Hi,
The Posts Loop is a special element that has an automatic filter to display articles related to the template where it is set. For example, if it is on a category page, it will automatically display articles from that category. If it is set on a regular page, it will display all articles sorted by latest.
Also, you could check the offset option in the Posts Loop. This should be empty so that no articles are skipped.
Hi,
1. I believe there has been a misunderstanding regarding the cloud templates.
In the General tab, you will find the standard cloud templates for a blog. These include templates for the header, footer, single post, category, tag, author, date, 404, attachment, and search pages.
The template that can be used for a single doctor is available under the Single Article cloud templates (see: https://i.imgur.com/xNZUSoK.png). However, the template you are trying to use is a Custom Post Type (CPT) template. CPT templates cannot be applied to regular single posts; they can only be used for their respective CPTs. Additionally, this CPT template is not part of the cloud templates—it was provided in my previous reply—and, as mentioned, it works only for CPTs, not for standard posts or articles.
If you want your regular posts to have a layout similar to the CPT layout, you will need to recreate it manually using the Theme Builder in tagDiv Composer. If custom fields are required, you can use the ACF plugin to achieve this.
To copy and paste the CPT template I provided, please edit a single under the Custom post type – https://i.imgur.com/ZvgMAhV.png hover over the 3 dots and click on “edit” https://imgur.com/NlMnH9L. After that, replace the code with the one from here https://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Custom-Post-Type-CPT-Doctors-PRO.txt
2. As mentioned above, there is a misunderstanding. I believe this comes from trying to combine multiple prebuilt templates without fully understanding how the theme works. It seems there may be some confusion about core concepts such as what a post is, what a CPT (Custom Post Type) is, and the difference between categories and taxonomies, including how they are configured and how they are meant to function.
The section you are referring to (https://i.imgur.com/UrNPZOE.png) is displaying the Doctors CPT, and its layout is provided by the Doctors PRO Plugin. This plugin can be installed from Newspaper > Plugins > Dedicated Plugins for Prebuilt Websites (https://i.imgur.com/6eVC20P.png). Once the plugin is installed, you can use Flex Block X to select and display that module (https://i.imgur.com/nZpalQh.png). However, since the plugin creates the module using predefined code, we recommend creating your own custom module using the Module Builder, and then displaying it via the Flex Block Builder.
By doing this, you gain full control over the module’s layout and settings. For example, if you want to add an “Age” field, you can create a custom field using a plugin such as ACF, and then display it in your custom module using the Custom Field element.
Thank you!
Got it thanks. By the way, how come sometimes when I use the Posts Loop 2 inside e.g. a category template, /page/2/ shows up empty?
Hello tagDiv Support Team,
I am experiencing a critical error on my website (running the Newspaper theme) specifically when performing a search. The rest of the site functions normally, but submitting a search query results in a “Critical Error” message.
Error Log Details:
I have enabled WP_DEBUG and identified the following fatal error:
Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot access offset of type array on array in …/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_util.php:1196
Stack Trace Summary:
#0 td_util::get_template_id(Object(WP_Post)) called at td_util.php(340)
#1 td_util::check_header() called at td_wp_booster_functions.php(513)
The error seems to originate during the wp_enqueue_scripts and wp_head actions when the theme tries to determine the template ID for the search results page.
Environment Information:
Theme: Newspaper (using a child theme)
Plugin: tagDiv Composer
PHP Version: 8.4.13 (The error appeared after upgrading PHP versions)
WordPress Version: 3.9
The error only occurs on the search results page.
Is this a known compatibility issue with PHP 8.x and the current version of the tagDiv Composer? Could you please advise if there is a specific patch for td_util.php or if a plugin update is required to handle the array type-checking more gracefully in PHP 8?
Thank you for your assistance.

Hi,
In most cases, this issue is caused by a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme or by a plugin conflict. As a result, after configuring the page or Cloud Template with tagDiv Composer and saving it, you may encounter this error the next time you attempt to edit it.
If the issue occurs only on a specific page or Cloud Template (including the header or footer), it is likely related to certain settings or shortcodes used there. You can test this by temporarily changing the header or footer to see if the problem persists. In many cases, the issue can be resolved by restoring a previous version using page revisions: https://wordpress.com/support/page-post-revisions/
Thank you!
Hi,
Most of the time, the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme or a plugin conflict; therefore, after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, the next time you try to edit it, you’ll get that error.
If is only for one page or a cloud template (it can be on the header or footer, you can change them for tests and see if the problem persists), this is from some settings/shortcodes set on it and it can be fixed using the page revision https://wordpress.com/support/page-post-revisions/
Thank you!

Hi,
7. You can use Google Auto Ads, normal ads, or both, also for auto ads, and from your Google account, you can set if you want a theme in the header zone or not.
8. You need to edit that page/template with tagDiv Composer, select teh element and select on each viewport in parts https://i.imgur.com/UFPua5N.png and adjust the modules per row in the layout tab for each module – https://i.imgur.com/K1SMT5M.png
1-2. The template code https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_doctors_pro/tdcpt_doctors/herman-rehema/ is in this pastebin Custom Post Type – Doctors, just make sure that you have the cloud templates. CPT/Taxonomies: a single template that you want to hold the code. If you do not have one, you can import one, and after that, edit it https://i.imgur.com/NlMnH9L.png and replace the code with teh one from the above link.
Here https://i.imgur.com/xIJKuIb.png you have set the limit to 6 “posts”, do you have those posts or you have only 2? If you have more than 2, then please check the sort set on the flex block is set on popular – https://i.imgur.com/PraO5Jq.png set it on latest to see if the rest of the articles appear.
This – https://i.imgur.com/Ukc4bYp.png is not a form input for a custom field. The post title https://i.imgur.com/Ukc4bYp.png will be given to the article, so there is no need for any custom field.
For the submit button, you should set the post type that your articles will be – https://i.imgur.com/K6WytUC.png if you want to use it for a contact form only to send and receive an email you can use a plugin like Contact Form 7, because the current system you try to use is made to create a CPT post type https://i.imgur.com/mAYVT6j.png https://i.imgur.com/j31xd5o.png
About this – https://screenrec.com/share/5Qzn0Zp23C and this https://screenrec.com/share/YMg8iRp3sX you understand right that will allow the user to create 5 articles in the 3 mentioned post types https://i.imgur.com/OTozbX7.png what you need to do is to have 3 separate pages with a form in them like this one https://i.imgur.com/tK2Wm8e.png, and the settings on the submit button should be to the right CPT that is for that page
Loops (https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-builder-flex-loop-builder/)- https://i.imgur.com/8DlCG9G.png are spafile blocks that automatically filter the results after the template is set, if they are set on a page, they will display the latest, and you can set on them the post type you want to display – https://i.imgur.com/8DlCG9G.png
Here https://i.imgur.com/CtQc9Ax.png you need to use the slag not the id https://i.imgur.com/FTcXcOf.png
Hi,
If you are using flex blocks https://i.imgur.com/49WaLVd.png, flex grids, then you can use the tagDiv Composer to edit the pages/template, select the block and look in the layout tab after the image settings https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thank you!
Hi,
It is possible to have 2 header templates and one of them to set global (the one displayed on most of the website pages and templates) and one to be set as individual.
Please go to Cloud templates and look to see if you have more header templates there, if you have – https://i.imgur.com/6RU8av8.png
Hello,
Here are the three available solutions for the mobile version:
1. Responsive Desktop Version – The default responsive layout that adjusts to mobile screens using tagDiv Composer – https://i.imgur.com/apZQZ0o.png
2. Mobile Page/Template – A custom mobile layout that can be created using the tagDiv Composer.
3. tagDiv Mobile Theme Plugin – A separate mobile theme that provides a dedicated mobile experience but is limited in edits and changes.
Note: When the tagDiv Mobile Theme Plugin is activated, it takes priority and will be displayed on mobile devices. If it’s not active, the system will check for a mobile page/template built with tagDiv Composer. If neither of these is in use, the responsive desktop version will be shown by default.
Related to the cache, please check in the cache plugin documentation if this supports mobile cache if you are using the mobile page/template or tagDiv Mobile theme.
Also, the tagDiv Mobile theme is the only one that can be used for AMP. Unfortunately, the options for editing the layout are only a few. Also, pages need to be remade using the mobile editor only:

Hi,
Yes, the Big Grid Flex 1 and the other blocks and grids can be used on pages and cloud templates and you can display any CPT type you want, posts, articles, events …. – https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/ – https://i.imgur.com/MaTZvGr.png

8) Having an issue with one of the modules breaking with my content on mobile devices.

This is a fresh import of the Homepage – Influence Cloud Template.
Looking for support before I remove elements one by one to determine the culprit.
Can you enlightenment us on how the theme’s cloud templates are supposed to work with Custom Post Types + custom taxonomies when filtering, taxonomy navigation and text search with Filter Everything Pro.
My setup simplified:
There is a CPT called ‘Movie’ and it has a custom taxonomy ‘Genres’. I’ve added nav menu item for this Movies page which is not a page, but the theme is configured to use a cloud template for this CPT.
I have added a FEP filter set for movies with filtering by genre and/or text search.
I added the universal shortcode [fe_widget] on this cloud template.
I’m puzzled because in the filter set settings the only configuration combination I got this shortcode to work is Where to filter > Common WordPress pages, All archive pages for this Post Type; And what to filter? > Posts list <<Movies #2>>
Yes, it works… But why cannot I choose to apply the filter to Post types > Movies or Cloud Templates?
Hello,
We are currently using the latest version of the Newspaper theme, and we are experiencing an issue with the Search Results page.
When performing a search on the site, the page returns a critical error. We’ve done extensive troubleshooting, including a full plugin test, and found that the search results work normally only when the TagDiv Composer plugin is deactivated.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
– Visit our site: https://mycentralfloridafamily.com/
– Click the search icon in the main navigation
– Enter any search term
– The search results page returns a critical error
When TagDiv Composer is deactivated, the search results page functions correctly.
Could you please help us investigate this issue? It appears to be related to TagDiv Composer, possibly a compatibility bug with the search results template.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Hi
I have ane event calendar plugin, and I am trying to create a single event page, but I tried in general tab, in CPT tab, but can not render info of events, and viewing event takes me back to events list page, please help.
Hi,
For this situation https://screenrec.com/share/rTXwfE8ezp were you want to display 6 elements per row, for this the row must be set in one column that will contain the entire space from the left to the right, in your first case the row is et in more columns so the space in a column is smaller, the same is in the second situation when the element is in the left sidebar, you ca not display in that small space more then one result per row. But maybe you want to display more results and not adjust the results layout per row, if is so this can be done from General tabby setting the post limit number – https://i.imgur.com/LPTqZDc.png
So on this: https://screenrec.com/share/TRB1qUhjd7 the form input can use directly the custom filed name (https://i.imgur.com/2NBsaIX.png) or you can choose it from available custom fields, in your case you set the name f the filed https://i.imgur.com/89cX2Qh.png remove it and let that filed empty, after that you can choose from the dropdown list of available fields. More details in this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/introduction-cpt-acf-newspaper-theme/
For footer situation https://screenrec.com/share/SFlYzUCQMp on homepage usually the situation you have is when you have a different footer template set on homepage, for this edit the homepage using tagdiv composer select the manager then select the footer and from there make sure that the footer used is the global one – https://i.imgur.com/I0F3bca.png
To set the subscription https://screenrec.com/share/spWVPuCZ21 please check this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/subscriptions/ and for Listing
For this https://screenrec.com/share/yov6OBal1d you need to use tagDiv Composer and Filters and sorting for taxonomies – https://forum.tagdiv.com/filters-sorting-taxonomies/ to import that template you need to do it under the cloud templates > CPT/Taxonomies taxonomy https://i.imgur.com/90NXDRl.png (is a taxonomy for cpt)
Hi,
Are you using the mobile page or responsive version for mobile? If you are using the responsive eversion for mobile, then there are specific options that can be adjusted per view port – https://i.imgur.com/rKoe48B.png, but not all option can be edited per each view port, some of them can be set only global.
In case you are using a mobile page this will be edited separate from desktop version. Just a note when you use the mobile page/template make sure that the cache plugin you are using has option for deliver separate cache per mobile version.
Thank you!
Hi,
I believe that’s on your blog. The footer can be customized with the composer. If you edit for example the homepage with the composer https://prnt.sc/9ORTEOqJmztt and scroll down to the footer, you can click on anything and customize it https://prnt.sc/VdlRyG4eUfXu
The posts that Popular Posts displays depends on the filtering and sorting it uses. It may be set on popular sorting, which can display older posts as well if they are popular. Or it may be “stuck” if the options required for the theme to count post views are not active. I suggest changing the sorting to random 7 days, to have some variety of new posts in that block https://prnt.sc/g9fHJYkj22t5 as a quick solution.
Everything can be customized with the composer. The theme panel is very rarely needed to be used. It was used more many years ago when the theme used to use the simpler header and footer templates, or post templates, etc. But ever since we added the cloud library and the PRO demos, these are fully built with the composer -> https://tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/
Please let us know if we can help with something else and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thanks.
Hello,
I’m using the Newspaper template with WordPress infrastructure. I don’t know exactly when this problem started, but for some time now I haven’t been able to access the “Pages” section in WordPress and I’m getting a “critical error occurred” message. Until a few weeks ago, when I deactivated the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, there was no problem and I could edit the pages I developed with the tagDiv editor.
Now, even though I deactivate the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, I get the same error when I open a page with the tagDiv editor and I can’t proceed.
I would appreciate your help in determining what the problem might be.
Sincerely.
Hi,
To add a video to the forum, it needs to be hosted on a platform as you did now.
It appears that my colleagues didn’t upload all the cloud templates for doctors to the cloud 🙁 but, do not worry, I will provide each template you need.
Now the CPT template, the one under the Cloud Templates > CPT/Taxonomies – https://i.imgur.com/4XyThJL.png will be used only on CPTs, (doctors is a CPT in taht case), now, in provided screenrecord I see taht you try to edit an article, so for articles will be used the Cloud Templates for Single Post Template, those are under Cloud Templates > General – https://i.imgur.com/eABjPhi.png (you can edit it the same use tagDiv Composer, select the flex block x and remove the cpt “tdcpt_doctors” from filter taxbs after taht use the module tab to chnage the module layout).
To add a module to Flex Block X or Flex Loop, you need to edit the template or page with tagDiv Composer, select the element – https://i.imgur.com/GfWkUEM.png first in the general tab, and remove the CPT type “tdcpt_doctors” – https://i.imgur.com/zPaJKVa.png after that from the Module tab, change between Module 1 and Module 2 – https://i.imgur.com/YgyJY9Y.png – https://i.imgur.com/nSJJZVy.png
For the flex block, the CPT that needs to be removed is under the filter tag, after that do the same with the modules, change to module 2 and back to module 1. Use the one you like the most – https://i.imgur.com/IpWFX3l.png
I would have to add listings of specific custom taxonomy types to a CPT category templates, along with custom taxonomy filterings… But those custom taxonomies filterings would have been needing to be on the bottom of the page.
This didn’t work out so well with Flex Loop Filters module because changing of taxonomy categories reloads the page, which jumps the page to the top (instead of loading new content async via AJAX and updating the URL programmatically).
For now I have created a separate page with those specific custom taxonomy listings.
