Hi,
How do I remove the header menu from the mobile version without removing it in desktop. My website is wordpress.elbebe.com and this is the screenshot. http://prntscr.com/od3ow9

Hello !
The less plugins the page has to load the greater the speed. But if you want your page to have good google results then you will need amp, also the mobile theme increases the page speed on mobile devices. Also to increase page speed you can take a look at this tutorial: https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/
I hope this was helpfull !
Thank you !
As we know that Newspaper is a responsive theme. Do we require a mobile theme or amp. Is not using the mobile theme or amp will increase site speed?
Hi,
This issue will be fixed in the coming theme update. The temporary fix is to enter this code in the theme panel custom CSS section
.td-mobile-content .td-icon-menu-right {
display: inline-block;
}
Then the drop-down arrow will appear – http://prntscr.com/oczz2z
Sorry for the inconvenience, please let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
I made some tests with the mobile horizontal menu, seems that on Android phones the scrolling action builds momentum, while on iOS phones the scrolling stops immediately when the finger is lifted (more like a dragging action).
I can’t provide a solution for this at the moment, but I will however make a note of it for more investigation. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Thanks
Hi,
I have checked your mobile menu on mobile and it seems to return good results. It seems to works as expected. Also, if you want to display more ads inside your homepage you will need to use the Ad Box functionality for that. If is not what you mean, please provide more details about that, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thank you!
Hello !
We are sorry for the inconvenience !
This is a bug and we are sorry for that. As a quick fix you can use this css code to display those arrow that will show the sub-categories:
.td-mobile-content .td-icon-menu-right {
display: inline-block;
}
The result will be this: https://www.screencast.com/t/n6bOnmAfi1jg
And you have to paste the code here: https://www.screencast.com/t/J1Nxw5s5
I hope this was helpfull !
Thank you !
Hi,
You should not add anything for the mobile theme in that case.
Thank you!
Hello,
while the theme panel is loading, I can still see the option:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/enxhx1r6h5egaop/Screenshot%202019-07-10%20at%2012.38.12.jpg?dl=0
After it finished loading, the accordions dissappear:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/sby3rjufzhwwxxu/Screenshot%202019-07-10%20at%2012.38.21.jpg?dl=0
How can I set the mobile and amp logo?
Hi,
So you want to remove the search icon in mobile and AMP, from what I can see it is removed at the moment.
Mobile – http://prntscr.com/ocxhgq
AMP – http://prntscr.com/ocxhk3
If I misunderstand the problem, please let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
You can use below page as reference.

On bigger screens there is space below the footer. It works fine on standard laptop screens and mobile.
On my site (https://www.mickeyviews.com/) you will notice in the menu the “Travel Tools” option has two sub entries that are clearly visible in the desktop view. If you resize the site for mobile/responsive, no drop-down caret appears next to “Travel Tools” on the responsive menu. It used to, but now it does not and I can’t figure out why. I’ve done many different combinations and switching the menu drop-downs around but still for some reason none of the sub-entries appear when you look at the responsive/mobile menu. I went so far as to disable and enable all plugins to make sure there was nothing conflicting, etc to no avail. Where did the carets go?

Hello,
We are currently experiencing a discrepancy between our Staging and Live/Production sites involving the subcategories not showing in our menu on mobile devices. Below are links to both our Live and Stage sites:
Live: https://thefreshtoast.com
Stage: https://stage.thefreshtoast.com
In our Theme Panel, we are using the Mobile Theme and our settings are the same across both sites however you will notice that our Live site doesn’t have expanding arrows for the menu whereas our Stage site does. I reviewed the documentation on how to create MegaMenus with subcategory support but for some reason we don’t have those options available when attempting to create a new menu. The only major difference between the two sites are that our Live site has its own security and firewall system in place. Any information on why this is happening or how to resolve it is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

Hi Calin,
Mobile version with Chrome inspector:
http://www.filedropper.com/mobileversioninchromedesktopinspector
Iphone version:
http://www.filedropper.com/iphone
In mobile slide is not fluid, stops if you haven’t got your finger on the screen,
if you try the same in desktop is the way it has to work, like the websites I sent to you, all have the same functionality. I think is something in javascript, but I’m not sure what it is.
If you try any of this websites in your mobile and you compare them with newspaper theme, you will see what I mean:
elconfidencial.com
menswearstyle.com
aplesfera.com
hola.com
vozpopuli.com
guineenews.org
All do the same, if you slide menu continues sliding even if you don’t have the finger on the screen (In desktop works properly). That’s why I saw that something is not working perfect, I think your theme is the best, and you want it to remain the best 🙂 .
Hey there,
it looks like my mobile menu is not working on my site.
Furthermore, there are way too many Ads on the homepage of the site and I have no idea why that is.
Parenthoodtimes.com
Thanks for your help!
Cheers,
Abdul
Hello,
The code is working 100% and now position of ads is perfect, as well as, I fixed inline ads from the tutorial you provide me. Thank you very much, it was so helpful !
BUT STILL I HAVE THE SEARCH BUTTON ISSUE , THE BUTTON SHOW WHEN YOU ADD google xxxx.com/article/?amp
I mean in AMP pages, and the problem is 75% of my visitors use mobile so it is very important for me to fix this issue
Thank you.
Hi,
The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se
Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
Also for the 3 blocks, you’ll need to have set same feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4
If you want the responsive version and amp you should use this opinion -> https://www.screencast.com/t/jZct5ueBqOrb but if you have amp activate on pages you’ll need to create in Mobile editor a content for AMP version of page.
Let me know if you have more questions!

Hello !
The official AMP plugin works only with Mobile Theme on Newspaper. Unfortunately the other option would be for you searching an amp plugin that allows you to integrate your ads into a theme. We cannot recommend any since we haven’t made any tests with another plugin to see if conflicts will appear.
We are sorry for the inconvenience !
Thank you !
Hi,
Here is an article about the changes made and why they were made – https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
Please make sure that you are using the mobile theme that comes with the Newspaper 9.7.3 package, this will allow you to use the functions.php and style.css files.
Thank you for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience!
Hello TAGDIV Team,
i am not using mobile theme, but we use AMP plugin, my que is where i past amp ads code in theme. we also past desktop ADS code and its work fine. plz guide us.
Hi,
I’ve checked your website in mobile version and the changes for load more button are apply -> https://www.screencast.com/t/wuT8Adpgn
Also fell free to change the colors.
Thank you!
Hi Vlad,
you can see it here from a real mobile device (iPhone in this case):
https://www.screencast.com/t/hLRxE7HByr69 -> turn to square -> https://www.screencast.com/t/nVRu4C5VEb8 (not centered anymore) -> turn back https://www.screencast.com/t/D63hQXTiPMZ (again not centered). The example ist from over here: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-aston-villa-beat-liverpool-to-join-arsenal-in-the-fa-cup-final/. The same issue is in any gallery on our page.
Thanks and best,
RPD
Hi,
Yes, the demo look different because on that demo is use the responsive version of the theme, not the mobile theme, installing a demo will not activate/deactivate theme plugins, this need to be done manually, if you want the same layout, please deactivate the mobile theme from plugins -> https://www.screencast.com/t/j9ELUIo020m clear all cache and check the layout.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi @mimicreature,
Please make sure that you set the ads in Theme panel>Mobile theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/qd7jVdqS after that clear all cache and try again, the ads should be display in mobile theme too.
Thank you!
