Hello,

The page speed is not related only to the theme that you are using, this is affected by plugins/content/ads/ external resources, etc.
I just checked your website and it looks that your images used on the map => https://www.screencast.com/t/YK8KTa7qT are not optimized, for example, you can use the EWWW Image Optimizer plugin, also, you can try other plugins like Autoptimize, but I am not sure if it works on the images from this map (you can contact the authors of the plugin and ask how you can set the height and width on images if you succeed then you will have a better score). Your website needs an optimal speed that’s why you need to make some settings also to help for the improvement.
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/optimize-script-to-improve-site-speed/
https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-few-tips-for-newspaper-x-speed-high-cpu-usage-issues/
https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/
However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view.
Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website.
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
Also, you can try to update on a staging website or subdomain the theme to version 11 and try our tool https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnkVapqhIHc
Our tool is running only on normal pages and not for posts or categories for example.
“This custom tool performs an automatic test to find missing CSS rules applied by user interaction. Moreover, you can manually interact with a chosen section/component from the page while the tool records all the involved CSS. It will generate the final CSS file for this page and also will split the rules in Critical CSS to be loaded in the website’s header.” ( https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-the-newspaper-theme-10-4-update/ )
For mobile, you can use a mobile theme plugin or mobile page, you can find more information in these articles
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

How to show google ads on mobile after 4 posts, 8 posts, and 12 posts, there is any setting?

Hello!

It seems that you use Mobile Theme plugin.
If you want a responsive version for your mobile version, then you should uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin which has its own templates and your responsive version will appear automatically.
A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
In our theme you can use TagDiv Composer to easily edit your pages.
For more information about it check our tutorial right here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Thank you!

Hello,

I just checked your website and now the mobile theme is activated = > https://www.screencast.com/t/asbeCJB64Dy8, also, please try to regenerate your thumbs => https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/
Also, if you have the theme version 10 https://i.imgur.com/X1JSbCy.png please update to version 11, before updating the theme please make a full backup to all files and database https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ using method B, please disable all extra plugins, also, please don’t update the WordPress to version 5.8.
Also, I checked your page speed and you have a good score => https://i.imgur.com/rGgrq5D.png -> https://i.imgur.com/UDJEuaH.png -> https://i.imgur.com/m0wGrGw.png
Also, you can check this topic about page speed https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/lcp/ and try the solutions.
I have the version of PHP 8.0.7 https://i.imgur.com/bNi1M2t.png and I don’t have any errors, please send some screenshots of how your website is broken when you have another version of PHP.

Why is my website‘s mobile Google test slow?

Use PageSpeed Insights to test.

My score is only 20 points.
The newspaper 10 I bought last year.
You are now 11.
I tested your website just now, and the mobile terminal score is 90 points.
Can you help me analyze why my website score is so low?

I tried to enable your mobile speed optimization plugin.
But after enabling this plugin.
You need to edit the content of the mobile terminal separately, and you cannot use templates.

I cannot accept this.
So how can I optimize my mobile site?

This is the URL of my website http://www.fivestar.news.
I don’t wish to use the mobile template instead, I want to use
responsive version.
My website on desktop is working as expected but on mobile devices is not showing the images. Aside from that I also want the same footer on mobile devices as on the desktop. I have attached the screenshots of the website while it is opened on a mobile device.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi,

I have several issues with the current Newspaper 10 version

1. I have tried to set up the mobile theme for my website http://www.sweetsharing.com but it won’t show. The version showing on mobile is not the Vital set up by me. It fails the Core Web vitals and the Gtmetrix score is poor 50% while the desktop version score is 98%. (for pages)

2. Tagdiv composer Overloads my site with CSS and JavaScript making a negative impact on the performance.

3. The site breaks when I update the PHP version. I have to work with the older 7.3 version.

Pls reply urgently!

Hello!

Let me explain which options you have:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

3. Mobile theme plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

If you want a responsive version for your mobile version, then you should uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin which has its own templates and your responsive version will appear automatically.

A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

The CSS Analyzer is our automatic tool which is very useful for the page speed and unused CSS. Please read about it because it could help you to improve your website performance.

Hi,
Unfortunately, I do not know the WP Rocket plugin how need to be set because we didn’t test it, but I found this guide about it https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/106-my-site-is-broken -> https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/915-find-the-right-js-files-to-exclude-from-minification.
Also those are all the js file that contain code for mobile menu:
-> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/assets/js/js_files_for_front.min.js
-> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js
-> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js
-> wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/js/tagdiv-theme.min.js
-> wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/js/tagdiv-theme.js
If you are using a the responsive version of standard pack is use a file, for cloud, a different one, for mobile theme another one and so on.
I hope this will help you!

Hi bilecikdostlari,
Indeed to optimize the website is not quite easy, we also use a few plugins for this (Autoptimize, Download
EWWW Image Optimizer, WP Super cache, CSS Analyzer from Newspaper theme), we use plugins cache, optimize plugins for images and so on.
Also for mobile version now we use the mobile page/template, but some users still prefer the mobile theme plugin. Both of theme provide better results then the responsive version.
Thank you!

Hello!

If you do not want Mobile theme, you can uninstall it.

If you want to disable the Mobile theme on a post, you can edit the post normally and you have this option: https://www.screencast.com/t/chOh5EIIN

Thank you!

Hello!

From what I can see, it’s an AMP ad. Please check if you have something here: https://www.screencast.com/t/UW145ETOD or Mobile ads.

Let me know the results!

Hello!

The mobile theme plugin has the advantages for page speed and optimization. On the other hand it offers almost no customization.

From what I have personally seen I would choose the mobile templates version because the AMP future is not so bright, Google will no longer take AMP in consideration that much.

Here you can see a video guide from our team where you can see the differences: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY&t=9s

Thank you!
