few days)

I have searched, found some similar post, but it did not work for me.
So I am asking here.
1. Since I am falling short of the main menu width >> i have slightly more items, I am using top menu to put some of the main menu items there.
2, I cant see the items in TOP menu in mobile menu >>
3. Basically I dont mind to have only MAin menu visible for desktop and pads, but since I am falling short i need to use the top menu too.
4. So bascially in mobile, I need that the top menu is also combined in main menu.

Be sure you have the checkbox set for show on desktop, or show on mobile for it to be visible. Sometimes AdSense serves up a blank ad due to timeout from the server they grab the content from. Sometimes a new ad spot takes a bit for them to start serving. Sometimes an extra space or missing part of the adcode in the box will cause it not to work, so good to double double check those things.

Even when i use a html code with link the image scales to 640×82. I think its theme related a upload it in 468×60 it displays on mobile on 468×60 only on desktop 640×82. its a GIF file maybe thats the problem
Hey, I really love the theme and it looks great when I’m logged in viewing my blog wtf1.co.uk
But when I view it was a user pretty much nothing works and I can get my head around it? The main content slider doesn’t work, the menu doesn’t stick to the top, the menu drop downs don’t show… This is both on mobile and on web.
Any idea what this could be? I’m really stuck.
We are getting numerous complaints about users not being able to click off the more stories over lap on their device because the bar with the “X” to close is not visible. We have had to turn it off completely now to fix this. We have tried to increase the depth on the page that it renders to 800 px but that doesn’t help. See image attached from iPhone 6Plus – with 4 stories as the default to show.

Be aware that there is really no 100% way to fully optimize loading the above the fold content with any commercial theme like this one — this is because there are many options and functions being loaded in order to render the page at all, and to provide folks to create totally different designs.
Many articles have been written online about getting a perfect score with PageSpeed and WordPress and that requires custom building a theme from scratch and setting up regions where CSS and js are loaded conditionally and in series based on the content sections. Very complex and outside the scope of commercial themes.
Limiting things like mega menus can help, making sure any external resources load via async (we used to use addthis for social buttons on our sites and had to ‘hack’ that to add async loading of their js, because they were too stupid to do it with one line of code in their WP plugin).
Often to get the best “real world” score for your site, you need to disable any/all things which load externally (ads, etc.) and then test that. Optimize. Then switch on external things, optimize “if possible” and then realize the “real score” doesn’t count the Google ads stuff.
You can’t control caching of external elements (time to live), or minification of external resources. With Google fonts you can load the CSS locally in your own style sheet, then simply “draw” the fonts from their CDN. Now that “Roboto” is open source, one could in theory even load that font off your own server and bypass Google entirely. Or just use “web safe” fonts, to eliminate any external font loading.
For the above the fold render blocking blah blah. If your mobile score is above 85 you’re fine; if your desktop is above 90 you’re fine. But there is a notable “tuning” process to this, and again — it’s almost impossible to eliminate the “render blocking” or “above the fold stuff” entirely with *any* commercial theme.
Not sure any of that helps… just some feedback on my own suffering using commercial WordPress themes, and also building my own bootstrap 2 templates which are running our main business portal (using .shtml and custom page builder CMS; not WP).

Hi! I need some help to make the logo bigger with the Header Style 9. I know I can change the min-height/max-height and stuff… but… the sticky header persists bigger instead of to load the Mobile Logo, for example.
So I need to find a way to use a logo with 100px of height in the normal header and 75px in the sticky header.

This is the css I’ve used you can set the “ttt” class your self and sue the css below to hide it and place it in theme panel > advanced css on the device you need to hide it.

3. That unfortunately can’t be done easily as the theme isn’t designed to support blocks in the header. Viewing my website on a desktop, it is ok but partially ok when it is viewed on the mobile in the landscape format but very distorted when viewed in the portrait view. The same content is used and loads on mobiles also and the ad divs are just hidden and change the display mode depending on the devices screens width.
